“That’s right……”

Daily life.

Change.

‘It changed.’

Nina thought of Adrian. Something changed in her relationship with him.

She was afraid to change.

‘But…’

Randell, who was wearing his glasses, waited patiently for Nina, who was contemplating.

“I was worried that a change would come. If we change, the stable relationship we have now will break down.”

“Hmm, so?”

“It’s so comfortable and nice right now, but if it changes… it’s a bit scary, isn’t it?”

“Are you scared?”

“Yes. Should I say I’m a little anxious? I know the stepping-stone under my feet right now, is solid. But what if the next stone shakes?”

As I spoke, I seemed to understand why I was anxious. So I laughed

Yes, I was afraid of that.

If my relationship with Adrian changes, I have to throw away all the stability we’ve had so far and build a new relationship, and there was always an anxiety in that new kind of relationship.

“I must have wanted to stay away from the change, even if it’s a little bit, I guess.”

Nina let out a small whisper to him, and Randell looked at Nina quietly.

Her golden eyes twinkled.

The eyes received from the Spirit of The Sun, look a normal golden color at first glance, but when you look closely, they are not.

A swirling golden light seems to move inside, it also seemed to glow as if corona bursts occurred in moments.

They were literally the eyes of the sun.

“So, did you find the answer?”

When he asked, Nina grinned.

“There was no need to be anxious.”

Randell felt somewhat disappointed. Of course, it was good that she wasn’t anxious anymore.

It was a pleasure.

But Randell swallowed a bitter taste.

Nina realized after spitting those words out herself. She finally understood.

‘Yes.’

She didn’t have to be anxious.

‘It was like that in my dreams too. I was actually anxious even though I said I knew that he also loved me. I was nervous, so I cried. It hurts. Even after waking up from the dream.’

As a special person, as a friend, Adrian and she were perfect. She thought she couldn’t hope for more.

‘I thought, If I went any further, everything might collapse because I had to throw away the stable foundation we had built.”

But it wasn’t.

From the moment that Adrian hugged her first. She knew he wouldn’t hurt her.

He would give up anything for her.

The change opened a new door, and there was nothing to be anxious about, except for the excitement and pleasure the new relationship would bring.

‘And…….’

She thought there was no more.

Nina thought there was nothing more their relationship could give, but that was not the case, and now, only anticipation was felt.

Watching Nina finally clear her mind, Randell sighed making her raise her head.

“Nina.”

“Yes?”

Randell cast his gaze at the celestial sphere. A large star in the center rotates with a beautiful light.

“I won’t be your daily life.”

Nina opened her mouth slightly and he smiled faintly at her.

“I can’t be your sun and moon. I also won’t be one of the countless stars.”

He cannot be the sun that rises and sets every day.

Because that’s not his place.

So what should he do? Where is his place?

A sudden wave of loneliness swept through him.

He was free from the island, from his companions, from everything that binds him. Does freedom come with loneliness? After all, could he never find his place anywhere?

Randell was lost in his thoughts. Looking at his side face, Nina was worried.

Is it because he’s tired of seeing the sun, moon, and stars every day? But if you can’t see it at all, wouldn’t it be sad?

‘Ah.’

“Then make it a non-routine everyday life.”

Nina said abruptly.

As Randell turned to her, Nina rose from her seat. She reached out her fingertips and created a little light. That little light jumped over the celestial sphere and started spinning in a large orbit.

“Can’t you be a comet?”

Randell’s eyes widened at Nina’s words.

He stared blankly at the small light that made a huge trajectory with incredible speed.

The light, which seemed to have disappeared far away, approached the star in the center as if it was being pulled, passing by as if it was about to collide, and then moved away again.

“……Can’t you…?”

Nina hesitated, and Randell looked at her.

Just by looking at her face, he seemed to know what she was thinking. ‘Did I make a difficult request?’ It was such a face. Randell laughed.

