"Lily!" Yuria's heart thumped as she, Reva, and Valentina desperately tried to free themselves from his hold to stop him from killing Lily.
It seems like this man has realized that Lily's power could be a possible threat and was now trying to eliminate her before she could become one.
Tears dripped down Lily's eyes, thinking that she won't be able to see Damien anymore while feeling life being slowly choked out of her.

Suddenly, Lily felt the pressure around her neck disappear when an ethereal attack struck the place where the man was standing.

The man suddenly transformed into his beast form, turning into a twenty meters long ferocious snake. It hissed in rage upon being attacked from behind.
Lily and the others were surprised by the sudden development, especially after thinking that they were done for.
"They are here! Phew, finally!" Farah shouted with a relieved expression as the other four looked ahead to see who came to their rescue.
But all four of them were surprised to see five people in suits descending down and attacking the giant snake.
These people were wearing metallic bodysuits with strange masks that covered their entire heads. In the place of their eyes, the masks had two translucent eyepieces made out of glass seemingly.
In their hands, they were using different weapons, but every weapon was a spirit weapon! They would randomly throw their weapons toward the nethereal beast, slashing its flesh before the weapon would return to them as they ran around it, striking it from different sides.
*HISSS!!!*
The nethereal beast lashed its tail around in frustration from getting attacked from different sides, and because of its huge body, it was unable to react quick enough to defend itself against every attack.
Even Valentina was astonished by the speed at which all five were moving and in such sync with their attacks.
"Who are these people?" Yuria mumbled while Reva observed that these five were exceptionally trained and knew what they were doing. But more than that, their ethereal cultivations were surely in the Noble Ethereal Realm!
Each of their attacks contained so much power it could blast them away. But they were carefully attacking the nethereal beast in such a way that the shockwaves of their attacks wouldn't spread in their direction.
Knowing that it was outnumbered and outmatched, the nethereal beast took to the skies before these five slowly drained its health and strength.
Lily had a blinking expression seeing the nethereal beast that almost killed them was now trying to fly off in fear.
"Don't let that ugly bastard live!!!" One of the women in the suit shouted, her voice brimming with anger.
Lily felt that this woman had some personal vendetta against either this beast or against nethereal beasts in general.
She and her fellow sisters had already learned that beasts like these which possessed energy they couldn't recognize, were actually nethereal beasts. They didn't know how Damien knew about all these, but once again, they considered it to be part of his secrets.
However, with astonished gazes, all four of them saw the giant nethereal snake falling to the ground with huge bloody holes all over its body.
*THUMP!*
The giant snake's body collapsed on the ground as all of them felt the earth under them subtly shake.
Lily, Reva, and Yuria were amazed that these five had managed to kill such a dangerous nethereal beast. Even if they were weaker than these people, they saw that the giant snake was actually stronger than these five.
But it was their carefully planned out tactics that allowed them to kill it.
However, Valentina told her fellow sisters to be on their guard mentally since these people were obviously stronger than them, and thus they wouldn't be able to have much control of their situation.
Yuria knew Valentina might be being a bit too careful, but she also felt that it was better to be wary of these people even if they saved them.
"Relax, girls. These are my people, and trust me when I say that we are in good hands," Farah said with a smile.
The five of them came down as one of the women in the suit said, "Long time no see, Farah. It seems you have brought some beautiful friends from the other side."
"Hehe, you have no idea. All of them are geniuses in their own right," Farah said with a wink.
"But you failed your mission, didn't you?" A man in the suit asked sternly, making Farah look away.
"Reunion is over. Let's move before the friends of these flesh eaters reach here," The woman ordered as everyone left the place.
Meanwhile, Damien was still in his cage and had witnessed enough to make him realize that he should escape from here before he ended up in a situation he would greatly regret.
He saw how that exhausted man was back up on his feet shortly after eating that human man alive. He didn't even spare his ethereal core, but for some reason, that seemed obvious.
Unfortunately, these intelligent beasts had sealed his cultivation, and because of that, he couldn't find a way out of this cage despite his hands being free.
It was just too tough to break with his bare hands, and this only made Damien increasingly worry. Being so far away from his wives was only making him even more uneasy, and he wanted to get back with them as soon as possible.
However, he saw these beastmen placing another cage right opposite him on the other side of the valley.
And he didn't know if he should be surprised or not to see a woman looking in her late-twenties sitting inside whose gaze suddenly fell on him.
