"You won't believe what I found! This place is like paradise to me!"
With her eyes shining brightly, Saigai spoke with excitement not knowing that Lorien had already understood the situation.
Seeing her like this, Lorien didn't want to be a killjoy so he just smiled and asked
"What did you find?"
"Use your ability to see the 'doom energy' around!" said Saigai joyfully as she waited for his reaction.
"Ah!! This is!!!"
Switching perspectives, Lorien tried to act shocked as he made some exaggerated facial expressions.
But it seems that his acting skills were not up to par as the moment he started acting, Saigai quickly caught up with what was happening.
Rolling her eyes, she punched his arm lightly and questioned
"HEY!! Stop acting!! Did already know?!"
Getting discovered, Lorien didn't bother acting anymore
"Am I really that bad at acting?"
"Yes, you are! You couldn't trick a child!"
"Hmmm... Seems like I need to practice a bit more!"
"So? When did you discover it?"
"When I saw you shocked, I checked it out on my own"
"Oh! So I am still the one who discovered it first!"
Hearing this, Lorien facepalmed and looked at her speechlessly.

Not knowing how to respond to this, Lorien gave up, paused for a moment, and then changed the topic.
"This world is an apocalyptic world! That's the reason for this amount of energy"

"Yes, meaning the end of the world..."
"Does it mean this world will really end?! Should we run?"
"Umm... No, we should be safe, the end refers to the end of human civilization, not the planet itself"

Looking around at the dilapidated surroundings, Saigai couldn't help but ask
"Is there any hope for them?"

"Unless a miracle occurs, no, this should truly be the end..."
It's not that he isn't sympathetic towards the situation, it's just that trying to save them now is not worth it, the gains simply don't equal the time that will be lost and the effort that'll be made.
Understanding the current situation and the reason for the appearance of this huge amount of 'Doom' energy, Saigai also didn't know how to feel.
Even though she was happy about gaining so much energy, she wasn't comfortable seeing the end of civilization.
Unable to do anything about it, she simply decided to ignore it! as for asking Lorien to help? she didn't want to.
Throwing aside those emotions, she turned her attention toward the zombies.
"What about them? Are they some sort of demons?"
"Umm...You can call them that, it's just that they are very weak but very infectious and basically have no consciousness" Pausing for a moment he continued "You can also call them the walking dead!"
Hearing this name, she gave the zombies a deep look before responding
"Quite the apt name, but how infectious are they?"
"Just one bite can infect others, so be careful as to not get bitten by them, at least before I make an antidote.."
Listening to this, she instantly became vigilant, earlier, she didn't really care much about them as they felt very weak to her.
After explaining the essentials, Lorien decided that it was about time they walked around to explore the place and look for clues to determine what world they are in.
They also need to make a base where they'll live, either by finding a house, creating one, or modifying someplace, after all, they can't just sleep in the streets.
Looking around, he and Saigai were currently standing in a mid-sized city street, surrounded by buildings of all shapes, some were rather big while others were small.
This street is full of restaurants, coffee shops, and fashion boutiques so it is clear that it is in the middle of the city.
This combined with the street having a lot of sub-streets connecting to it made it confusing to navigate, not to mention that Lorien doesn't have any true objective in mind.
So after looking around for a couple more minutes, Lorien gave up and decided to use his trusty 'Scientifique way' to choose a direction.
'This has never failed me before! Hope it doesn't now.'
Launching his ability, a wooden stick appeared in Lorien's hand, then, he threw it into the air spinning it horizontally!
*Swish* *Swish* *Swish*
Making some noise as it spun through the air at an incredible speed, the stick soon fell to the ground, bouncing a couple of times before it stopped moving.
Seeing the stick point towards their right, Lorien and Saigai looked at each other for a moment before nodding.
"Guess that's where we are going!"
