The battle that followed was heroically fierce. Jean honestly thought they should have brought in at least one minstrel.

Shouldn’t someone leave this battle as a song?

“Even thinking about it now, I feel like throwing up.”

Jean made a disgusted face while thinking about how he almost died several times.

“I was most worried about it running away.”

At Adrian’s words, Nina nodded her head.

Because winged ones only need to hit the enemies a few times when they are at a disadvantage and run high and far away.

It was a fight that lasted 4 nights and 5 days.

Forget about sleeping, meals were also something impossible to have. They would have probably died if it wasn’t for the spirits.

Jean thought so.

“You should thank Kirill.”

If it wasn’t for her medicine, Jean would have died because of a lack of energy in the middle.

He literally put the potion in his mouth while fighting.

The most worrisome thing about the prolonged battle was that people might come up.

If blue lightning flashes like crazy, and monstrous roars and battle sounds can be heard all four days, everyone has no choice but to pay attention.

“But they didn’t come.”

At Jean’s words, Nina made a strange face and said.

“They’re not going up. Who’s going to climb so high while being scared out of their souls?”

“Is that so? But-.”

“We are different.”

If such a thing happened within the territory of Luverne, the Dark Knights would immediately form a line and chase after it.

But there was no law that it would be the same in other estates. Besides, who would want to send a man to a rugged mountain?

Moreover, if it was on the top of a mountain, it does not harm the civilians, so they must not want to intervene if they think it’s a fight between Bellacs.

It must have been that line of thought.

Despite Nina’s words, Jean still had a shaky face. Nina’s face alternated between the two.

“So you won, right?”

“Of course.”

Jean grinned, and Adrian nodded.

Nina stroked her face with both hands.

“But do you think I’m not a human being?”

“What are you talking about!”

Jean opened his eyes.

“Of course you are human!”

“Well…….”

Nina remembered what the director of the underground lab had said to her instead.

“Are you happy, Great Spirit?”

That’s what she said.

As if she had become the Great spirit.

‘No, that’s absurd.’

I’ve never seen it….

But there was something. Obviously, there was a relationship.

Considering her situation, whether it be transmigration or regression, it was clear that there was something about it.

‘The Great Spirit.’

God’s representative with six pairs of wings.

‘But how can I know? There was no other answer but the dreams. Can I believe in all my dreams? And if-.’

She trembled at the thought of the incident of when she was five years old, when memories of another world overwhelmed her.

What will happen to her if another memory comes rushing in like that time?

Jean looked at Adrian when Nina’s expression became strange.

‘Say something.’

He threw that kind eyes.

But Adrian waited.

Until Nina thought it through and turned to him.

As Nina’s and his gaze met, Adrian was delighted.

At least, it seems that Adrian was not out of the question in her concerns. He didn’t mind anything as long as she would discuss it with him.

“Adrian.”

“It’s okay.”

Adrian answered her call. Nina blinked her eyes and laughed, he knew that Nina knew what would come after that, so he didn’t bother to say.

Whatever she says, it means “It’s okay”.

There was no fear, no hassle, no hardship, no pain, no suffering, whatever it was.

Nina stopped her laughter and nodded.

“Yes.”

Nina turned to Jean.

“Thank you, Jean.”

“Yes, yes.”

He ate dessert and answered dryly.

Nina asked, crossing her arms.

“Therefore? Did nothing happen after he died?”

Adrian frowned and Jean’s expression darkened. Nina’s face also hardened at the unusual reaction.

“Why? What happened?”

“It was before he died. He said ‘His Grace Nodolu has already come.’

Nina swallowed her breath.

No words came out.

Then what were they doing until now? Isn’t the Cult struggling to complete the resurrection of the fallen Spirit King Nodolu?

But it has already descended?

Swallowing her breath in bewilderment, she asked.

“Then what are they doing now?”

Aren’t they supposed to destroy the world right now?

“That’s a question for me, too.”

Adrian said so and closed his eyes.

