It's been 2 Weeks since Nezuko left with Tanjiro, and from what Lorien could gather, it seems that they are planning to return to their old home in the mountain to live there for a while before moving somewhere else
Following Nezuko's departure, only two people were left living alone in the house which caused the place to feel a bit lonesome, but Saigai and Lorien quickly got used to this change, for them, it felt like they returned to the days when they had first moved in
On that same night, Lorien finally started absorbing the Dream Energy received from The Dream Trees in other cities and towns
Lorien didn't know precisely when those Trees were planted, nor did he know the size of the towns or cities they are planted in, but the amount of energy accumulated is huge, it is the largest he had ever gotten so far
In fact, It was so huge that it caused Lorien to finally reach his absorption limit
On the first day, following the absorption, Lorien's Perception Range increased from a 107m radius to 124m, this is a full 17meters expansion
But it was at that moment that Lorien was unable to absorb anymore as his body needed to 'cooldown' before it could continue absorbing
This is something Lorien had long expected since he started feeling some 'strain' each time he absorbed large amounts of energy so he didn't panic much
The following day, Lorien continued his absorption which pushed his perception range to a 142m radius, a full 18meters expansion
An 18m increase is 1 meter more than the previous 17m increase of the previous day, this increase is something that Lorien also foresaw
The stronger he gets, the higher his absorption limit gets, so to increase it all he has to do is to simply keep getting stronger, but that is not the only way
Actually, there is a way that can allow Lorien to directly remove this limit and allow him to improve his strength without such limitations
And this method is for his Ability to reach the [Rule/Law] Level, by doing so he would gain Authority over the concepts/laws of [Dream & Reality] and won't face such restrictions any longer
But this is easier said than done, currently, Lorien isn't even able to manipulate his own Source Energy, not to mention touching that level
But he wasn't discouraged by this, as he was still growing, slowly but surely, one day he will reach that level and even go beyond it
So putting this aside, the next day, Lorien continued absorbing the leftover Dream Energy, but this time his perception range only increased by 8m
This is caused by the energy finally running out, and more precisely it was because the required energy to increase his power exponentially increased
The amount of energy used in the last 8m increase was nearly double that used for the first 17m increase
But this wasn't all the improvements Lorien had in those 2 Weeks, as in the following days, he started daily absorbing the dream energy constantly obtained from different towns, not to mention that more Dream Trees from new towns got connected
All of this allowed him to achieve a great leap in strength, be it in the Soul, Physique, or Energy aspect
His Source Energy reserves increased greatly more than doubling in volume
His physical strength also improved, it is now more than twice the physical strength of Muzan Kibutsuji
As for his Dream Perception Range, after all of this, it has reached a radius of 173 meters
This is the first time Lorien had this sort of sudden increase, but he knew that this sort of improvement won't last for long as the energy required for such a thing is astronomical, and this is even more so with the needed energy for progress rising so much
Of course, this wasn't the only thing Lorien did in those past 2 Weeks, and to be more precise, all this increase in strength is actually just a side thing
Lorien's main attention was actually focused on perfecting the 'Seeds' of [Immortality] and [Physical Ability Awakening], and thankfully after a lot of hard work, he was able to achieve his goal
The first 'Seed' to get perfected was that of [Immortality], Not only did Lorien improve the lifespan aspect, but he also added the concepts of "Soul Regeneration" and "Existence Regeneration" to the 'Seed' while also improving the "Physical Regeneration" to the highest level he could
Now, if Lorien were to absorb this Seed he will immediately get a near infinite lifespan and absurd Physical Regeneration
As for the Soul & Existence Regeneration, they will start manifesting themselves only after Lorien's power reaches a certain level, but sadly he isn't exactly clear about the specifics
As for the [Physical Ability Awakening], Lorien increased the possibility of stronger talents getting awakened while making it so that those talents are the most compatible with their users
Then the rest of the time Lorien kept using his ability, giving it the order to [Perfect] this 'seed'
He didn't know exactly what it was doing, but Lorien could feel that the 'seed' kept getting more and more mysterious
This continued until Lorien felt that any further improvement may require some exorbitant levels of Energy, so as soon as he felt this he stopped
And now with his work done, Lorien has 2 'Seeds' ready for absorption
Looking at the two small, now silver mysterious 'balls' floating in front of him, Lorien couldn't wait to absorb them, he could finally obtain the fruits of his labor
But looking at them, Lorien felt hesitant on which one to begin with
And after some contemplation, he finally put aside the [Physical Ability Awakening] 'Seed', only leaving the [Immortality] 'Seed' in front of him
He wanted to absorb it first and leave the Ability Awakening for later as it was more important to him
Sitting under the Dream Tree in the backyard, Lorien took a deep breath and stretched his hand towards the mysterious silver ball
