Zhong Jianian came to see Liang Yin and said a few words, but it was useless.

Liang Yin then began to devote herself with the script after her divorce was settled. With less than 2 months to go, she had no time to waste.

Staying at home all this time, she studied the script, figuring out the role, looking up the historical details of that era and from time to time, she would rehearse the plot herself.

She didn’t give herself time for random thoughts and immersed her whole self in it.

On top of that, she watched the movies starring Zhou Jianchen again. As this was their first official collaboration, she wanted to understand his acting style to render him a greater extent of collaboration.

She has always been a well-planned person and habitually has everything prepared fittingly.

Knowing that she was about to join the production team, Zhong Jianian found an assistant and arranged a car for her, which Liang Yin did not refuse. She will be quite busy once she is in the team and at times, she might not be able to manage it alone. As for the car, it will make things more convenient for the assistant to drive it.

The assistant’s surnamed Tian, who worked under Zhong Jianian, is quite reliable and looks like a little girl, but is extremely diligent in her job.

Zhong Jianian originally wanted to arrange an RV for her, but she didn’t accept it as she felt it was too ostentatious.

Zhou Jianchen did call her about an assistant but quickly hung up when he learned that she had found one.

Unable to guess his thoughts, Liang Yin merely surmised that he probably overheard and kept it in mind when the director mentioned it last time.

Zhou Jianchen didn’t appear much in the public recently but Liang Yin has seen several of his news and every time he is bursting with life and looks like a male god.

At times she could see that he was really in a good mood and at times, it was just a false impression.

After watching a lot of his movies, Liang Yin can distinguish which is his true temperament and which is a performance that he brought out.

But she has never seen it in the person himself and later when they took the role photos, it was also at a staggered timing.

He had also posted two more times on Weibo. One was a photo of a long dining table with laid out cutlery on it. That was the night when he sent her home after the characters’ styling in the director’s studio and it seemed to be the birthday of the family’s old lady. The other was a photo of his assistant eating, which was obviously taken secretly by him since the assistant looked up at the camera with a big mouthful of rice and appeared bewildered. That … seemed to be the day he called her to ask if she needed an assistant.

The two Weibo posts were only photos without text. No one knew what he meant or what his mood was when he posted on Weibo. With no explanation, it just remained unsettled there, letting the comments, likes, and reposts to keep increasing before it went on hot search again.

Liang Yin seemed aware of it, but momentarily she wasn’t clear about it.

She also follows Zhou Jianchen, no one knows except Yuan Ruona.

Time flies quickly and it is soon for [Winter] to begin shooting.

On January 6th, Liang Yin packed her things and boarded the plane with her assistant. She was scheduled to join the team on the 7th but she chose to go one day earlier.

As the weather was very cold, Liang Yin wore a down-jacket and a mask, so no one recognized her for the time being.

Just as she arrived at the hotel, Zhou Jianchen called again.

“Hello?” Liang Yin didn’t know what he wanted.

“When are you planning to go to Chengsan?” Zhou Jianchen asked.

Chengshan, Chengshan Film and Television base is where they will be filming.

“I’ve arrived … “ Since Liang Yin didn’t know why he was asking this, she could only reply as it was.

Zhou Jianchen on the other end of the phone was obviously silent for a moment before he quickly replied, “Got it.”

With that, he hung up the phone again.

Not understanding his intention, Liang Yin just felt baffled.

Yet Zhou Jianchen was in a bad mood. He originally thought he could take her with him.

Knowing that she didn’t have a car and most likely taking a flight with transfers, it would be really inconvenient having only one assistant.

While he was driving directly there and didn’t have to worry about being recognized.

__  Have you found your assistant? Do you need my help?

__  Please don’t bother, I’ve already found one. Thank you.

She had said so at that time.

**********

The production team of [Winter] has already reserved two floors of the hotel and the rooms are almost similar with basic arrangements. The creative teams will stay on the upper floor and the general personnels will be on the lower floor. Since Liang Yin came early, many rooms on the upper floors were not occupied yet, hence she randomly picked one.

When she checked in, she was recognized by the front desk staff. As her name was written on her ID card, Liang Yin took her mask off.

The staff was very excited, “Is it really you? I’m so happy. I’m your fan!”

They do have strict working requirements and have seen many celebrities, but seeing their favorite idol standing in front of them, they were still excited beyond restraint.

Liang Yin was said to have come back, but no one has seen her with their own eyes.

Liang Yin, has indeed disappeared for a full five years.

Feeling a little surprised, Liang Yin soon smiled again, “Thank you.” She was a little touched and somewhat happy.

Seeing her smiling expression and listening to her words, the staff was practically going to faint with happiness and wanted to say something more, but she was, after all, still at work. So she could only hand over the room card once the registration was done and whispered cordially, “It’s great that you are coming back.”

She naturally knew what she was here for. The two reserved floors were for Chen Hua’en’s [Winter]’s production team.

Liang Yin then expressed her thanks again.

**********

It was already the next night when Zhou Jianchen arrived with both Ah Xian and Ah Zhao.

