Chapter 1152 They Are Divored
Qie Wang and Yan Shanyue got divorced very quickly. The procedures were conducted very smoothly.
Qie Wang finally realized that the marriage was over when he held the signed divorce papers in his hands.
Yan Shanyue felt very relieved after the divorce. “Qie Wang, take care of yourself in the future. I’m leaving.”
Qie Wang asked, “Shall we have one last meal together?”
“No, I have an appointment tonight.” Yan Shanyue rejected his offer.
“With who?” Qie Wang asked anxiously when he heard that Yan Shanyue had a date.
“A few of my painter friends. They were discussing whether to hold a charity exhibition after the new year. Some of my paintings have been chosen for the event.”
“Then I’ll give you a lift to the restaurant.” Qie Wang offered. Yan Shanyue looked at Qie Wang intently. “Qie Wang, I have never done anything wrong to you during our marriage. I am not that sort of person. I am also not interested in what went on between you and Li Zhiwei. I just think that our marriage was a mistake. You don’t have to be suspicious of anything or anyone else. Take care.”
Qie Wang stood at the stairs, watching Yan Shanyue as she walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau. His heart ached so much that he could not breathe.
She was no longer his wife, and they no longer had any legal obligations toward each other now. She was now his ex-wife and the mother of their kids.
Qie Wang’s suddenly phone rang. He looked at the caller and said, “Zhiwei.”
Li Zhiwei’s voice sounded very anxious. “Qie Wang, I heard that you have divorced Shanyue. Is it true?”
“Yes, I’m at the Civil Affairs Bureau.”
Qie Wang knew that he had to bear all the responsibility for the failure of his marriage. He could not blame Li Zhiwei. She had nothing to do with it.

Soon after, Ye Tianxin and Li Qingcang went to meet her and her painter friends at the restaurant.
“Tianxin, I’m here.” Yan Shanyue waved to Ye Tianxin as she saw her approaching.
Li Qingcang turned to Ye Tianxin. “I’ll pick you up later. Take care and be safe.”

“That should not be a problem. The purpose of the exhibition during the new year is to raise funds for charity. With Ms. Ye supporting our cause, I’m sure we will have more donors.”
