The announcer continued to speak but Ruan Meilin couldn't hear anything else.
She shook her head. "No! Xian Ge can't do this!" she spoke in her hoarse voice that didn't sound pleasant at all. "He won't punish innocent people for my mistakes."
Mu Chenyan patted her face as she told her, "If you think Shui Xian is a nice person, you're mistaken. Do you think I chose him as our family's son-in-law just for his pretty face?
