We were to break into a slum and treat the slum dwellers in exchange for a toll. First of all, they wanted to know how good I was, so I asked Vita to heal some bad guys who had been injured in a fight that had taken place a while ago.

There was a slight misunderstanding because neither Vita nor I knew the level of healing magic in general, but we should have been able to work it out by asking her to check the injured people. For some reason, the goofy uncle walks toward me with a scary serious look on his face, but .......

"I have one question, can you treat the poison?"

I looked at Vita and she answered simply that she could do it. I know... she said she could do whatever she wanted as long as she wasn't dead.

"Yes, we have no problem treating the poison."

"Priest, no, you were not a priest. Sir, I'm so sorry for all the trouble I've caused you. Please help our master with your help.

The smiling old man became completely respectful and bowed deeply, calling me "Sensei" (teacher). The men surrounding me and the man I had just treated also bowed deeply. ...... is kind of scary.

But is it the boss who treats them? I thought it would be a pattern that the smiling uncle was the boss, and later on I was actually the boss, but I heard it was not. I'm glad I didn't say something like, "Actually, you are the boss, I know that. I would have embarrassed myself unnecessarily.

"Well, please raise your head for now. I will treat you as promised even if you don't use honorifics.

"Thank you. I'd like to take you to my boss, do you need a break?"

I see that ...... honorifics will continue. When this guy loses his goofiness, his eyes become sharper and he is usually scary. I'd like him to go back to the normal way if possible, but the atmosphere around him makes it hard for me to ask him to go back to the normal way.

From the seriousness of the situation, I guess the uncle wants to go to his master immediately. He glances at Sylphy and Vita.

"I'll be glad to be done as soon as possible."

"I don't really need a break either."

Sylphy and Vita don't need to take a break. I'm not tired because I just held up my hand and chanted, and I don't need a break because I want to get the trouble over with and take it easy.

"I don't need a break, please lead the way."

"Thank you very much. This way, please."

The former smug old man bows once more and leads me up the stairs. I guess the boss's room is on the upper floor.

**

"This is Jude. Come in."

The former, smiling uncle opens the door after knocking. If he opens the door without waiting for an answer, I think the knocking is meaningless. Also, I found out the name of the ex-helper's name unexpectedly.

"Excuse me."

Following Mr. Jude, I enter the room and am greeted by a beautiful woman with a weary expression and a slightly disheveled, widow-like air. Behind her, a large bed is occupied by a big man with grayish hair but a good-looking physique. Is he the boss and this beautiful woman his mistress?

"What's wrong?"

"Yes, I found a doctor who can treat you. He's a very good doctor.

"Really? My father will be saved. When is this doctor coming to see him?

A widow-like woman approaches Mr. Jude. But wait a minute, there's a lot of information coming in all at once, and I'm in a bit of a panic.

Let's see, the widow-like woman who looked like the boss's mistress is actually the boss's daughter. So, the boss's daughter is Mr. Jude's wife. ............ Yeah, it would have been pretty simple if I hadn't guessed wrong. I'm sorry.

"Oh, this is the teacher. Don't be rude."

Mr. Jude introduces me to his wife, who looks at me confused. That's right. Because I'm dressed like an adventurer.

"Sir, please take care of my father.

Jude's wife, who was bewildered but trusting Jude, regained her composure and asked me for a favor. She too seems to be tired from taking care of her parents, or perhaps she is not in good health. I'd better treat him before my boss does. If he gets well, there will be a big commotion.

"I will do my best as much as I can, don't worry. And since you don't seem to be in good shape either, I'll treat you first. Please don't move."

He looked at Vita and said, "What?" He chants with his right hand toward his wife, who is surprised, and Vita heals her.

"It seems you have been suffering from sleep deprivation due to mental stress. Her internal organs have been weakened, so will you tell her to eat a digestive-friendly meal and to take a good rest? I have restored your strength, but you must not overdo it.

Vita tells me what she has healed and I pass it on to his wife. My role is completely that of an interpreter.

"It's amazing, I feel light and refreshed after being so heavy.

Her expression and skin glowed, and her widowhood faded. Vita's restorative magic seems to be effective for beauty as well. It might be profitable to open an esthetic salon, but it's not right to make a great spirit work as an esthetician. It would be more profitable to open a hospital before that.

