However, it immediately lost its freedom of movement as an invisible force extended from the jet-black Origin Seed towards the azure Origin Seed, making it pull towards itself.
The azure Origin Seed immediately got pulled towards the jet-black Origin Seed, but the moment it got close to it, a tiny burst of ethereal energy occurred within Damien's ethereal core, sending the entire ethereal energy in Damien's body into disarray.
"Uggh!" Damien let out a painful groan as he suddenly coughed out blood, his expression extremely contorted in pain, feeling worried if things were going wrong in his ethereal core, especially after that frightening tiny burst of ethereal energy that seemed like a small explosion.
He immediately lost sense of his ethereal core and whatever was going on inside it, and his entire body was violently shaking and shivering, his muscles spasming.
Luna subtly summoned Valentina outside from Damien's soul space just to be safe so that she doesn't suffer any collateral damage in the off chance.
However, Valentina had no idea what was going on and was in deep slumber in her cute cat form as she continued to rest on Luna's hand, and she unconsciously began to stroke Valentina's soft fur, who seemed very comfy under Luna's caress.
But Luna's focus was still on Damien, observing each and every change in his body while Kalypso was biting her nails in nervousness, still feeling worried for her Master. She already experienced how close she was to seeing her Master lose his life by fighting Yohr, and that was quite a harrowing experience for her considering she was already blaming herself for not being able to protect her previous Master as well.
Damien had no idea what was happening inside his ethereal core, but he could feel his entire body slowly becoming colder and colder to the point his teeth were chattering, his arms and legs shivering as if he was suffering from hypothermia, and even the surface temperature of his body was no different than ice cold.
It was as if he was this close to becoming a body of ice though no visible changes were taking place on his body.
He felt as if his skin was cracking, his bones creaking, and his muscles becoming stiffer and stiffer to the point he was feeling numb all over.
Not long after, he was feeling so cold, he felt as if he was dropped into an icy hell for eternity where a large terrifying pair of azure eyes were looking down at him in the middle of all this darkness, making him feel chills passing through his entire body.
Those azure eyes made him feel as if his tiny little life was going to crumble under its heavy gaze, and to his shock, he saw an icy layer slowly covering his entire body, freezing whatever it was covering starting from his legs, his torso, his arms as it spread over to his head.
