The beast ignored the provocation and rushed forward to attack the woman again. The woman’s eyes glinted as she dived to the side. Her eyes caught the sight of Lin Yun and Wenren Yu, who were going towards Lin Xiao.
But when she came near them and attempted to let the beasts attacked them, they disappeared.

The woman only managed to turn her head to the side when he saw the two of them appeared beside Lin Xiao. This was the first time in her life she encountered someone so shameless who would run away as soon as they saw beasts like that. Didn’t they have the heart to help?

The beasts pounced forward and this time, its nail was embedded deep into the woman’s body. The woman slashed her sword, trying to kill the beast, but it failed to penetrate into the tiger’s defense.

“Ugh….” Lin Yun furrowed his brows, feeling a bit nausea. This was the first time he saw a tiger eating human’s head like that. In fact, he felt a bit bad because he knew that the woman’s end was a bit too gruesome.
However, he would not step up to help that woman. She clearly trying to make use of them for her own survival. If they were not fast enough or didn’t have Moon Evasion skill, they would have died in her hand.

Wenren Yu shook his head. He thought that Lin Xiao would want to help because the woman did look pretty. However, there were also men who would not fall for beauty’s temptation and Lin Xiao luckily was included among them.

Wenren Yu and Lin Yun spread to two directions almost immediately while Lin Xiao took out his newly bought sword. He stomped his feet on the ground and launched his body towards the tiger that had already thrown the rest of the woman’s half body to the side like throwing garbage. His action looked like he was saying: “It’s not tasty, ptui!”

The tiger poured his attention to the new challengers and put his stance ready. His eyes locked towards Lin Xiao, who was rushing from the front. Without hesitation, the beast roared.
Roar!
Lin Xiao sidestepped to the side, noticing that the beast’s roar seemed to be like sound attack. While it might not be that effective for lower ranked beast, some higher ranked beast’s roar could potentially hinder their action. Lin Xiao would never want to let them take advantage of him like that.
He was still a bit clueless about some attacks since sound wave’s attack could only be done by beast rank 3 or above.
Swish! Slash!
Upon reaching the tiger beast’s side, Lin Xiao didn’t hesitate and swung his sword as fast as possible. His attack immediately reached the beast and cut through the outer layer of the beast’s skin.
However, it was still shallow wound.
“Halt its movement!”

Lin Yun punched forward with Mountain Punch from the back, startling the tiger. The angry tiger tried to twist its body but Wenren Yu had arrived and similarly punched the tiger in different spot.

ROAR! (damn you human, you dare to attack me with such weak attack?)
Despite already being in Body Training Rank 10, the two of them realized that their attack didn’t help that much in defeating the tiger beast. Both Wenren Yu and Lin Yun swiftly retreated when the tiger swung its large paw angrily.
The movement of the Qi in the air told them that the tiger beast was also capable to control the Qi.
This was also the reason why the woman failed to defeat the tiger beast. When beast learned how to use the Qi in the air, they would use it for both defense and attack, boosting their power.
Wenren Yu furrowed his brows. “Be careful, Lin Xiao. Do you need poison’s assistance?”
As he was speaking, Wenren Yu had already prepared the bottles within his fingers. He didn’t have Spatial Ring and had no intention to buy one yet. Because of that, the poisons were hidden within his clothes.
“No need.” Lin Xiao’s eyes flashed as he pounced forward. “Mountain Sword, Second Stance.”
If the first move that he learned from Mountain Sword was to keep steady and firm attack and defense, the second move was one that focused on the strength and power. With agile movement, Lin Xiao halted his steps and pierced his sword towards the tiger’s wound that he made earlier.
Stab!
ROAR! (damn you human, do you think you can kill me with just one attack?)
Lin Xiao’s sword was pierced deep into the beast’s wound, but it didn’t reach the vital point. Lin Xiao’s eyes shone with ruthlessness as he punched his sword with Mountain Punch, sending the sword to tear the tiger’s body.
