Zheng Peipei was worried about Gu Siyi, so instead of doing exercises between classes, she bought a cup of milk tea for her new friend.

When she returned to the classroom, she noticed Xia Zhijun sitting in her place from the class window. He was feeding Gu Siyi chocolates. The movements were light and gentle, his eyes were as calm as the sea as he slowly fed her with great patience, seeming to bring some indescribable pleasure.

Zheng Peipei was stunned, she stood in front of the door frozen in place. This was not the Xia Zhijun she knew at all.

In her brain, Xia Zhijun was a cold, unruly boy. He was very impatient when talking to girls and didn’t like playing with them. He hated girls being next to him.

He was a nasty person with a cold attitude that made no one last around him. But now he….

Zheng Peipei turned around and walked outside to the edge of the corridor, watching the students doing exercises on the playground with blank eyes. Eventually, when everyone came up one after another, she followed the crowd into the classroom.

When she entered the classroom with the group Xia Zhijun was already back in his spot and she took this chance to give Gu Siyi the milk tea she bought her. “Here, I got this for you.”

“Thank you.” Gu Siyi said, trying to sound as grateful as possible with her sick voice.

When Gu Siyi lowered her head to drink the milk tea, Zheng Peipei carefully looked at her face under the sunlight cleaving through the glass window.

Her skin was fair and delicate, without any impurities such as acne and freckles, and there were fine hairs falling down her cheeks. Not to mention how long her eyelashes were.

The tip of her nose was small and delicate, and two small dimples were revealed when the corners of her lips were raised.

She’s pretty good-looking, but nothing out of this world, how could Xia Zhijun fall for her?

In the next physical education class, Gu Siyi felt more comfortable, and went downstairs to gather in the playground with her classmates.

After the physical education teacher introduced himself, he let everyone jog two laps to warm up. Gu Siyi took a leave of absence and sat aside.

While running, Lu Jiaye looked back frequently at Gu Siyi, who was sitting in the corner, and asked Xia Zhijun, “Is my sister uncomfortable? Today it looks like she’s not her usual self.”

Zhou Xiao answered, “She doesn’t feel well, and didn’t go to exercises between classes. Ah Jun, did you take her to the infirmary?”

Xia Zhijun coughed lightly and said, “It’s nothing too big so I didn’t.”

“I think my sister is very weak. If you find it troublesome, I will take her to the infirmary.” Lu Jiaye said.

Xia Zhijun looked at him with sharp eyes, and his voice became cold. “Don’t be nosy.”

He didn’t want Gu Siyi to explain to another boy that his aunt was there. It was enough for him to know such a private matter.

Su Han listened to their conversation and smiled on the side, “Let’s not worry about it then.”

After the warm-up, the physical education teacher of the isolation class came over and began chatting with the current teacher. The two hit it off and the girl section from both classes agreed to play a friendly badminton match.

Gu Siyi followed the other girls to the gym and sat on the bench while watching the others play badminton on the main court.

Xia Zhijun wanted to play basketball, but Lu Jiaye and Su Han couldn’t hold back their enthusiasm for watching the game, so they were left to watch it together.

The badminton game adopted a doubles system, where each class sent two girls to the field and replaced them after losing five points.

It was fine at the beginning, but the situation began to become one-sided at a certain point.

There were a few students who specialized in sports in Class 8 and they could play badminton very well. Since those two people came up, the girls in Class 6 had been beaten back one after another.

Lu Jiaye looked more and more bored by the second, “What kind of competition is it? It’s boring to watch the girls in our class. It’s boring.”

His complaints were heard by a boy from the next class, and he sneered, “Brother Lu, the girls in your class are too weak, you can’t blame us for being strong.”

Before long, more than a dozen girls in Class 6 were beaten out of the court. The eighth-class girls cheered enthusiastically from their spree.

After Zheng Peipei came off the court, she panted and sat next to Gu Siyi, spitting out, “They won the ball and even talked about it, they’re looking down on us.”

The girl standing on the court, holding a racket in her hand, watched a group of defeated opponents and smiled, “It’s too easy.”

After that, the girl ran to the coach and made her voice loud and clear, “Mr. Jiang, next time I will arrange a stronger class competition. It’s boring to win so casually.”

Gu Siyi put down the milk tea, stood up from the audience, and said loudly in a crisp voice, “Don’t worry, there are still people in our class who haven’t gone yet.”

Gu Siyi took off her jacket and walked into the arena, all eyes were on her.

Lu Jiaye was instantly excited, “Sister? Can she fight?”

“Isn’t she unwell?” Su Han said worriedly, “Can she still play?”

Xia Zhijun frowned and walked to the sports committee member Zhou Xiao, “Go and call her down.”

Zhou Xiao ran to Gu Siyi quickly and said, “Gu Siyi, you’re not feeling well, don’t compete.”

Gu Siyi raised a smile and turned back to him to show her health. “It’s okay, I’m all right.”

With that she picked up the racket and waved it around a little and taunted the opposing team. “Since I am alone, let’s play singles and a game of three points.”

She received a disdainful smile from the others before they responded, “Quick battle and quick decision? That’s okay.”

Gu Siyi bent over, stretched her legs, and said to Zhou Xiao who was on the side, “Hey, Sports Committee member, can you stand on the side and remember to cheer, okay?”

Faced with Gu Siyi’s urging, Zhou Xiao had no choice but to leave.

He returned to Xia Zhijun and said, “She said she is already well. It seems that there is indeed nothing unusual.”

After stretching out, Gu Siyi took the racket and urged them to start. “Come on.”
