Ignoring them for now, Lorien turned his attention to Saigai who was still killing zombies.
The average Japanese School has around 1000 to 1500 students and from what Lorien could tell, the number of survivors isn't many, so even though Saigai killed a few waves of zombies, there are still a lot left.
Seeing this, Lorien began using his power, now, he is about to kill all of those zombies at the school once and for all.
[Dream/Reality]: Erase

Meanwhile,
Inside the school, the survivors were attentively watching Lorien and Saigai's every move, just as Lorien was previously observing them, they are now doing the same thing.
"THIS??! SUPERPOWERS??!"
"So superpowers really exist?!"
"Are they heroes?"
"What is happening to this world..."
Watching Saigai's display of power, especially her manipulation of lightning, those students were dumbfounded, today is truly a weird one for them, first, zombies appeared, and now, even superpowers emerged.
"Do you think we can get superpowers?"
"I don't know..."
"Maybe.."
"I hope so.."

At the same time, just as this large group of students were watching the 'show' with relish, the other small groups were also doing the same.
"A-Are they awakened?" Said the chunky man called Hirono.
"Awakened? What is that?"
"A-According to some novels I read, after the apocalypse starts, some people gain superpowers..." Quickly responded Hirono in excitement.
"Isn't that just fiction? this isn't scientific at all..., but frankly, after zombies appeared, I don't think that means anything anymore..."
After pausing for a moment, the pink-haired girl called Saya then continued.
"At least we should be safe now..."

Meanwhile,
The purple-haired girl called Saeko was attentively watching the fight, she also kept looking at Lorien from time to time.
'I clearly felt him looking at me just now, or was it just an illusion? It felt as if I had no secrets at that moment...'
'And that girl...Is it swordsmanship or superpower...'
Just as she was deep in thoughts, the nurse next to her put a finger on her lips, titled her head, and then suddenly spoke in her usual carefree manner.
'Do we still need the keys?'

Unaware or more precisely not caring about the thoughts of those watching him, Lorien raised his hand, his power spreading as he spoke solemnly.
"Zombies, disappear!"
This time, even without a speaker, his voice spread unimpeded to the whole school, the voice reached everyone, sounding right into their souls.

And immediately afterward, all the zombies that were running toward him paused their movements, then, they suddenly turned into dust disappearing with the wind.
Moreover, the 'living' zombies weren't the only ones to disappear, even the corpses that died much earlier and were thrown everywhere vanished silently.
But this erasure isn't a normal one, it is actually Lorien using his ability to erase those zombies and turn them into Dream Energy.
If any bystander had the ability to see Dream Energy, he would notice that with every disappearing zombie, a small amount of Energy will appear in its place just to get instantly absorbed by the world!
But sadly, none of the current people watching had this ability, so all they can do now is silently observe this dreadful phenomenon in horror.
If Saigai's abilities were somewhat still understandable, then what happened just now was completely outrageous.
"This..."
Looking at the zombie corpses next to her that disappeared silently, Saeko's eyes shrank into a needle, As for Shizuka, she looked very bewildered, to say the least.
"Eh?? What happened"

Looking at the results of his work, Lorien nodded slightly, if it weren't for the improvements he made in the past year, he wouldn't have been able to accomplish such a thing.
Now, even though he used his ability and killed zombies through a medium which is 'air', using it as a way to make 'contact' with those undead, he didn't actually consume much of his Source Energy.
This is huge considering how he would previously get exhausted each time he used his ability, not to mention that affecting things through a medium consumes much more energy than normal.
Of course, the zombies being very weak and the size of the school may have also have something to do with that.
But just as he was feeling satisfied, Lorien suddenly froze in place as his face was suddenly filled with both confusion and shock.
This is mainly for two reasons, the first is because after he used his ability to erase those zombies, he actually got 'rewarded' by the world and received 'Luck'.
[Luck] is basically the [Protagonist Halo] as Lorien calls it, or at least by collecting or being born with a large amount of it, it becomes so.
And this [Luck] is exactly what Lorien has been collecting in the Demon Slayer World, because by collecting enough of it, Lorien will gain the ability to become the world's 'owner'.
The method Lorien collected [Luck] in the last world is simply by planting Dream Trees and giving energy to the world, it's a very simple exchange, [Dream Energy] for [Luck].
'What the hell is happening??!!'
'This wasn't the case in the [Demon Slayer World], all I did now is just kill zombies, why did I get rewarded?'
Completely baffled, Lorien didn't know what to think, he previously thought that he wouldn't be able to get the ownership of this world, after all, the number of humans left isn't much and the environment isn't stable enough to plant the Dream Trees and collect energy, but now, it appears that he can get [Luck] in this world using other methods.
Shaking his head, Lorien decided to put this aside, after all, he has no way to know what the 'world' is 'thinking', not to mention that as long as it is beneficial for him, then it's okay!
Moreover, he now has a much more important thing to focus on, and this thing is exactly the second reason for Lorien's confusion.

Just now, when Lorien used his ability to erase the zombies, he felt something weird, he clearly knew that there was some change but he couldn't put his finger on it.
