“I guess the slow crab-san can’t keep up with me?”
I smirk, and when I’m right in front of mercenary crab’s head, I take a big flying leap and swing his mace as hard as he can.

Using my entire body, I swing my mace down on mercenary crab. With a gurgle, I dent mercenary crab’s head and shake its body.
Mercenary crab stops moving slightly after receiving the [Brain Shaker] and shakes its body.

A wind-slashing sound was heard. That was all. It would have seemed to a normal person that something had just passed by.
But Mashiro had drawn his sword, and there was nothing left but his lingering spirit.
Then mercenary crab’s huge body cracked open, and fell to the beach, scattering crabmeat.

Mashiro smiles, snapping the sword into its sheath, not a speck of dirt or cloudiness on it.
Not even a shadow is cast on the ground, and even after defeating mercenary crab that looks like a lump of metal, Mashiro doesn’t act all high and mighty, turning his pretty, girlish face into a smile.
