It's been a few days since the day of the ceremony, and Samuel and his co-stars were sitting in a studio in upstate London.
" Welcome to Grant Movies' Unscripted; I am Sam Moore. I am here with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. We are here to talk about our new Harry Potter film. We are going to ask some of your questions, and we are going to make up some of our own." Samuel paused for a moment and looked at the screen in front of him.
This was an interview without any host, so it was dubbed Unscripted. The show was spontaneous and accessible, making it interesting for the viewers.
" If you could play one of the adult characters in the film, who would it be and why?" He turned toward Emma first, who was sitting in the middle.
" That's really hard, wow. If there's a guy, obviously I dream of playing, um, Snape because I just think it would be really cool to play, yeah, like the bad guy, but I don't think I'd ever be as good as him." She chuckled and tried to mimic his voice.
" That's true."
" You could pull that off."
" No, I don't have that voice. Moving on, I can see myself playing Dolores. I can definitely pull that off. Great lady!"
" Absolutely."
" I can see the resemblance." They laughed, looking at each other.
" I want to know what your favorite scene is?" She turned toward Rupert to ask her own question.
" There are so many in this one. I liked all the fighting stuff with the wand and all that like in the room of requirements."
" Final scene then?"
" Often the heat on that set.." Samuel interjected.
" Yeah"
" Right."
" It felt like we were in the center of the Sun."
" It literally did." Emma chuckled.
" Lights everywhere, it was filmed on a set with loads of mirrors, and so they had to have a fireplace, I mean loads of fireplaces in that room which were reflected in every mirror. You can say that we were essentially burnt alive for three days!"
"haha"
"True." they moved to the next question.
" Is fame the way you imagined it would be when you first auditioned for the movies? Rebecca from Surrey." Samuel asked them.
" I don't know. I mean, I don't really feel sort of famous. It's just sort of recognized that I'm finding it quite hard to get my head around." Rupert answered first.
" I think we already knew that we were going to be famous when we first started it. I didn't get like now when we first auditioned. We didn't know what this fame would look like, no?" Emma commented.
" We just want to do the films; I don't think any of us were thinking that far ahead."
" No way."
" I don't think we had any idea."
" I still don't think very far ahead."
" What is the most outrageous rumor you've heard about yourself?" Rupert took the next question.
" I don't think there had been that many outrageous rumors about me. I guess, just like every week, I'm attending a different school, like there was Rugby league or Dale's. It's literally five or six different schools in which I've never even set foot in. So, it was quite amusing. And how can I not mention the films, lots of different films that apparently I'm going to be in which again I've never heard of."
" Yeah."
" Something similar happened to me too."
" I also should mention I keep being called Emily Watson, which is quite annoying. I mean, they are still doing that, ' Emily Watson at the Harry Potter premiere last night, I am like, no! Emma, come on!" She shook her head, thinking about it.
" I just read I am going to Princeton; I was like, really? Do you think I can get in? I am flattered, but let's just think rationally." Samuel followed her.
" I was going to be an oompa loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!" Rupert joked, which made Emma squeal with laughter.
" That's so good. It should have gone to you!"
" What is the most extreme thing a 'harry potter' fan has done? What is the most touching? Good question from Melissa." Emma asked the following question.
" Umm, the most extreme thing a harry potter fan had done to me was the girl; I don't know if you're aware, for one, we went to NY.." Samuel was saying when others looked at him smugly.
" You mean the girl in the towel?" Emma asked with a cheeky smile.
" No, no, we are way past that now."
" Also, this will be watched by kids, so don't mention that adventure." Rupert also chimed in with laughter.
" Why thank you, I will keep it in mind. This is who, for the whole time when we were in New York promoting the fourth film, holding a big sign saying ' Mrs. Moore is Here!!' with big, bold letters, which was fine, but what happened next was the extreme part."
" What? That's not it?"
" Do tell."
" Then she tried to hurt herself. It was when we pulled up at some traffic lights or stop lights like they say there in America, apparently. And we pulled up and stopped there, and her car pulled up next to us. Naturally, she tried to climb out of her car window and try to get in our car without touching the ground. Unfortunately for her, it was a futile attempt." Samuel told the whole story with a smile on his face.
" Did she hurt herself?" Emma asked with a concerned expression.
" I don't think so. I don't know, we drove off! aha"
""Hahaha""
" So you just left her on the pavement?"
" If you asking if we run her over, we didn't. I can attest to that as I inspected the tires."
""Hahaha"" It was a dark joke, but others couldn't help themselves.
" It wasn't a hit and run!"
" Alright! Alright!"
"hahaha," they couldn't stop laughing. This bit would probably be cut off, but who knew? It was the network's choice.
" Generally, we get really, really sweet letters from all over the world; some are bizarre, but some particularly from Japan; we get amazing letters from there which is just lovely and very, very generous."
" Also, a lot of letters from the make-a-wish foundation as well, which is amazing."
" Do you think Hermione and Ron will ultimately get together? I think we can address that with both of you." Samuel asked the last question.
" Yeah, I think so."
" We are pretty convinced."
"Throughout the series, there has been a subtle hint of it. We have to wait a bit to tell for sure." Rupert replied.
" I definitely think it's gonna happen. I am hoping it's gonna be." Emma said.
" It's really going to be awkward, though"
" Yeah, I don't even want to think about it."
" It will be fine. You will be fine; you just have to be cool about it. Will it be alright?" Samuel teased a little.
" No, hahaha," Emma started laughing.
" It's going to be strange." Rupert was red in the face.
" We have to be professional about it. I am sure after like five times of kissing you, the nervousness or the awkwardness will go away." Emma was also hiding her face ever so subtly.
Samuel was watching them with glee on his face. This was the best question they could've possibly asked.
" But one of us will probably die so," Rupert said with a straight face.
" Really? That's horrible! You rather die than have to kiss me?"
" I rather die than kiss you, that's his answer. hahaha"
"Hahaha, I obviously didn't mean it like that."
" Well, that's what we heard."
" Yeah. Thanks for it; I appreciate that."
They ended the interview on a high note. It was a fun experience interviewing one another on camera; they might do it again.
