Eventually Reed arrived at the patio and he bowed to Adrian who nodded back to him.Reed raised his head and looked at Adrian who was looking at the whole circumference of the kingdom being illuminated by the beautiful sun s horizon..The wind was blowing the lose stands of white hair off his face.He looked right ahead and the wind continued to hug his face to beautifully.The wind also misbehaved as it made Adrian s rise water scent linger in the air.And like so many times ,the scent found a way to sneak into Reed a nostrils.Adrian could tell that Reed was staring at him but he nonetheless acted indifferent..
"It's beautiful",remarked Adrian.His voice was so earth-like.So rich and wonderful.Not too raspy or squeaky like something from inside a rose bud.Its times when he sounds like tht Reed feels like Adrian isn't ho he says he is.Like he is hiding a sorrow greater than the highest mountain and deeper that the core of the earth. But then again , would he ever let Reed see beneath his perfect
"Mhhm",agreed Reed ,his eyes still fixed in Adrian..The emotions he had burried all this entire time managed to surge to the surface and his heart is trying not to explode.He is trying, God knows too, that he is trying to bury all his emotions in his heart but there is is only so much he can keep hidden.Plus if Adrian keeps making him feel like he stands a chance, how is it supposed to be any easier..
Adrian released a soft laugh and continued looking over the kingdom.Its like he wanted Reed to continue staring at him.And sometimes he swears that the way Reed looks at him , it's like he can see beneath his mask.The confusion at times of whether Reed cares about who this mask represents or what now lies beneath this mask,is too much to handle.This is why he can only laugh though he wants to cry.Maybe it's cause it would be easier to explain his chuckle than his tears.

"Come look at this..", he walked over to the ledge and placed his hands on the banister.Reed walked to him and stood closer to Adrian.He looked at Adrian and Adrian outstretched his hand to demonstrate the horizon.
"If you were to have all, what would you do with it",he asked still looking at the horizon.
" What do you mean?".He thought he had asked a stupid question.Anyone who would answer sucha greed-provoking question in the presence of the king would be asking to have himself decapitated.Adrian thought to restructure his question because what he wants is an alternative way of how to rule the kingdom.Plus Reed is confusedso he must be thinking the same thing.He opened his lips to correct his statement.

" Why?"Adrian was shocked at the quick response, however he did a phenomenal job to avoid showing his shock in his tone
" It'd be the one thing that I feel is valuable enough,so I'd take it all and give it t ..",Reed answered so genuinely and paused his sentence incomplete,almost whispering the last word so inaudibly.His eyes stayed looked on Adrian.This was a sign that what he was saying was coming deep from his soul and not a small fraction of it was lie.He would honestly take the moon and all the seven stars and give them all to Adrian.As his words left his mouth and fell on Adrian s ears, an akward silence drenched the entire room so much so it made the air to hard to breath.

"But if that's still not enough, I would sell my soul a thousand times until I can afford a greater gift",he said this and proceeded to walk out of the room.

He could not understand why he could mean so much to someone and Reed not get tired of it.Adrian was touched by how much devotion that Reed presents to him and that every time Adrian fails to reciprocate it..It tormented him to see such pure loyalty and to think that one day he might lose it all because of the secret he is hiding from him.He knows that some day he won't be a part of Reed s life and it burns his soul to wonder how on earth Reed is going to survive that.Not to mention he himself, how could he survive knowing that he is the cause of Reed s heartbreak.Adrian can only hope that nothing will change but he knows that that is a fools belief so it's better he plays blind to it Reed s fathomless affection.That way he might save himself the heart break.No matter how much Reed offers him his heart on a silver platter, No matter how matter how his heart begs him to listen to Reed's affection, never would he submit to that ..

He pulled himself up to sit up straight and just then he remembered to check his wound and noticed that it had healed.He wasn't at all shocked that, the soaked blood on his pant leg appeared not to come from him As he inspected it, the wind brushed his face and the tears made a cold effect on his face.He quickly wiped them away and proceeded to stand up..He could not tell where he was because it was so dark..He decided stand up to leave and then he heard human moans..
