An impulse he has no control of?

Was it his split personality—let's call him Crazy Fang—who did it?

This is the first time Wei Fang talked about something like this to her. Was he being serious? Wasn't he, or any of his family, aware that he has a split personality?

Although to be fair, Crazy Fang is fairly good at hiding. But not good enough to hide from her. Still, Lillie will commend him for fooling most of the people around him.

Mystery shrouds Wei Fang like a thick fog in the night. She'll have to continue observing him and find out more.

"So you're calling me Lillie now?" She verbally noted.

Wei Fang looked confused for a moment. "Ah, yes. I'm sure you wouldn't want me calling you Dora, would you?" He chuckled. "It doesn't suit you anymore."

It's him. This is the boy Lillie befriended all those years ago, Original Fang.

"You've been calling me Thea since the beginning we've seen each other again after years," Lillie wasn't ashamed to add, "much to my displeasure."

"I was?" Wei Fang tilted his head. He placed a finger under his chin, humming. "I guess so. Should I stick to Lillie, then?"

"Well enough." She resigned.

Now she's certain that it's Crazy Fang she's interacting with most of the time because he's been calling her Thea.

When they were young, Wei Fang was switching from calling her Dora and Thea. She ignored it, thinking he was just teasing her. Find authorized novels in , faster updates, better experience, Please click #!_11957027006657805/chapter-386-flip-the-switch-(part-2)_52503731979216011 for visiting.

If Original Fang doesn't know about Crazy Fang, does that mean Crazy Fang doesn't know about Original Fang?

No matter. This little revelation doesn't mean she can let her guard down even if this version of him seems to be somewhat good or friendly.

Wei Fang is, after all, a Demon. She doubts neither of his personalities doesn't know anything about his alter ego. The question is, which personality started his career as a Demon?

"So you came here for gas, huh. Are you going somewhere, or are you about to head back?"

"The latter." Lillie briefly replied. She looked behind him and at the convenience store. The sudden urge to buy a snack made her question herself.

She just ate, what the heck?

Thinking it through for a while, she ends up succ.u.mbing to the inclination. Lillie opened the back door for Storm, saying "hop in" as she beckons him.

Wei Fang waved goodbye, assuming she was leaving. He was surprised to see her parking in front of the convenience store. Remembering what he came here for initially, he jogged after her.

Lillie told Storm to wait for her in the car before getting out. It wasn't necessary for him because she'll be quick, and it's also to minimize the attention they're receiving—not that it helped since some might've recognized her already.

Thankfully, the gasoline station wasn't busy. About three cars were having their tanks filled, and two in front of the convenience store's parking space—one probably belongs to Wei Fang.

And speaking of Wei Fang.

"You need to buy something too?" Well, duh. Obviously, she's going to buy something. Step up your game, man, you're sounding stupid.

Wei Fang was mentally ridiculing himself as he followed Lillie inside the store.

"Just some snacks." Lillie left him by the counter and went through the aisles, looking at the snacks on display that can satisfy her unknown cravings.

While she searches, Wei Fang went ahead to buy a pack of cigarettes and breath mints.

Placing her basket filled with various snacks that range from sweet, savory, sour, and spicy on the counter, the cashier scanned each item.

"Here you go, miss." The cashier smiled politely, holding out her snacks that were all tucked inside a brown paper bag.

"What's the total?" Lillie asked, her card in hand.

The cashier was visibly confused. "Miss, your boyfriend already paid for everything."

Frowning, Lillie asked, "Who?"

"Um, the man you just entered with? He's waiting for you outside now." The cashier looked a bit concerned. So this young miss doesn't know that man? Oh no, what if she's being stalked?!

Lillie reassured the anxious cashier that she was alright and wasn't being stalked—or is she? She explained that Wei Fang was simply an acquaintance who decided upon himself to treat her, much to the cashier's relief.

Then she asked the cashier for the total of her items. Thanking him, she went out and strode towards Wei Fang.

"Here," She walked past him, but not before smacking a hundred dollars on his chest.

"Oof!" Wei Fang quickly caught the money before it flies off with the wind. "What was that for, Lillie?" He asked, walking behind her.

"I'm paying for my expenses, what do you think?" She opened the car door and placed the bag on the passenger seat—Storm was at the backseat, his head peeking out of the window he opened. His eyes never left his mistress' trail.

"But it's my compensation for the inconveniences I've caused you."

"Which are?"

"Uh, about the profit and earlier?"

"If it's about the profit, you can compensate by fixing the problem itself, not pay for me thinking it would change something. You think these snacks could solve everything?"

Wei Fang winced, head cast down in shame and embarrassment.

"And about earlier, I've already ignored it so there's nothing for you to work yourself up."

"But I seem to have upset you and your wolf—Storm, was it?"

"Storm was just surprised, he hates strangers."

"He's awfully protective of you, isn't he?" Wei Fang scanned the angry scratch marks the wolf etched on the door with his large, long nails. "Do I really look villainous to him?" He asked, rubbing his chin in contemplation.

"He's always been like that." She said, not confirming nor denying his question.

Storm's ears twitched as he listened to their conversation from the car.

Don't flatter him, mistress.

Storm indeed has a certain degree of dislike to humans—except for his mistress and her pack—but this man is in a whole different level of must-not-let-him-near-his-mistress-at-all-cost.

Never mind his sudden shift of aura, what's worrying was the evident interest he has in his eyes while he stares at his mistress. It's clear to him that this man was infatuated with her.

Hell no!

If Storm were to choose a mate worthy for his mistress, he would unhesitatingly pick Ethan in a heartbeat—well, getting him out of the picture is already impossible since he and his mistress already have a pup on the way—over that weirdo any time.

Storm is correct to assume that Wei Fang is infatuated with Lillie, but that was for Original Fang. The same doesn't apply to Crazy Fang.

He's insanely obsessed with her.
