A large chunk of the mages was assembled away from the fight, and it was where the Thunder King landed with one leap. The moment when the aggro shifted away from the Tanks happened so fast that the ranged classes didn't have time to evade.

No one expected that Ivan, their veteran commander, would make such a slip. It had never happened before, and they had a hundred percent faith in him, so everyone's guards were down. Now, they suffered the consequences.

To begin with, Mages weren't fast, unlike the melee units. Some of them were in the middle of casting a spell, too busy to even notice the approaching giant, while those who did notice thought that it would target the Tanks.

A few were lucky enough to survive, all of which who had excellent map awareness and level-headed gamer minds. Unfortunately, Ivan was so shocked by his blunder that he couldn't [Teleport] on time. He died with eyes wide open and a heart full of frustration and regret.

White Unicorn lost almost fifty of their mages, as well as a few more from other classes. Their original two-hundred-strong army was reduced to a few more than a hundred.

But it wasn't just bad news. The Thunder King's legs and both its arms were nearing zero hit point. With a little more push, they could finally fight its head and body, which would finally end it once and for all.

"Tanks! Don't just stand there and do your job! Don't let the boss wipe out our magic users!"

Before the echo of Eric's shout died away, the MTs were already casting their skill to get the aggro back at them, but there was someone faster who cast a spell first, stealing the aggro to himself.

Ren released [Death's Cavalry] and four [Fires], dealing four critical hits with 1000 to 2000 damage each. He had successfully transferred the Thunder King's aggro from the mages in Ivan's group to himself.

When everyone saw who it was, Eric and Erica both released a sigh of relief. The Thunder King left the congregated mages near its foot and instead headed toward Ren, who was a good hundred meters away from them.

Ren's movements were extremely quick. From [Teleporting], attacking, and stealing the aggro, it only took him four seconds. His control and gaming sense amazed everyone.

Even Erica and Eric stopped in surprise. Could a mage really do that? How many spells had he cast in that short amount of time? How come he could cast so many at once? How come he was also quicker than a melee class unit? If his mana was any higher, maybe he could cast [Death's Cavalry] numerous times?

Erica gasped at the realization, while Eric only shook his head. Now, he was dead set on making World Conqueror their ally. They might have lost the [Monarch Sovereignty] to Ren, but befriending his group would let them gain a lot. Those gains would be worth numerous times the value of that rare staff.

Ren not only saved the lives of their leftover mages, but he also bought their Tanks time to get the aggro back onto them. With his actions, the battle resumed as normal.

When the Tanks managed to take control of the aggro once again, Ren returned to the long-range attacking units, the one led by Roger, since Ivan was dead and most players in his group were wiped out.

Roger's group didn't fare too well, either. Only ten percent of their original might was left of their unit. At the sight of Ren, Roger looked away, grumbling to himself.

After another round of fighting, the second Squadron led by Ivan, Roger, and Miguel, with Ren's help, managed to zero the Thunder King's arms and legs. With that, their job was done, but not without suffering major casualties.

From their 100-man second Squadron unit, they were only left with about twenty.

"Good work, everyone!" Eric shouted. "Second Squadron, fall back and join us after you recover! First Squadron, move out!"

The first Squadron, the main attacking unit, led by Eric with his group of Tanks, Erica with the mages, and Serine with the melee units, all took the vanguard. Thanks to Ren's help, the first Squadron didn't have to move out early and managed to retain their health and thus, increase their chances of killing the boss.

In their past attempts, before they could zero the Thunder King's limbs, all of their members were already wiped out. They had never even faced the Thunder King's Torso and Head for a final showdown.

With full HP and MP, the first squadron rained spells and attacks upon the Thunder King's last remaining sections. The Thunder King's torso was wide enough for their spells to reach, but the same couldn't be said for the head, so they used machines to attack it as planned.

Ren was amazed to see that all of the Animist class in White Unicorns already had a beast companion. They used their companion beasts as mounts to climb and flew all the way to the Thunder King's head and attacked it directly with their weapons.

Among the beasts, the one that stood out the most was Serine's. Hers had the fluffy wings of a bird with a long neck like a wyvern and a head like a dragon with a beak of a bird. It also had colorful feathers, a tail, and ears that fluttered like a phoenix in the sky.

It was still a baby, but it had the size of a small elephant. And even without using [Monocle], with just his passive skill, [All Knowing], Ren already knew its information with a will of his mind. It was a Dragon Birdbeaks Mount, a rare beast that could only be found in the high snowy mountains.

Despite their cute face, wonderful feathers, and beautiful exterior, the Dragon Birdbeaks were aggressive creatures and didn't take kindly to strangers and other races.

Ren bet that White Unicorns must have bought it from an auction house while it was still an egg.
