After Gong Yi was driven out of the hotel, he still decided to try his luck and asked Wu Yuan to try and find another place.
This result didn’t surprise Gong Yi. With a cigarette in his mouth, he inhaled a bit and squinted at the hotel sign.
“That person has a heart smaller than a bean. Go get a helicopter. Let’s go home.”
Wu Yuan was about to agree when he remembered something, “Young master, there are no available routes to get back to Country Z at night.”
Gong Yi, “…”
The face that never took anything seriously finally dropped.
If he knew this would happen, he wouldn’t have gotten lazy by riding in a helicopter. He should’ve taken a plane big enough to sleep in.
Wu Yuan saw Gong Yi’s unhappy face and asked weakly, “Young master, can we get a room with my ID? Let’s just get through the night.”
Gong Yi didn’t think that would work but he still tried and brandished his arm, “Go ahead.”
Ten minutes later.
“I’m sorry, sir. He can go up, but you can’t.”
The front desk smiled distantly as she stared at Gong Yi.
Gong Yi, “…”
“Third young master Jun is crossing the line!” After the two people left the hotel, Wu Yuan started to complain, “He stayed with you for so long back in Country Z. He’s obviously not appreciative of what you’ve done for him!”
Gong Yi played with the cigarette in hand, “Let’s not talk about useless things and find a solution first.”
“Young master Gong?” A rather shocked voice came from behind them, Gong Yi turned and froze.
Though he didn’t particularly like this woman, he didn’t dislike her.
To run into someone in a foreign country was fateful enough for him to acknowledge her.
He blew out a circle of smoke and asked, “What are you doing here?”
Xu Pingting gently grinned, “I’m here for business. I just got off the plane and am checking into the hotel.”
She eyed Wu Yuan, who had all the luggage with him, and asked hesitantly, “Are you traveling back home? Why at this hour? I thought there are no night flights back to Country Z from here?”
Gong Yi pursed his lips and didn’t answer.
He wasn’t about to make himself look like a joke in front of another person – especially when that person was from the same country as him.
Wu Yuan, however, was waiting for this, “It’s that third young master Jun! He runs businesses here and owns all the hotels”
“Wu Yuan!” Gong Yi harshly interrupted.
Wu Yuan zipped his lips. How did he forget? After the Gong Corporation expanded into the perfume industry, the Xu family became its rival. He shouldn’t give his rival the chance to laugh.
Though he didn’t finish speaking, Xu Pingting understood what had happened. She hid behind her hand and started to chuckle.
“As the love rival of third young master Jun, and after giving them such a hard time in Country Z, of course, third young master Jun is going to seek revenge while you’re on his turf.”
Gong Yi’s face turned dark. He glared at her and tried to leave.
“Ah, third young master Gong, don’t be mad. What is it? You’re really planning on sleeping on the beach?”
Wu Yuan, “What other options do we have? Third young master really went all the way. He banned the young master from even entering rooms that are under my name. He’s targeting the young master! I’m sure all the employees in all the hotels here have a picture of him.”
Xu Pingting was silent as she pondered. Then, her eyes brightened and she snapped her fingers, “I got an idea! I can help him get in!”
