598 Do Bad Things
Bai Xi Xi woke up after napping for more than an hour.
She sat up on her bed and started to look around the room with a dazed look on her face. It took her a few seconds to recall that she was on a vacation with her brother and her sister-in-law.
In the morning, she followed her sister-in-law’s friend to go fishing and she managed to catch a few fish. The biggest one was a red snapper.
Later, her brother took her back to the hotel to let her rest. He told her that they would go and play around the beach when the weather was not that hot.
As the thought came to her mind, Bai Xi Xi rolled down from the bed and walked over to the balcony. Her eyes lit up upon seeing the beach.
The water was blue and the sand was golden.
In the past, Bai Xi Xi watched the television and saw the kids playing by the beach. It seemed that collecting shells and building sand castles is a must! Thinking of playing by the sea made her excited. Moreover, her brother and sister-in-law will be with her as well.
After watching the scenery for a while, Bai Xi Xi finally came out of her room.
However, there was no one else in the living room.

Her brow furrowed.
Bai Xi Xi shifted her gaze to the closed door in front of her and guessed that her brother and sister-in-law should still be in the room, resting.
She remembered that her sister-in-law seemed a little tired after going on the fishing trip.
After thinking about it for a while, Bai Xi Xi decided to watch the television at low volume as she waited for them to come out.
Half an hour later, Bai Xi Xi finally heard some movement from the room. Soon, the door was pulled open and her brother appeared.
Their gazes met and there was a hint of surprise on Bai Qi’s face upon seeing his sister. “Xi Xi? You’re awake? Did you sleep well?”
His eyes shifted to the television.
Bai Qi realized that his little sister was watching some cartoon with the volume down. A faint smile turned on his face, knowing that his little sister did not want to disturb them resting.
Then, Bai Qi remembered their promise to take Bai Xi Xi to play by the beach later. He looked out the window and thought that in a while, it should be suitable for them to play around the beach.
“Xi Xi, you can pack your bags with your clothes first,” Bai Qi said. “Later, we will go to the beach together, alright?”
“Un.” Bai Xi Xi nodded enthusiastically. Then, she looked at her brother’s room and spoke, “Brother Bai Qi, what about my sister-in-law? Is she asleep?”
Bai Xi Xi thought that if her sister-in-law was too tired, then perhaps she should not disturb her.
Of course, Bai Qi understood what his little sister was thinking.
“Your sister-in-law is awake,” Bai Qi lied. “She should be getting ready as well. Later, we’ll head to the beach together, alright?”
Bai Xi Xi did not suspect anything. She nodded before turning to her room to get ready.
Last time, her sister-in-law bought her a new swimming suit. Bai Xi Xi was planning to wear them to the beach.
Meanwhile, Bai Qi watched as his sister returned to her room before he turned around and closed the door behind him.
Initially, he planned to go out and grab some water. Who would have thought that he would run into his little sister?
Bai Qi walked over to the bed and looked at his wife’s sleeping figure. His gaze turned warm as he saw her tired face. After watching her enough, Bai Qi finally leaned over to kiss his wife on the cheek.
His kiss made Zhang Li Xue turn her head to the other side to avoid him.
Seeing this made him laugh.
The mattress sank as he sat down. Bai Qi stretched his hand to push away a few strands of hair from his wife’s face. “Li Xue?”
“No. Don’t disturb me. I’m tired. Let me sleep for a while longer.”
His lips curled into a helpless smile.
Earlier, he had just come out from a quick shower when a certain fairy was seducing him to do bad things. The little fairy suggested that they should take the chance while they were alone. However, after they rolled down the mattress, this little fairy was blaming him for making her tired.
“Alright then. I will give you five more minutes,” Bai Qi said. “Don’t forget. We promised Xi Xi that we will take her to the beach to play.”
He did not mind taking his little sister to the beach by himself and letting his wife sleep for a while longer. However, Bai Qi knew that Zhang Li Xue would be angry if he did not wake her up.
His wife loved his little sister too much and would not bear to do anything to disappoint her.
Zhang Li Xue’s eyes snapped open as she heard the little girl’s name. She looked at her husband with her eyes wide. Then, she leaned on the bedside table to pick up her phone.
A breath of relief escaped her upon noticing that it was not too late.
Zhang Li Xue rubbed her eyes before turning to her husband again. “What about Xi Xi? Is she awake?”
“She’s already awake. Xi Xi was watching the television when I came out,” Bai Qi said. “I already told her to pack her bag. Then, we can go to the beach together.”
Zhang Li Xue wanted to alight the bed to get ready. However, before her feet would touch the ground, Bai Qi moved to her side and carried her in his arms.
“Don’t move. Since you’re too tired, I’ll carry you to the bathroom.”
Zhang Li Xue’s body was still a little sore. Therefore, she linked her arms around Bai Qi’s neck and let him carry her to the bathroom.
Once he placed her feet on the floor, Zhang Li Xue leaned over to kiss Bai Qi on the lips. “Help me to ask Yi Hai and Su Jin if they wanted to play at the beach together.”
Bai Qi ran his fingers through his wife’s hair. “Un. I know.”
