Yuria teared up, seeing her father's complicated expression, and hugged him as she said, "Papa, don't be sad. Even if one day I get married to Damien, we will still come and visit you always."
King Krisen nodded with a soft smile, "I know...it's just that I am not used to this. Don't worry. I will be alright soon. It's just that things happened too fast. I never expected you to find a man this soon, and even if it was Maximus, I expected it to take some more years till you were mature enough to be someone's wife. But now I guess you are ready after everything that has happened."
Yuria happily nodded and felt sad as well that she would be seeing less of her father from now on though she knew this was what every girl has to go through when leaving their family.
Damien saw how the father and daughter duo were trying to come to terms with not seeing each other and sighed.
He stepped forward and said, "Your Majesty need not worry. After we marry each other for real, we will try to come as frequently as possible. By then, everything should be peaceful in this world."
"Good to hear that," King Krisen said with a warm smile and patted Yuria, "It's time, child. Papa will miss you. Now go with your man and live a happier life. Be careful and safe as well.
