“I’m glad you could make it,” Ian told Eloise who just got in the car.

“I was free and nothing was holding me back, and well, I was wondering what this was about,” Eloise said and smiled.

It had been a few days since La La Land was released and the hype was above and beyond the roof. Not the roof of their car, but above any roof. The days had been passing by like blinking, also the fame the crew and Ian owned. Especially Eloise and Ryan got so much attention from the public and media ever since the word got out about La La Land.

“How have you been doing?” Eloise asked in her gentle voice. “We haven’t been in touch after that night, although we worked on the promotions,” She said and smiled.

“I have been great, thanks to yours and the others acting,” Ian said and chuckled.

“So… Where are we going? And why black?” Eloise asked in curiosity because Ian had especially told her to wear black.

“To watch a movie,” He said and smiled while igniting the gas.

“What? What movie…? I already watched La La Land in the crowd. You know, the expressions were totally heart-warming. I truly felt as if I have done a fair job in playing Mia,” She said and smiled.

A true actor/actress who works hard and wants to succeed in a movie just from their performance, and is being honest about their skills of acting, is someone who genuinely awaits good feedback from people. Hollywood has become a place where many actors or actresses just do the role for the sake of their profit and do not care about the aftermath of the movie.

But, there were also many actors and actresses like Eloise, who secretly visited the theatre in a crowd where it takes a lot of trouble to get in since it's still the first few days and keep watching the faces of people in front of them and enjoy for themself their acting skills.

“You did an excellent job, Eloise. But take this mask and cap. This is another movie,” Ian said and showed where he had kept them in the car.

“Ooooh! A secret mission sounds great!” Eloise said and giggled like a small kid. After all, every adult has an inner kid within themselves.

They stopped in the middle of the street and Eloise looked at Ian confusedly.

“Why?” She asked.

“Ice cream?” Ian asked back.

“Are we on a date or what?” Eloise questioned back.

“Nuh-huh. I don’t date, let’s just say… Two friends who enjoy being with each other, and are on a secret mission,” He said and poked her nose, after which she giggled.

After they got their ice cream and started getting back on track, Ian took a few turns and they reached the nearest movie theatre and got in from the tickets that Ian booked before coming. It was 'The 13th Street'. In fact, Ian wanted to know how good it was and to get the satisfaction of knowing La La Land is at least ten times better than it, at least that was what he thought. Surprises await…

Going in, they got seated in the middle of the theatre and Eloise was wearing the cap and mask Ian gave, while Ian was just wearing the mask.

“'The 13th Street', really?” Eloise asked as if to mock him.

“The movie of our rivals, gotta see how ‘good’ they pretend it to be,” Ian said and they both laughed silently.

The movie started and the screen showed 'The 13th Street" in bloody letters, which gave out a creepy feeling. The fonts and the background gained Ian's interest so he was waiting for the movie to start.

The story started with a small girl, who was around 7-years-old, who came running with blood all over her face. She screamed loudly making almost everyone in the hall gasp. The girl was looking at her hands, which were already covered in blood and her expressions were to the point. She screamed and collapsed onto the floor.

“Two months Ago” The screen showed the letters and hence, the movie started.

The story was about how, in Backlin, Weirdra, Job tells the story of how the town became a safe haven for a group of young cultists. The economy of the town was mostly agricultural, and the town was surrounded by vast cornfields. One particular year the corn crop failed and the people of Backlin turned to prayer in an attempt to ensure a successful harvest. A mysterious boy preacher, Album Win, arrives and takes all the children of Backlin into a cornfield to speak to them about the prophecies of a demonic version of the Judeo-Christian God called "He Who Walks Behind The Rows". Album, through his lieutenant Meruchai, leads the children of the town in a revolution, brutally killing all of the adults in the town. Over the ensuing years, the children take any adults passing through as sacrifices.

Three weeks later, Vikky and his girlfriend Ren pass through Weirdra while driving cross-country to Vikky's new job as a physician in Seattle, Washington. They are traveling in their car and hit a small boy out on the highway. This boy was one of the Backlin children who tried to escape the iron hand of the death cult. The couple places his body in the trunk. They encounter an old mechanic, who is little to no help, as the children of Backlin have employed him to lead all adults passing through to the town, but they betray him and kill him anyway. Vikky and Ren finally end up in Backlin, after searching for several hours for a phone. A struggle ensues between the couple, "He Who Walks Behind the Rows" and the children as the couple is violently chased through the city. Vikky and Ren rescue Job and his little sister Sarah, who do not wish to be part of the cult. Ren is captured by Meruchai, and she is prepared as a sacrifice before they track down and capture Vikky and the children.

Vikky, Ren, Job, and Sarah survive and are able to leave Backlin as the cornfields burn. As Vikky grabs the map they used to get there, a teenage girl who is a member of the cult jumps out at him from the back seat and attempts to stab him. Ren knocks her out with the passenger door, and the four walk off into the distance to parts unknown.

With that, the teenage girl goes to her house and gets stuck there with her foster parents. But the real deal starts now. Every month after that incident, on the 13th a ghost wanders into the 13th Street which is right in front of her house. She was trying to leave the cult behind in her past, but it doesn’t seem to end there. In fact, that was where it all started.

Ian, who kept watching the movie with Eloise by his side, wasn’t scared even a bit. The plot was surprisingly amazing, but it was unrealistic. Not even a child would believe the story if it was told as a fictional one. In fact, he realized how childish the entire thing seemed to be.

He looked here and there in the theatre and saw no more than 20 people sitting and watching. Although the start was good and it could somehow be pulled off due to how good the acting of the characters was, the director had ruined the entire story with his poor skills, Ian thought.

The ghosts or any of the people from the cult didn’t look real. There was also a time travel scene that had been poorly explained, and Ian knew they successfully ruined the entire screenplay and the movie.

Throughout the entire movie, Ian couldn’t help but keep noticing the mistakes and things that he felt were missing or could have been better in some scenes. After a hell lot of mind-planning, the movie finally ended but before the credits, Ian and Eloise came out of the theatre.

“Now I know it isn’t a lot, but those movie tickets were a waste!” Ian said and laughed along with Eloise while walking out.

Their luck was turning pretty bad when suddenly the door of the next movie hall opened and people who completed watching La La Land came out talking loudly. Ian was stuck on his feet and was trying to not look fishy.

“Is that Ian?!” A girl screamed and the eyes of everyone turned to look at him.

“That’s Mia!! Whaaaaaa!” Everyone shouted and started gathering in front of them. Ian waved his hand without knowing what to do, and people started asking for autographs and selfies in no time.

“One selfie, please?” A blonde shouted.

“Sir, this way,” A man who was wearing black shouted above the chaos, and Ian and Eloise quickly turned to follow them. The security closed the doors in a split second while they were once again inside the lobby of the movie theatre.
