In an instant, commotion spread.

Baron Verdin jumped.

“It’s a setup! I-I am being framed!! This is all a conspiracy!!”

“If there is clear evidence, how can it be a conspiracy? We must immediately arrest Baron Verdin and confiscate the mansion. As sister knows well, The Cult is good at hiding my evidence.”

Looking into Princess Vialentel’s blazing eyes, Faradiv said with indifference.

“Send in the Templars immediately.”

“This is ridiculous! No! What do you mean search and seizure! I, I-”

“Calm down! You’d better follow the Knights for now. If you are innocent, everything will be revealed.”

Princess Vialentel spoke back.

Baron Verdin rolled his eyes. Then a sweet scent of roses brushed the tip of his nose.

-They are trying to dump everything in your back.

-They even made fabricated proofs for it, everything is a setup.

He felt dizzy and heard someone whisper in his head. Baron Verdin looked at Vialentel.

Wasn’t the Princess someone who can throw away even her most loyal servants?

The Baron knew what happened to Benzel.

Couldn’t I be cut off like that too? Never! I’m the 4th best ranked in The Cult!

Baron Verdin thought so and put his hand in his pocket. Clasping the fallen piece of spirit tightly, power flowed into him.

“Damn it! Get out of my way!!”

A black-light sprang up as Baron Verdin shouted and reached his hand forward. Those who were hit had their flesh turned black.

“Arghh!”

“Ahhhhh!”

“Catch the Baron!”

Faradiv ordered the knights, but the Baron was faster. He jumped through the window at inhuman speed.

“Get him!”

“We must seize and search his house right now!”

Faradiv exclaimed.

“I think so too. He could run away and destroy the evidence of the mansion.”

The nobles agreed with the powerful voice of the Duchess of Brevan. Everyone had seen him run away while using strange powers right in front of their eyes.

Princess Vialentel cried out in anger.

“The Lily Knights and the Guards Knights should move immediately and search Baron Verdin’s mansion! Make sure the Templars are also dispatched!”

In the meantime, Prince Faradiv had those who were blighted by the black light quickly moved to the hospital.

‘Isn’t it too easy?’

I had no idea that Baron Verdin would react that way. He set up a few more traps together with Duke Luverne, but the plan became useless.

‘It’s strange no matter how stupid he is. It’s like he lost all reason…’

“Prince, I have to leave because I am not feeling well. The Princess also seems to be busy, so I’m going to say my farewells for now.”

The Duchess approached with her cane and greeted him.

 Faradiv nodded his head.

“I’m glad you didn’t get hurt. You are excused.”

“Thank you.”

The maid, who had supported the Duchess by her side, bowed lightly with the madam, and in that instant, a smell of roses waffled in Faradiv’s nose.

“!!”

Rose Fairy Alka.

A person who can manipulate people with scents…

Those words flashed through his mind, but he couldn’t call the Duchess who turned around.

What can I do or ask even after calling for her?

‘Anyway, I got help.’

At the same time, he felt that such a power was terrifying.

‘For now, the first card was revealed.’

It was made so that the initiative did not completely pass to the Princess. ‘Baron Verdin’ accusation was purely Faradiv’s credit.

A search and seizure of Baron Verdin’s house will yield another great gift.

‘It seems like it depends on the Duke Luverne which kind of results it will yield.’

I’m glad we were on the same side.

Faradiv, feeling a gaze, raised his head. Their eyes met with Vialentel.

He laughed softly.

Previously, Vialentel had taken the lead in fighting The Cult alone, but it is different now. Faradiv, another imperial family member, took the ball to his court.

‘Good things should be shared.’

I have no intention of letting you steer this game by yourself.

As if his will was communicated, Vialentel stared at him as if to kill him, but Faradiv secretly avoided her gaze.

There was no need to show needless confrontation.

‘Because it’s just the beginning.’

────── •❆• ──────

Nina and Randell set out to retrieve the other pieces of the Fallen Spirit King.

She met fierce opposition from everyone, but she was unwilling to make concessions.

At a time when Bellacs are out and about, everything might change in seconds, she can’t take Jean, who was a spirit contractor and the vice-commander, nor Jack.

It is a time when each one had a precious duty to cover.

So, almost half-forcing her way through, Nina and Randell crossed the border of the Telden Kingdom. Although Randell opened the portal, he was unable to move directly into the cave where the fragment was supposed to be.

“There’s a strange aura. If I open the wrong portal, our limbs might fly away.”

Randell said so, and opened a portal as close as possible. The unicorns were so conspicuous that the two crossed the portal in simple outfits.

“Wow-“

Nina let out an exclamation.

The sunset was setting in Telden and the sky was beyond amazing.

The colors of gold, scarlet, pink, and blue clouds melted in the scenery, capturing the eyes with intense beauty.

“It’s awesome. The sky is so pretty.”

Nina pointed to the sky and turned to Randell. He nodded his head with a bewitched face while he watched Nina’s shimmering silvery-white hair gleam a sky-blue hue.

Randell was out of breath.

In her golden eyes, the crimson of the sunset, pearl-like silvery light, and the dark twilight swirled and sparkled.

“Randell?”

Nina tilted her head as he stared blankly at her.

“No, it’s just that I have never seen anything so beautiful.”

She smiled broadly at his words.

“Right? I’ve never seen such an amazing sky before either. I think Telden seems to be more vivid and cleaner than Ebensel.”

It was the first time she came out of the Empire, so everything was amazing and strange.

The mountainous area of Telden consisted of steep mountains. If one throws themselves from above, they will fall rather than roll. The atmosphere was completely different from that of Ebensel as they could see the mountains covered with perennial snow everywhere.

“There is definitely a time difference. It’s still afternoon for Ebensel…”

Nina murmured and looked at the ecstatic sunset before turning her gaze away. There was a sheer cliff, and in the distance, the top of a mountain covered in ice caps could be seen.

Her shoulders slumped.

“I think we have to climb to the peak.”

“I’m already sick and tired of it.”

What do you mean by mountain climbing?

Randell had a disgusted face, but there was no other way. There was no other choice but to walk one step at a time.

Two people ended up unintentionally hiking the cliff. While Nina walked up as if flying, Randell’s pace grew slower and slower.

Eventually, Nina looked back at him and asked.

“I can give you a piggyback ride.”

“…When it gets really hard.”

He didn’t say no.

The sun went down in a flash because it was a mountain. They deliberately chose the evening so as not to be noticed by people, but climbing the mountain at night was extremely difficult.

Moreover, when the uphill road reached a point where it was no longer a road but a rock climbing adventure, the pair stopped.

Nina folded her arms and turned to Randell. The two, dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for mountaineering, faced each other, and Randell surrendered in the end.

“Do whatever you want.”

“Should I hug you or do you prefer a piggyback?”

When Nina asked a mischievous question, Randell sighed, “The comfortable one.”.

Nina pondered for a moment, then made a chair with the ropes and carried him around.

She climbed the mountain by herself, and after she made sure it was safe, she called the North Wind.

She gave the ground a kick and in an instant, her body shot up.
