Chapter 754: The Old Man’s Ultimatum Part 2

Kana's eyes turned red. She would never leave her babies behind. She was just worried about her babies and grandbabies. When the old man saw that Kana was about to cry, his heart softened a bit, and waved his hand, undoing the restraints on her. "Look, Kana, I would never do anything that would turn badly for you or your children. I have broken my own laws and have stepped in time and time again to make sure you were safe. I have watched you grow over and over again, and in all your lives, this is the first time you have ever had a halfway decent life. I want you and your family to grow strong because once those in Aurora find out about you. You will have to deal with some of the bigger powers. You will need the power to stand against them. I know I am pushing my own selfishness on you, but it is for the greater good of everyone in existence."

Kana really did not understand what the old man was saying, but she had already promised she would become powerful and reach Aurora. She bit her lip and looked at her babies, that were crouching down in pain. She clenched her fists and watched on. If anything, since she could not reduce the pain for them, as Bell's mother and Tim and Sara's grandmother, she would watch on without blinking.

Creige went to her side and put his arm around Kana's shoulder, pulling her close. He used his big hand to rub her head. He just wanted her to know that he was at her side. He did not like how the old man handled things, but he had no choice but to admit that the old man is probably the only one who could handle Kana in such a way. Creige hated the fact that the old man knew his beloved better than himself. He knew how to deal with her obsessions over her kids. But he also saw nothing wrong with a mother wanting to protect her babies.

As time ticked by, Bell, Tim, and Sara's groans of pain slowly subsided. The old man nodded his head in satisfaction. "You three will now be able to drink the blood of demonic beasts and other cultivators. The more blood you drink, the more powerful you will become. If I left you as you were, you would not be able to drink demonic beast's blood and would have had to slaughter millions of cultivators to become powerful enough to even leave the mortal realm of this world. I put a few protection spells on the three of you. I will be transporting you to a forest full of demonic beasts far from here. When you reach the core formation realm, the protection spells will disappear. You will need to learn to survive until that time."

The old man waved his hand, and three rings appeared. "These rings are all full of daily necessities. It is enough to last you one hundred years. I will give you three days to spend with Kana, and then I will send you all to your training ground."

"What? They can't…" Kana wanted to protest but quickly shut up when the old man glared at her. "They have to work harder than everyone else as they have the least amount of combat power. Don't worry. Once they reach the core formation realm, I will bring them back to your side. The place they are going is a place that no cultivator is able to step foot into as it is a place sealed off from the rest of the world. As they are vampires and immortal to begin with, they will not die easily. The protection they are getting is to protect their life just in case. "

The old man let out a sigh and continued: "So make use of these three days and spend time with them."

"Okay…." Kana was sad that Bell and her grandbabies were going to be sent away, but she knew she had no say in the matter. She bit her lip and ran over to Bell and her kids and wrapped her arms around them.

"As for the rest of you, everyone but the little elementals and Angelica will be going to Kana's sect. The little elementals, you should make use of this time to find the elements of this world and absorb their power. The rich spiritual qi based elements will be very useful to you all. And Angelica…." The old man scratched his head. Angelica, out of everyone, was the biggest pain. Her control over the soul even scared him. If she rose up to be a powerhouse in Aurora, she would have no match under Eden. "You will need to continue your work in the land of the dead. But there is a soul realm here where you can cultivate. It's a place where the souls of this world that do not cross over to the land of the dead go. It will be a perfect place to get a cultivation method that will allow you to expand your soul abilities."

"Oh? A soul world? Sounds interesting." Angelica was truly intrigued.

"But let me warn you. I will be restricting your soul abilities while in the soul realm. We can not throw this world's soul realm off balance. But you can regain your powers through cultivation. Once you leave the soul realm, you will be able to tell the difference right away on how powerful you are becoming." The old man had no choice but to restrict Angelica in the soul realm, or she would never grow stronger.

"Ummm, what about me? I mean. I am kind of different from the others…." Rain was confused as to what she would be doing since she was now a spirit.

"You will cultivate as normal. It will be good for you to learn from scratch and begin refining your swordplay once more. And lastly…." The old man looked at Yana with a bit of wariness. "Yana, don't start a massacre if you can help it…. Even with your powers restricted, your sword skills will still be there. So do not go on some kind of training trip and begin slaughtering everyone you come across. You never know if you will anger some powerful family and end up being hunted down for hundreds of years."

Yana pursed her lips as she mumbled: "Not like it wouldn't be the first time…"
