Because of Gu Ren’s realistic acting, everyone almost thought that Gu Ren was really blind. The first photo shoot was very successful.
A few days later, the official Weibo page of [Eye] posted a first peek poster. After it was announced that Gu Ren was going to be the male lead in the movie, his fans were very much looking forward to it. They wanted to see how their idol would play in the role of a blind man.
In the poster, Gu Ren was looking ahead with no expression in his eyes. He seemed to be sad and gloomy with no trace of light in his life even though he was standing right in the sunlight.

Not long after, the film crew released a second picture. This picture was different from the previous one.
Gu Ren’s eyes were closed and his face was slightly raised upward, facing the sun. The sunlight gently fell on one side of his face, creating shadows on the other side.
The light divided Gu Ren’s face into several distinct areas. His facial features were all illuminated by the light, making him look overwhelmingly handsome. However, the area around his eyes looked darker than other areas illuminated by the light.
The encounter of light and darkness created such a strange and unique visual effect.
