He would also be very busy today. Jake had many things to do after the dungeon expanded. But the first thing was feeding the mana crystals to his dungeon core.
”Is it possible to upgrade the dungeon again with 150 mana crystals?” Jake asked the dungeon fairy.
Lena put on a thoughtful expression and then replied by shaking her head. ”We need at least 250 high-grade mana crystals.”
Jake frowned. If that was so, then he had other plans for this much wealth. He dismissed his inventory.
On the 18th floor of the dungeon, inside the core chamber.
Jake sat on a high-back chair beside the dungeon core which was emitting a rich magic aura.
Below him, his servants bent their knees and reported.
”We lost one goblin tribe, 41 direwolves, 22 Black Wolves, a mutated slime, a nekismis python, 9 recently evolved First Circle Orc Warriors, 4 Imps, 11 Trolls, and a… 2nd Circle Kobold Chieftain.”
”What about the Demon Spiders?” Jake asked.
”We don’t have an accurate count, master. They have all gathered on the 5th floor. It seems their queen is evolving to the 2nd Circle,” Vin said.
”Actually, almost all monsters are evolving one by one, master,” Yunna added.
Jake leaned on his chair and thought for a while. Then, he stood up and told them to bring the kobold commander whom he named as Taru.
With light but firm steps, Taru headed to the lower floors as soon as he heard about the Dungeon Master’s summon. He knelt on the chamber’s entrance, but Jake allowed him to come closer.
”Heil the Dungeon Master!” Taru bowed in a manner befitting of a commander and saluted.
”I heard you lost your chieftain. That is unfortunate,” Jake said without a change of expression. There was no remorse on his face. It was as if he was reading a book’s page.
”I have a task for you, Taru. Bring your kobold warriors and make a map of the dungeon. I need every chamber and tunnel mapped within a week. After that is done, I will increase the number in your tribe as a reward.”
The kobold commander stayed silent until Jake finished speaking. He then bowed his head and replied, “As you will, master. But I have a request. Can our tribe move one floor lower?”
Jake nodded. Now that the dungeon had expanded, he planned to move the monsters to the lower floors.
After the kobold commander left, Jake started giving out orders to other intelligent monsters. He made the orcs clean up the remains of the war and collect them in the northwestern chamber. Then, he ordered the goblins to check the underground river which ran through this floor.
Jake had discovered it the moment the dungeon expanded. However, he was too busy and didn’t have time to check it. After the goblins went to work, he told all monsters to settle on the floors from 7 to 11. The dungeon had gotten ten times bigger than what it was previously. That meant all monsters could fit on those 5 floors.
Jake called the two men he had corrupted earlier. He told them to leave the dungeon, and say that Irene had killed everyone else in Redwoods. That way, he could divert the attention of the nearby adventurers.
Jake wanted no trouble for the time being. Before he fully armed his tier one dungeon, he had to remain low key while growing his cult. Jake also had other plans in his mind after getting this many mana
Such as bribing the small noble families in the nearby cities. Then, corrupting them one by one, and finally robbing them.
It took him an hour to give out various commands and settle everything. As the dungeon master, he hadn’t ordered his monsters much. Jake wanted to exercise his authority instead of always letting Lena or his women handle them.
