The spirit beasts that Ajax sent didn't take much longer before they started encountering the demons who were trying to convert the regular spirit beasts into the demonic spirit beasts.
Compared to the demons who were further divided from their 10000 demon men army, the spirit beasts were easily able to fight them.
The 1000 or so demons were not able to stop the incoming spirit beast army as they followed a particular path to clear the middle section.
The left side of the middle section of the cursed wilderness was cleared by the Storm army and the Anubis army that was led by the stormy octopus and the Winged Anubis respectively.
The right side was covered by the Diamond army and the Wyvern army that were leaders by the Diamond centaur and Nameless cultivator.
As for the center was taken care of by the Primitive ape king and the thousand battle beasts that were strongest among all the armies under Ajax.
As they moved forward, all the armies spread wider and wider in the area and eventually became a straight line that killed the demons that they encounter from the edge of the middle section to the outer section.

The demons were trained in such a way that if there was an overwhelming opponent that they could not defeat, they had to self-destruct themselves and kill as many opponents as possible.
