Chapter 364: Path of Abyssal Night

Hovering off the ground, I soared to the vibrant skies, showered in light. Feeling the icy mist of the clouds against my skin, I shivered at the cold piercing my bones. Everything about myself was different. I had not noticed it before due to my low Vital Qi, but I was different.
My brain was flowing fast, almost too fast, with no signs of slowing. Seconds began to seem like years as I soared through the clouds. My very skin began to grow even more sensitive before a resilient aura began rippling from my pores.
It was strange and nothing like demonic qi, that held a sinful aura nor abyssal energy that appeared cold and untouched. This energy was different, carrying only a singular intent, destruction. It was black in nature, growing darker the longer I remained within the air.
Holding my breath, I could feel my vital qi beginning to be drained. Growing paler by the second, I tumbled from the azure skies like a falling star.
Gritting my teeth, my vision began to fail me, and my lungs grew strained.
"Fucking Hell!!!!!" I angrily screamed, pushing the last of my oxygen from my lungs.
Am I not some higher being? Why the Hell do I even need to breathe? What kind of backward shit is this?
Plummeting towards the ground, I continued to curse as my body crashed like a rocket.

Shattering the earth, I groaned in annoyance. My body, while seemingly weak, was still within the Realm of Dark Star.
"I'm going to kill whoever did this shit to me!" I muttered beneath my breath, covered in debris. SPitting the gravel from my mouth, a flare of demonic qi erupted for me, blasting sending the rubble flying. "What the Hell is going on? Why are my abilities activating on their own? Why is my mind sharper?"
Resting upon the rubble, I could feel the vital qi slowly beginning to dwindle down till my very muckles began to shrivel. Releasing a helpless sigh, I gave a silent prayer to myself. Feeling like my life was coming to an end, I was somewhat saddened, to put it simply. Maybe it was for Lilith, but I believed it was more than that.
Losing my eyesight from Vital Qi deviation, I hummed as my consciousness began to fade. Closing my eyes, I smiled, feeling her Will taking me into her arms.
"The Path of The Abyss shall only ascend till the blood of the ONE fades. He who rises, from the first blood, shall perish to be reborn as the First of the Second." The ethereal voice of Lilith rang within my mind without emotions. "So is the Path of Abyssal Night. May thy path be granted by the Will of The All, and The ONE"
Opening my eyes, an omnipotent surge of untamed energy began to fill my body. Welcoming such god-like vital power, I screamed as blood exploded from every pore within my body. Bearing my fangs, tears began to flow without my control as a stream of text began to flow within my mind.
"The Mantra of Abyssal Night, Written by The All, and The One." Hung within my mind like a banner gripping my very fiber.
"They are awaiting you, Arsene Snow. A price was paid for your revival and our intervention. You wish to be my chosen? Then rise to the price that was taken. Use our gift well, for it was birth from the Blood of the ALL, the Blood of the One, and the blood of the Night." An all-powerful voice echoed, shattering my very mind, sending my very thoughts in a jumble of endless chaos.
Spewing another mouthful of blood, I groaned as my very Dantian began to wither away, while at the same time, a new energy began to take its place. It was mysterious like Darkness, Dark as the Hells, and profound like the heavens. Blinding by its captivating radiance, I finally understood.
Lillith's body cultivation, my Darkness, and the mantra given to me by Bael had all fused into one due to my adaptation. The endless eons that had passed had allowed time for this. That was why my appearance had changed, why my vital qi was so low. My body was constantly trying to mend the correction this new path had brought.
"Path of Abyssal Night," I metallically muttered, groaning as I felt my muscles growing tight by the hour. I could feel an inhuman amount of infinite power flowing throughout my body.
Chuckling, I ignored the pain, shooting my hot gaze upon the vast expanse. "Till we meet again," I spoke with a heavy conviction, finally getting a picture of what it had taken to revive me. I finally understood.

"Is this divinity?" I muttered to myself, dismissing the very words that echoed from my lips. It was foolish, but I understood this to be nothing more than a Qi holding properties of Divinity.
Waving my palm, the blood upon my body vanished remain my milky skin the glittered under the stars of Night. No homo, but I would do me... No homo... you know what? It was 2020 when I died. Who cares?! Homo it is! I am fucking sexy!
