The heavy gate in the opposite corner from Thor started to open, and the Hulk immediately rushed to the arena while roaring loudly with the audience began to chant Hulk’s name. Clearly everyone at the arena right now was thrilled to see their beloved Champion!
“YES!!!” Thor shouted louder than the audience. He didn’t expect to see the Hulk here, but he thought it was his luck to find a friend in this weird situation. “He is my friend, a comrade in arms from Earth!” Thor shouted excitedly.
The Grandmaster was baffled and took a glance at Dio as he didn’t expect to hear such a turn of events. On the contrary, Dio just smirked as he had already seen this scene in his previous world. But fortunately for Dio, he was undercover right now, and Thor didn’t know the face that he was using right now.
In the meantime, in the arena, Thor was smiling down from ear to ear as he reminisced his memory with the Hulk. Probably because he was meeting a familiar face, Thor forgot that Hulk had his own personality, and he was not the same person as Banner! Because of that, Thor seemed to forget that he didn’t really get along with the Hulk!
“No Banner! Only Hulk!” the Hulk roared as he seemed to have enough of Thor’s blabbering. The Hulk then landed a clean hit on Thor, sending him to flying the wall violently. Seeing that the Hulk had begun attacking, the Grandmaster was relieved and began applauding excitedly.
“Now, this is going to be a very exciting battle!” The Grandmaster said as he glanced back to Dio.
“It is going to be exciting, but more exciting things are yet to come.” Dio smiled without saying anything else. The Grandmaster was a little bit confused as he didn’t know what Dio meant by that phrase, but he just let it go for now. At the moment, Thor was getting pounded by the Hulk, and it was more exciting than listening to Dio.
In the arena, Thor finally realised that his word wouldn’t reach the Hulk, so he took the hammer that he brought with him earlier and hit the Hulk clean in the face with it. The Hulk was knocked to the wall and destroyed the layer of the wall before rushing towards Thor once again. The Grandmaster clearly didn’t like the fact that Thor had the potential to fight back against his prized Champion!
Although he knows that Thor was a strong individual, he never felt that Thor could do anything against the Hulk! After all, he would never give a show that would humiliate his Champion!
“You have to sleep now, big fella!” Thor said as he slowly walked towards the Hulk after he knocked the Hulk down once again. Obviously, no one understood what Thor was about to do except for Dio, but Dio covered his face with his hands and began to shake his head. Clearly, what Thor was about to do wouldn’t work right now. Only Natasha could charm the Hulk to listen and calm him down!
However, Thor didn’t know this fact and still approached the Hulk cluelessly. The Hulk extended his arm slowly, and Thor was visibly excited that he could calm the Hulk down. The Grandmaster’s face contorted as he thought that the fight would be over, but not the way he wanted.
“That’s right, the sun is about to go down, and it’s time to sleep now big guy!” Thor said in a charming voice closer to the Hulk. “I won’t hurt you anymore, and no one would do anything to you!” Thor said slowly, but the Hulk immediately grabbed Thor by the leg and started slamming Thor to the ground like a broken rag doll!
If Loki were here, he would be jumping up and down in excitement to see the scene in the arena right now! Loki himself has already experienced such disaster firsthand on Earth in the past, and it wasn’t pleasant at all! It was a very humiliating experience for someone as prideful as Loki!
Thor that acted like a good brother all this time finally experienced the same thing that happened to him in the past! This scene was a nightmare to Loki, a nightmare that kept waking him up at night, but now, Thor was the one living his nightmare!
But it didn’t matter whether Loki was here or not. Dio would always be helpful in a case like this! Dio immediately took out his phone and adjusted the focus before recording a clear video of the entire scene! Dio’s thought process began wandering to various toxic behaviours. He even wondered whether he should use the video to blackmail Thor later on.
He might even sell the video later to Loki. After all, he would be happy to see his priceless brother in such a state! After the scene ended, Dio put away his phone and watched the show with a stoic expression like nothing ever happened.
In the arena, Thor began to fight back! He used the hammer that he got earlier to beat some sense into Hulk’s head. “Banner, I will get you out of there! Are you purposefully embarrassing me like this? I told everyone here we are friends!” Thor said between his attack.
The Hulk roared and smashed Thor’s hammer into pieces. It was clear to Dio that the Hulk couldn’t hear Thor’s word any longer, and he was too pissed off to hear anything right now.
Hulk began to beat Thor with his powerful punches, and with his agile movement, he never gave Thor any breather as he kept pounding relentlessly! The reason why Thor was able to beat up the Hulk earlier was that the Hulk wasn’t angry enough, but as soon as he got angrier, Thor wouldn’t stand a chance!
Thor didn’t have any chance of fighting back! He didn’t have his hammer anymore, and he couldn’t use his power either. His equipment was useless before the Hulk’s power! Even though the Hulk was powerful and could easily kill a man with a single punch, Thor could still withstand it due to the Asgardian lineage that gave him an almost impervious body!
Without his Asgardian Physique, Thor would’ve already died by now!
