We were walking to the place where the settlement of Kobold was located. Of course, we were gathering as we had planned, but we kept our gathering in moderation to get to the village first.

Hey, can you leave us alone?

'Gawd! (Bulbul)

The cobolts were walking behind Mr. Cruz in the forest with his cubs trailing behind him and the parent cobolts walking next to him. For some reason, when they started walking towards the settlement, the kobolds did not move away from Cruz-kun.

For some reason, the Kobolds did not move away from Cruz and his friends as they began to walk toward the village.

The reason for this, however, became clear as they approached the village. They were shivering and trembling, as were their children. The baby Kobold clung to Cruz, while the parent Kobold held a wooden stick, trembling and wary of his surroundings.

It's all right," said the parent Kobold. "Look, don't worry, Cruz and the queens are there. The ants will be easily defeated!

""WON!"

The queens barked encouragement to Kobold, and he ran out and alerted us to our surroundings.

It's been a few days since the ants attacked the village, so there probably aren't any more of them left, so I think it's safe to say that they're fine, but I was a little nervous about heading out on our own, but I'm going to do my best for the Kobolds.

'Pui', 'Cui', 'Ukikik'

Pi-chan, Mew and Woodmonkey, who had gone to reconnoiter the area where we thought the settlement was located, reported the results to me. Pee-chan scouted from the sky, Mew by ear, and Woodmonkey from the trees. The Queens had stayed behind as an escort for the Kobolds.

'From what I've heard from the kids who went scouting, it looks like there's no one in the settlement.

If there are no ants, we won't have to fight them.

Don't you have any Kurusu's friends?

"So I'm not a Kobold! But not even one of these guys' friends...

I hope you're okay.

"Kuhn.

The reason we stopped to collect and headed to the village was to find the Kobolds' people, but apparently that would be difficult. Well, thank goodness the ants were gone, but it had been days already and it would be difficult to find any clues to the Kobolds.

'So what do we do now?'

There don't seem to be any ants, so why don't we just go to the village?

Yeah, maybe Kobold will find something.

So we headed for the village.

It's kind of a wreck.

Is this a house?

I guess. We have several of the same ones.

There were several piles of trees and leaves around, all of which had been ravaged and dissolved by formic acid.

'This is going to be a pain in the ass to fix.

There are acid marks, too, so it might be difficult for the settlement.

The settlement, though, is not that large, so it was easy to go around. The result of what I saw was not burned or anything, but the way it was destroyed was so bad that there may be no way to bring it back as a settlement.

What are you guys going to do now?

Kuhn.

Mr. Cruz tries to talk to the Kobolds, but he seems too depressed at the sight of the settlement to answer.

'I think the Kobolds will have no choice but to find their friends or have them find them.

And I'm not sure I can live with them.

Are you saying goodbye to your friends, Kurusukun?

I'm saying this, but the opinion of the three of us, except for Cruz-kun, was set. Maybe the queens won't abandon the Kobolds. However, the Kobolds are very close to Cruz, so if he doesn't like it, it will be difficult.

"Well, if that's the case, do you want to come over anyway?

Apparently, Cruz-kun couldn't abandon the Kobolds either.

Please report us if you find any errors so we can fix it asap!