"The treatment is over, but don't overdo it. As I said before, eat something easy to digest and try to get a good night's sleep.

"Yes, doctor, thank you very much. Please take good care of my father.

Yes, it's nice to be appreciated by a beautiful woman. Even though I'm married. Jude thanked me, too, and I told him it was no problem, and moved to the front of the master's bed.

"Sir. My boss was attacked by a rival group while he was on patrol. He was wounded by a bow, which was coated with a powerful poison, which I don't know where he got it from. Even the best antidote can only delay the symptoms, and he has not regained consciousness. If only we could get our hands on the top-of-the-line elixir that is being talked about in the kingdom of chrysoprase, we could do something about it, but unfortunately we have no way to get it to him. Please, please, my master."

It seems that some kind of dangerous poison was used. A hostile organization, fighting for slum supremacy? Well, that's none of my business. But how could they feed him if he was unconscious? It seems like they were able to give him an antidote, so was he pumping something nutritious into his system?

I am also surprised that the story of the kingdom of Chrysoprase has reached the slums of a remote country. They won't suddenly realize that I'm involved, but I'll be careful and stay away from the Adventurers' Guild. Well, it seems pointless, since we're trying to heal a master who can't even be treated with an advanced antidote.

If we tell them to keep it a secret, they might spread the word. Spreading a rumor that there is no such a person is the most false and deceitful. Let's get a great rumor started before my proper rumor spreads.

"I don't have a problem with this level of venom. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, I don't like to make too much noise. Please spread the word that I've treated you so that no one will believe it. Is that okay with you?

"There's nothing wrong with that. Just tell me what kind of rumors you want me to spread and I'll arrange it today.

As long as the eels can be bought without any problem and we can have a night out, we'll probably be fine.

"Thank you very much. I'll take care of it.

Vita begins to heal the bedridden master by chanting with her right hand over his head.

"Hmm? Yuta, this human being's right knee and back are getting worse besides the poison. Should I fix them?"

...... what to do. I feel that it would be all right if I just remove the poison, but I feel that it would be better to sell my debt to him anyway.

(I'll ask him.)

"He also seems to have a bad right knee and back.

"By all means."

Mr. Jude answers without a pause. It seems he knew his boss had a bad right knee and hip. He looks at Vita as if he needs to be treated, and the light envelops him again.

"Yes, now I'm healed. I've restored her strength, but tell her to rest for a few days. Well, this guy seems to be working out pretty hard, so a little bit of recklessness shouldn't be a problem.

He nods his head in gratitude to Vita and tells Jude what Vita has taught him.

"Oh, thank you, doctor."

"Thank you very much, sir."

Mr. and Mrs. Jude happily thank me. It feels good to be thanked so honestly. I know it was mostly thanks to Vita, but since the treatment would not have been possible without me in the first place, a little appreciation goes a long way.

"Mmmm..."

Don't worry about it. It's an easy thing for me." I was feeling good and getting into the swing of things when I heard a growl from the bed. It sounded like my boss had woken up.

"Dad!" Dad!"

Mr. and Mrs. Jude rush to the bed. Mr. Jude, you called me "oyabun" (boss), but I guess you call me "oyaji" (father) in real life. It's not wrong since he is my father-in-law, but it feels a little strange since I have been calling him oyabun.

"Hey, what's up Eren, Jude. You're not a kid anymore, so stand firm."

Your wife's name is Ellen. Ellen is clinging to her boss and crying. Jude seems to be explaining the situation beside her. The men who were peeking behind the door were cheering and shouting, too.

"What the hell! ...... that reminds me, we've been attacked. d*mn, it's slowed me down to be wounded by a surprise attack of that magnitude. Jude, were these Nello's men after you?"

"We've tortured the men we captured, and Nello is definitely involved. But we have no proof that Nello had anything to do with it. And there's also a good adventurer who's been involved.

"Oh, that little rat left no evidence. I don't care, I'm going to Nello's!"

Oh, my God. As soon as the patient he treated is restored to life, he's saying he's going to hit up this guy Nello or something like that.

Jude and his wife are in a hurry to stop him, but he doesn't seem to be listening to them. ...... seems to have completely forgotten about my existence. I'm going to have to get out of their way. Sorry Sylphy, Vita, it's going to take me a little longer. I'll make up for more than I missed.
