After spending a few hours shopping with Fang Su Jin and catching up with her, Zhang Li Xue returned home in a good mood.
She went into her room and started to hang Bai Qi’s clothes on the left side of the wardrobe. Seeing their clothes together made her feel very good.
As she was still admiring this scene, the door was pushed open and Bai Qi’s face appeared at the door.

Zhang Li Xue lay her head on his chest. “I bought some new shirts for you. I thought that I wanted to hang them on the wardrobe myself.”
It was then that Bai Qi realized that there were a few new shirts in his part of the wardrobe. He then recalled that his wife had told him that she was meeting her friend, Fang Su Jin earlier.
“You went shopping with Fang Su Jin.”
“Uh-huh.” Zhang Li Xue nodded. “I also bought some clothes for Xi Xi.”
The corner of his lips twitched when he heard his sister’s name. His wife would never forget his sister whenever she go out.
Bai Qi cupped her face with his hand and kissed her face. “Well, thank you.”
A bright smile appeared on her face when she heard his words. Zhang Li Xue tugged at his shirt and poke, “Quick. Go and check it out. See if you like it.”
“Of course, I like it. Li Xue, I love anything if it is from you.” Even if he said that Bai Qi still walked over to look at the clothes that his wife had bought for him. The shirt looked comfortable and it was up to his taste.
After letting his wife see that those shirts fit him, Bai Qi went to take a quick shower before coming out again. When he looked up, his wife was sitting in front of the mirror while pinching her cheek. He stood right behind her and rested his chin on top of her head.
Their gazes met in the mirror and a smile appeared.
“What are you doing?” Bai Qi put his hands on both her cheek and pinched them.
His action only made Zhang Li Xue upset. She turned around and looked at him with a serious look in her eyes. “Hubby, tell me. Am I gaining weight?”
Bai Qi stared at his wife for a long time, wondering if this is a trick question. “Why are you asking me this question?”
“I think I’m gaining weight.” She pinched at her cheek again. “You see, it’s getting chubbier.” Zhang Li Xue heaved a sigh and continued, “I think I should stop drinking those soups my mom fed me.”
Bai Qi leaned over and hugged his wife in his arms. “I think you’re fine just like this. It’s easier for me to hug you.”
Zhang Li Xue recalled what Fang Su Jin had said to her earlier. She looked at Bai Qi with a teasing look in her eyes. “Is it comfortable?”
“Un. Very comfortable.” As he said those words, his hand reached under her clothes to squeeze the soft part of her chest.
Zhang Li Xue stared at her husband angrily.
After getting a wedding certificate, her reserved Doctor Bai had turned into a hooligan who often finds his chance to squeeze some parts of her body.
“I’m going on a diet.”

Bai Qi pulled away and laughed when he saw the look on her face. In the end, he could not resist himself to kiss her face a few more times. “Alright. Don’t go on a diet. If you eat your soup obediently, I will take you out to play tomorrow.”
“Really?” Zhang Li Xue looked excited. But a few seconds later, her expression changed again. “Don’t you have to work?”
“I will be on my off day the day after tomorrow. We’ll depart after I return tomorrow evening,” Bai Qi said. “It will be a short trip. What do you say?”
“Just the two of us?”
“Un.” Bai Qi nodded again. “I already talked to Mom and she said she’ll be looking after Xi Xi for a day.” He played with a few strands of her hair and smiled. “What do you think?”
