It hadn't been more than 24 hours since last night's summons.

The last night memory was still fresh in his mind, the middle-aged man in front of him was kneeling in front of him with tears, he was so excited that he could not control himself.

But the current Byron was completely different, with a gentle smile and even had a kind look, Shen Yi could hardly imagine it would appear on his face.

He was dressed like a college professor in the traditional impression of people, with a silver-gray coat, a book, and a coffee cup in his hand, only a pair of glasses missing.

When he first encountered him in the cafe, he was filled with maturity and calmness, and his personality was described as aristocratic.

Byron still had a different kind of feeling, he had the maturity and handsomeness of a middle-aged man, but his temperament was more gentle, yes it was more like that of a normal person.

He almost thought that the other party was not Byron, but his brother, but reason told him this was unlikely.

But one thing was unsure, that was whether Byron's sudden appearance here was intentional or merely accidental.

Scratching his face, he calmly said. "I've gotten a lot better, and it just so happens that someone asked me to meet in the school's library, so I came."

Shen Yi looked slightly towards the ground and said with a little uncomfortableness. "Uh, as for who exactly asked me out, teacher, you don’t ask me."

The reason he found it was simple and plain, that was today he had an appointment with a girl.

He really couldn't think of any other reason that would make a sick young man run over on a stormy day.

An understanding smile appeared on Byron's face and he nodded. "Yeah, but I think it's better for people with a fever to stay out on rainy days, especially these current heavy rain… you're also interested in mystics?"

With a gentle smile, Byron casually pointed toward the bookshelf beside Shen Yi.

Shen Yi nodded and said. "I think mysticism books are very interesting, even though I know it's fake, but I still want to read it, just like reading a story."

Byron laughed and took a closer look at 'The Language of Silence', which Shen Yi had just put down.

"Don't dwell on the illusory things, you are not serious at all in my math class."

Shen Yi opened his mouth, wanting to complain about the wizard but he forcibly held it back.

Moving his feet outside from the row, he said. "Teacher, the library will be closed soon, so I'll go first."

Byron didn't stop him, just nodded: "Just a minute, I’ll go with you."

Shen Yi's heart wanted to say no very much but still nodded with a smile.

"Okay."

The sound of their double footsteps in the silent and empty library was extremely obvious as they walked downstairs.

Arriving on the first floor, Byron suddenly halted on his steps, turned his face to him, and gently said. "Wait a minute here, I'm going to go put my things down in the active room, just a minute."

Shen Yi nodded and did say anything.

"Good."

Leaving his side Byron walked to a closed room on the first floor.

While staring at that room Shen Yi frantically thought in his mind.

Byron's status in the society was likely to be that of the university's mathematics teacher, he could be an ordinary lecturer or possibly a professor in service, which he could almost confirm.

The bus that Byron's assistant got on at that time was the only bus there that could go directly to the Imperial Academy of Beland. She was most likely a student of this school and might have a close relationship with Byron.

That being the case, it was evident why he and his assistants were able to travel in and out of the city with ease.

As an experienced professor at a renowned university, he would naturally have connections with the elite.

Before he could process his thoughts, Byron came out of the activity room, the coffee cup and books were gone, replaced by a dark umbrella in his hand.

"Let's go." Byron said calmly.

Upon reaching the entrance of the library door, Shen Yi, who was dressed in a full raincoat walked directly into the rain, while Byron held up the black umbrella and opened it while following up.

~Why does he still wear a coat in this weather?

Shen Yi did not dare to open his mouth to ask, in case Arthur had asked this question before, wouldn't it immediately reveal his identity.

He set his mind to cut down on talking and leave quickly.

Byron's expression remained unchanged, as if he could see his doubts, he explained with a smile. "People and their physiques cannot be generalized, I was just born with a special fear of cold."

Shen Yi nodded and didn't say anything more.

He recalled that the book he flipped through in the afternoon had mentioned - "The abnormal state of the transcendent is mostly a consequence of practicing invisible arts and using relics."

~Are you afraid of the cold because of some rule that costs you?

In case if he was paying what category he was, whether a long-term, a short-term, a cyclical price, or a constant price.

He didn't understand the cost mechanism of the Invisible Art and the Mysterious Relic, either, since he did not feel that he had paid any cost for using the two Mysterious Relics.
