Hidden from all radars and other detection systems, a submarine could be seen drifting silently deep underwater, and inside of it, a few men are currently chatting.
"Any news?" Said one of the two people who seemed in charge.
"Not yet, but things aren't looking great, tension is rising and there is a high risk of a first strike."
"The sudden destruction of many submarines and military bases isn't helping much is it."
"If it weren't for those bases getting destroyed in all countries and not targeting a specific one, a first strike would have already been launched."
"I think it won't be long before that happens, The command may even be given at any second now..."
"This is..."
"Bad."
"Very bad."
"It's been 3 days since all of this began, who is even in command now?"
"...I don't know."

"May god help us!"
But unbeknown to them, just as they were talking, their end has already drawn near as they had entered Lorien's line of sight.
"Here they are! I really hate looking for submarines, if they went any deeper under the sea even I wouldn't have been able to find them."
Shaking his head, Lorien couldn't help but complain a little bit, but even as he did that, he didn't waste any time and began using his power.
*Swish*
Instantly, a bow appeared in his left hand followed by an arrow in his right hand which he immediately put in the string and pulled back.
*Creaak*
[Dream/Reality: Erase]
Giving it the power of erasure, Lorien then released the arrow allowing it to shoot down like an asteroid.
*Swish*
Instantly piercing through the surface of the ocean, it went through layer upon layer of seawater; But even then, the arrow miraculously stayed completely unaffected by the surrounding environment as it didn't slow down or divert even a little bit.
*Puff*
In a matter of seconds, the arrow landed squarely on its mark, and the moment it did, it immediately caused it to disappear; Literally 'puffing' out of existence.
This event of course caused the crew on board to suddenly find themselves in the deep sea with nothing surrounding them to protect them.
Being nearly 1000 meters underwater, of course, wasn't the best thing that could happen to someone, as in addition to the pressure around, they had no air.
This is because things happened so quickly that none of the crew had the chance to hold in any breath before finding themselves in water, they simply weren't ready at all for this.
*Gurgle*
*Blub*
In reaction, some opened their mouths taking in a deep breath just to draw in a mouth full of salty seawater; others screamed causing the last bit of air in their lungs to get consumed; and only a few had the wit to hold in what little air they had left in them as they tried swimming up to the surface.
But considering their current location, all of their efforts are completely futile, it is absolutely impossible for them to reach the surface.
Glancing at the drowning people with the aid of his power, Lorien didn't feel any pity, after all, in the future, those people were the same ones who launched nukes with their own hands causing the death of an unknown number of people.
Even if they were just listening to orders, Such individuals aren't worthy of his pity.
So after giving them one last glance, Lorien created a rocket, stood on top of it, and then took off.
Yes! that has been Lorien's way of travel for the past 24 hours, he just got a rocket, and then sat on it.
Quick, Easy, and has the bonus of an explosive landing, it is simply the perfect method of transportation.
Imagine landing at a party using a rocket! It's the best entrance one may which for!
It's just that you'll probably be the only one to remember it as everyone else will probably turn into a corpse.
And about the way Lorien found this rocket, it's very simple, he just looked for nearby military bases, and there he found some ICBMs that he quickly analyzed, copied, and then modified using his power.
Since then he used this modified missile to travel around, and thanks to his power shielding him, it is completely undetectable by any and all forms of detection systems.
"Where was the next target again?"
"Which country's base should I choose..."
But then, just as Lorien flew for about 200 meters as he thought about his next target, he suddenly stopped noticing a blinding bright light shine from a great distance away instantly shrouding the sky.
The moment he saw it, his eyes immediately shrank and his face was filled with confusion as he recognized what it was.
"A nuke!"
"But why now?! Wasn't it supposed to begin a couple of days later?"
And to confirm his thoughts, the rocket Lorien was riding suddenly started smoking before it stopped working completely.
'An EMP? Did A nuke detonate at a high altitude?'
'Tsk, the Nukes and EMPs in this world are a bit weird, especially the EMPs, their influence shouldn't be this great..'
'They shouldn't be able to affect my rocket from that far of a distance, but here it is, doing just that!'
"Very strange..."
Shaking his head, Lorien decided not to think much about it as he contributed this problem to the rules of this world which is not something he can touch or understand for now.
But one thing he can understand is the reason for nukes going off this early as after thinking about it for a couple of moments, he already figured things out.
"It's because of me!"
"Those countries felt a threat because I destroyed most of their strategic weapons, and because they couldn't find any information, they may have contributed it to some other country."
"It appears that there is no need for me to run around anymore..."
"Whatever, there is not much of them left anyways as I have already destroyed most of them, what is left is very far from causing a true armageddon so I don't have to worry."
"Moreover, I have already analyzed and copied some nukes as I was destroying them; Now, I can easily copy and modify them as my main objective has already been achieved."
Thinking of this, Lorien waved his hand causing the rocket to get restored to normal, then, he flew away, but this time, in a different direction.
"Time to go back, There is no need to run around anymore..."