“Is it a mere bluff or is there some other purpose?”

“Well, there’s no helping it then. We do as much as we can and if it doesn’t work, it’s just over.”

Nina calmly said.

Jean finished his dessert and said.

“You think you’re going to die alone? I’ll never die alone. We all die together.”

Adrian opened his eyes and smiled bitterly.

“I don’t think it’s already time to think about the worst. Obviously, they used the word ‘descended’. Not resurrection.”

“Ah.”

Nina widened her eyes, and Jean frowned. Adrian looked at Jean and pointed to Nina.

“Like with The Sun.”

“Huh? ah!!”

Jean opened his eyes.

“Descend is akin to summoning a spirit. So, if we only get rid of the contractor.”

“It will disappear. Yes, yes.”

“The question is who the contractor is, but most likely is the High Priest.”

“At this point, why is he even feigning about it. It makes sense to find and collect the pieces of the Corrupted Spirit King. It’s like your own body I don’t understand why he didn’t try to find his body again.”

“There must have been several problems.”

Adrian asked Nina.

“You said that Miss Fiona had returned Lucrezia to her original form, didn’t she?”

“Yes, from Bellac form to human form, just before she died. She wouldn’t have been able to transform into Bellac twice.”

“I see. then.”

“Is it possible to purify a fallen spirit in that way?”

“It is very likely.”

“Huh.”

Nina nodded her head. Of course, the journey to get there will be quite long.

Adrian was lost in thought, tapping on the table.

“Well, we’ve got to finish the work now, right?”

Not knowing who was talking to whom, Nina and Jean looked at each other, but the answer came from the wrong place.

“Well, you will recognize this one.”

One of the attendants standing behind raised their head and Jean and Nina’s faces were distorted.

The two were the knight commander and the vice commander. In other words, they were in charge of the security of this mansion. But not one of the two knew that a stranger came in?

Rose petals waved in the dining room, and the rose fairy, Alka, appeared.

The servant’s appearance she had until recently was nowhere to be found, and she was now in the same splendid outfit as they had seen before.

Although the clothes she was wearing were a little different.

Alka, who held the hem of her skirt with both her hands and greeted in the Akara Kingdom style, smiled softly.

“You made quite the fuss in the Andans Mountains.”

“Did you know?”

“The rose is the queen of all flowers, and wherever flowers bloom, my eyes reach.”

At Alka’s bold words, Jean asked back, “Does that make sense?”. Nina admired it again.

When you borrow the power of a spirit, you need faith.

To believe so strongly about the meaning of the Rose spirit means that the relationship between her spirit and her was quite strong.

“The top of the mountain was covered in ice, there’s no way flowers were blooming.”

“There is a field of grass down on the base. Anyways, it was something quite awesome. To be honest…”

Alka looked at Adrian with a fed-up look. Sneaking closer and pretending to hide behind Nina’s back, she said.

“How are you two this fine?”

Nina rolled her eyes, and Jean tilted his head.

Alka pouted her lips.

“It’s darkness and shadow. You said darkness and shadows are your friends, but what do you think darkness is? It’s a peripheral fear, the root of all fear. You can’t be sane if you’re friends with something like tha- Hiyak!”

Alka’s eyes widened as the bare bonnet straps under her chin were pulled. Nina violently said.

“I’ll tell you in advance what happens if you say nonsense to my young master in front of me.”

Alka frowned.

“But you’re-.”

As she was about to speak, she took a deep breath and politely spoke.

“I didn’t mean to insult you. My apologies, Your Majesty the Duke of Luverne.”

It was a sincere apology. Adrian nodded his head lightly, only then did Nina let go of her laces.

“Really! All knights are violent!”

Alka shouted in a high voice and trimmed her bonnet, then she let out a deep sigh.

“I’m weak-hearted, so you have to be patient with me.”

‘No, it doesn’t look like that at all.’

Nina thought so, but she didn’t dare say it out of her mouth.