He had rather a lot of luggage and everyone’s hands were full.

Dressed in a black woolen coat, a turtleneck sweater and sunglasses, he stood there with an unsociable aura.

Ah Xian had gone to check-in and the time now was 5.30.

There is still one hour left.

Since the filming will commence tomorrow, Chen Hua’en specially invited several of them to have dinner at a nearby restaurant. He even called to ask if he could make it just now.

The check-in was quickly processed before Zhou Jianchen took the room card from Ah Xian. 2208, which was a good number.

In the past, he would arrange a separate hotel for filming to prevent harassment, but he just let it be this time.

Riding the elevator up, he quickly found the room number which was located in the inner center.

After swiping the card, Zhou Jianchen was about to open the door and go in when the sound of door opening came from behind at this moment. He turned his head subconsciously and was stunned.

Liang Yin was walking out from the opposite door.

Looking up, Liang Yin was stunned too.

It then dawned on her when she saw the two assistants behind him with the luggages.

“Are you guys staying here?” She asked.

“Yes.” Ah Xian answered on his behalf.

Liang Yin smiled, “It’s quite a coincidence.”

“Are you going to dinner too?” Looking at her, Zhou Jianchen asked.

She had dressed up with some makeup.

“Eh.” Liang Yin answered, then asked again, “Are you going?”

“I’ll go later.” Zhou Jianchen responded.

“Well, then I’ll go first. Xiao Tian is still waiting for me downstairs.” Liang Yin added.

“Okay.” Zhou Jianchen nodded.

Liang Yin walked away after she had greeted Ah Zhou and Ah Xian while Zhou Jianchen turned around to push open the door, a trace of smile somehow appeared at the corners of his mouth.

Originally, he felt that this place was a bit run-down, but now he thinks it’s still passable.

**********

Ah Zhao, who was behind him, was still somewhat worried since Brother Chen nearly gave him to Film Empress Liang previously.

__ Do you want to be Liang Yin’s assistant?

He asked as such that day.

**********

Zhou Jianchen was the one who arrived late during dinner. He had changed his clothes, which were still completely black. With the sunglasses removed, his whole face was revealed yet he appeared even more uncommunicative.

There was only one round table in the private room which seated a dozen people who were creative personnels, and they greeted him successively when seeing him come in.

For Zhou Jianchen, these are old acquaintances.

Though Zhou Jianchen’s temper is bad, his connection with others has always been indefinitely  good.

“Is our Film Emperor Zhou in the character again?” Old acquaintance, Du Yafu, was also there and habitually started to joke.

Zhou Jianchen did not deny but just sat down in the seat reserved for him.

Coincidentally, it was right next to Liang Yin.

He instinctively pulled the chair a little to the side and didn’t get closer.

He had been very busy these past two months. In order to set aside the schedule, he settled a lot of matters in a short while.

After that, he hurriedly read the script and then got into the role bit by bit.

Once he was immersed in it, it was somewhat difficult to get out.

Director Chen had already asked the waiter to serve the food while the director of photography by the side opened his mouth again with a cellphone in his hand, “Jianchen, What does the long table you posted mean? Just the photo of this table garnered 40,000 comments. This is simply … no wonder you are said to be the top massive web-traffic in the entertainment industry! They are still guessing, so why on earth are you posting this photo ah?”

On his cellphone interface happened to be the Weibo that Zhou Jianchen posted at that time.

Not expecting him to ask this question, Zhou Jianchen was momentarily stunned.

Why did he post this photo?

During dinner, he was once again urged to get married by the family’s old lady and he somehow thought that one day she could also sit and eat together on that table too.

It was the old lady’s birthday that day and also a family dinner.

That day, he saw her step out from the car alone ….

**********

Looking askance to the side, Zhou Jianchen curbed his emotions as he picked the freshly poured teacup on the table for a sip before he replied lightly, “What could it mean, I was just posting it randomly for fun.” An explanation was nevertheless given.

Everyone laughed upon hearing that as no one would expect the truth to be like this.

With an unconcerned manner, Zhou Jianchen didn’t appear to be lying at all.

But looking at him, Liang Yin felt that he didn’t seem to be telling the truth.

In the movie, when he acted out the part of ‘concealment’, he would use such an unconcerned method.

Chen Hua’en glanced at him, then retracted his gaze again.

He only opened his mouth once everyone’s laughter had subsided, “Tomorrow I am going to shoot the 43rd scene first, the one after Zhou Zhaozong reunited with Xu Mengbai, okay with that?” Saying that, he dropped his gaze on Liang Yin and Zhou Jianchen.

He had said it plainly, just like a routine notification.

Liang Yin appeared rather surprised, while Zhou Jianchen, whose head was originally lowered, looked up at once.

Neither of them expected Chen Hua’en to come up with such an arrangement first.

They have thoroughly grasped the script during these days and indeed knew what the 43rd scene is about without having to read it.

It was a kissing scene where two people reunited after a long separation and the instant outburst of Zhou Zhaozong’s suppressed emotions.