He laughed out loud at her and grabbed her arm. Nina, who was dragged lightly, looked down at him.

Randell took off his glasses with one hand and put them down.

“That’s right. Yes, that would be nice.”

Because it is unusual, people gather to watch it, but in reality, it was also daily life, because comets return at set periods of time.

Randell looked at Nina.

“Tell me when you get bored of your daily life.”

When you get tired of the sun, when you get fed up with the moon, when your interest in countless stars drops.

“Then I’ll snatch you up and take you out on an unconventional adventure. To a place you’ve never been, to the end of the world.”

Across the orbit of all starts, to where the sun’s rays do not reach.

I will always be your extraordinary.

“Because I am your wizard.”

He lightly kissed the back of her hand making Nina rub her cheeks feeling a little shy. She was subtly overjoyed when her proposal was accepted by a picky friend.

“If Randell behaves the way you are now, you would have more friends.”

“I don’t need more friends.”

“Sounds like you do.”

“There is no one like you.”

Nina frowned at his words. Of course, she does accept his abrasive side quite well. As Kirill said, it could be a specialty of hers. But she’s supposed to be the start, what if he’s already done making friends?

“Meet more people, a variety of them.”

Randell pressed her lips together with his gathered fingers.

“Nagger.” (Randell)

Nina opened her eyes. Hey, I’m thinking of you, why are you calling this nagging?

“I.” (Randell)

Randell shut his mouth before finishing his words. Nina removed his hand and asked.

“What is it?”

“Nina La Dell.”

When he finished with her name, Nina had a sullen expression on her face. He couldn’t help but laugh again. He snickered, picked up the glasses, stretched out his legs, and put them on Nina.

The most precious thing in his life, the most precious person.

One you is enough.

Slowly looking into her eyes, he whispered after enjoying her bewildered expression.

“I won’t tell you.”

────── •❆• ──────

The sun was hot, but the heat subsided.

The Duke of Luverne was still staying in the townhouse, although he would normally return to the Silver lakeside as autumn approached.

Finally, away from the heat, Nina became even more energetic.

Her hair, which Adrian had trimmed, was now about the size of her shoulder blades. When she forked it in lower pigtails, the tip of her hair curled inward, drawing a cute curve.

In the meantime, the Dark Knights at the Silver Lake and the Knights remaining in the capital changed places.

It was a shift taking into account fatigue.

Thanks to Charlotte’s performance and the evidence brought by the Prince, it gave both sides of the power stuggle strength to socialize equally.

He seized information about the Cult from the Baron, raided the laboratory, and arrested a lot of pagans.

“But I can’t find any other of the three Lawmakers.”

After taking a moment, Faradiv said so and made a serious face.

At first glance, it seems that they are winning, but the actual heads were not caught.

Meanwhile, preparations for Fiona’s appearance were progressing steadily. Benzel was being stabbed to and fro by Kirill to make sure his body had fully recovered.

In fact, no one knew if Kirill was testing for health or something else.

Nina was relaxing while enjoying tea on the terrace, resting and recovering her energy in the mild sunshine like a blade being sharpened in the fire. It was a much waited free time.

For Nina, who hated the heat, this kind of weather was like gold.

Sitting in the sun like a purring cat, she heard the sound of footsteps breaking through the bushes. It was light and cheerful, like the sound of a child’s feet, and at the same time, it smelled like roses.

Nina turned her gaze. Between the garden’s bed flowers stood a girl dressed in fancy clothes.

The inside of her bonnet was filled with lace in tiny bits and pieces. The dress she wore was also layered as if her skirt was a rose turned upside down, but it was only about the length of her shin.

Silk socks and silver shoes.

Dark pink hair.

She grinned and grabbed the hem of her skirt with both hands, stretched one leg out, and bent her other knee. It was not the Ebensel Empire, but the Akara Kingdom greeting.

“Greetings to Nina, the Knight of the Sun and Winter, the protege of the Great Spirit.”
