Tiana could hear the breezing sound of the heater in the room as the room grew cold and quiet. Nicklaus was leaning on his elbow as she spoke and even though she had not said a word, the terrifying look on his face told her he was not just angry, he was mad.
She shouldn't have told him. She should have just kept it to herself. Damn, were they going to fight now? He just came back to her, she didn't want to fight with him, what did she do?
Tiana's heart raced as she watched him, the quietness in the room becoming unbearable.

''No, I'm not, it's just… I didn't want you to worry, and you were already blaming yourself terribly at that time, I didn't want to make the matter worse by telling you. But as time passed, I realized maybe I should have told you earlier. I'm sorry for keeping it away from you. ''
''Was this why you were so scared? How can I be mad at you for this? '' Nicklaus asked, letting her go and staring into her eyes.
