Gu Ren took the pens and papers from the staff, and handed over one of each to Ye Zhi. Both of them put the paper on their palms and began to draw their path on it.
Under their command, the map gradually took shape.
They look very well-matched with their tall and slender figures.
“If I’m not mistaken, it looks like they are… drawing a map of the maze!”
“Everything feels so harmonious when they are in the same camera frame. Why didn’t I notice it before.”
Both of them had a very good memory. It didn’t take them long to draw the map.
“These two are geniuses. They came up with such a good idea so quickly. Not only that, they managed to remember their path even though they were blindfolded! Even if I was doing the maze and not being blindfolded, it would be hard for me to accomplish!”
“These two people are awesome. In comparison, Sheng Man’s group is really shameless. They wanted to take off their blindfolds to cheat their way out. The difference between them is so big.”
“Once again, I am shocked by Gu Ren and Ye Zhi’s IQ. This program should be renamed as [How Geniuses Completed the Challenge]!”
Gu Ren and Ye Zhi put the two maps together and found that both were missing the middle area of the maze. They weren’t able to find all the routes in the maze.
After some more consideration, they came to the conclusion that Gu Ren had walked almost two-thirds of the distance and Ye Zhi had walked another one-third of the distance.
Gu Ren’s finger pointed straight to a small blank area on the map: “We don’t have a map for this place.”
Gu Ren looked at Ye Zhi and said: “When the time comes, you should stand at the entrance and I will come to you.”
Ye Zhi shook her head: “I just can’t stand still. I will cover one-third of the distance.”
Gu Ren looked at Ye Zhi for a while and finally compromised, but he made a request: “Okay, but I will handle the area that hasn’t been mapped.”
Ye Zhi: “What if we still can’t meet each other?”
Gu Ren stared at Ye Zhi for a few seconds. He slowly raised his hand and pointed his slender fingers slowly at his Adam’s apple. He said meaningfully, “Just let me hear your voice.”
Wherever your voice is, I will go there.
Ye Zhi thought of the scene when they were practicing at home and she agreed at last: “OK.”
“It’s quite an amazing method. I bet that Gu Ren and Ye Zhi will succeed in their next attempt!”
“The Couple aura around Gu Ren and Ye Zhi is getting stronger and stronger. If this continues, I will end up becoming their supporter.”
After Gu Ren and Ye Zhi were ready, they entered the maze for the second time.
The two of them put on their blindfolds and plunged into darkness again. But this time, they were ready and were not bothered by it.
An imaginary map appeared in Ye Zhi’s mind. She walked forward slowly, touching the surrounding foam wall with her hand to perceive the direction.
As decided earlier, she reached the point that was one-third distance away from the entrance of the maze and did not go any further.
After standing still for a while, Ye Zhi moved the walkie-talkie to her mouth and said, “Gu Ren, I have arrived at the place we agreed upon.”
