Orca Academy, Headmaster's cabin.

The old man was standing near the windowpane as he gazed at the dark clouds.

His eyes were calm as ice and he seemed to be gazing beyond the horizon seeing things that no one can.

"Go and greet them, I think we have some guests from a fellow Ancient family…." the old man suddenly said with a calm look.

"Sigh, I am still tired from the fight with that boy of Edwinson House. You better give me some leave this time…." the man laying down on the couch said as he got up with tiredness leaking out of him. He dragged his body towards the balcony before jumping off and disappearing.

"What are you planning, stinky old man….didn't you create one of the wielders of divine artifact already?" The old man muttered as a cold breeze blew past the window.

Edwinson House, Capital...

Max looked at the old man who was staring down at him. A silence remained between them until Max finally broke it down.

"What do you want now?"

"Is that the first thing you are going to ask me?" The old man asked with a sigh. He wanted to say a lot of things but he didn't have the time.

"Follow me…"

Max looked at the old man walking down the hallway and followed behind him.

They continued to walk for a minute and oddly, Max didn't find a single soul around. The old man had directly brought him down to the villa where all the family rituals took place. Basically, it had a graveyard behind.

"Your parents are not here, this isn't the place for people to roam around freely. So you won't find them here?" The old man said as he observed Max looking around.

Max didn't reply and continued to walk behind him.

Soon, they had exited the villa and were out in a field or more like a graveyard. There were several tombs around and a few of them seemed special then the others.

"You didn't bring me to bury here, right?" Max asked with a calm look.

The old man spoke ignoring his remark, "This is the place where everyone from our family has been laid. Killing one's own blood is something which should never happen, how will you feel when you see your kids killing each other."

Max didn't reply and just continued to walk behind.

"We are here to apologise to the ones before us, it must have hurt them to see this happen…" the old man said as he brought Max to one of the biggest memorials.

"Why do I need to apologise? I am no longer the part of this family..." Max said with a frown, he just couldn't take this old man going on about this. He didn't even offer any explanation as if those things never ever happened.

"I know you have been hurt. But, I don't have time to explain it all to you. But, let me just ask you one thing. After coming all the way through, don't tell me you have failed to realise it, you must have some idea behind those actions…." The old man asked as he put his hands on Max's shoulder.

"Tsk...you make it sound so easy. Even if that is the case, I refuse to accept it...." Max spoke as he slapped the old man's hand away. True, he had thought of various reason behind him being left behind but....

The old man looked at him, it must have been difficult. He was after all, just an immature young boy when everything changed. Having his dreams shattered into pieces to having his loved ones disappearing from his side. Even though he forced himself to mature at a rapid rate, it seemed that he still couldn't get it out.

"Where is my will in that?" Max finally asked as anger flashed through his eyes. But it took only a few seconds before he calmed down, returning to his usual state.

"You can hate me as much as you want, but don't blame your parents, specially your mother. She has been kept in the dark as well. You might have suffered all along but I don't think she did any less than you...even now she is waiting for you, sacrificing everything she had to make up to you…"

"What do you mean old man?" Max asked with scrunched brows.

"Why don't you ask her yourself? We should be hurrying over before she gets in any trouble….now hurry up…" the old man said as he grabbed Max's head and forced him down.

Max didn't have any control over his body once grabbed by the old man.

"You better say your prayers…." The old man said as he closed his eyes.

'Apologise, you kidding me....You better be grateful to me, I plugged out the weed from this family of yours….' Max thought inwardly as he struggled under the old man's grasp.

….

Tempest Villa, Capital...

"Creak!"

The door opened and a person walked into the room.

The Lord who raised his head to see his son enter the room, "What is it, Bayu?"

"I am going to participate this time…" Bayu said with a calm look.

"You don't need to…" the Lord refused without batting an eye. There wasn't any need to let him in when there were forces from the main family here.

"I already took permission from the Lord…." Bayu said as he looked at him.

"What did he say?" The Lord asked with a calm look.

"He said it's a good opportunity to gather more information on the Divine artifact…" Bayu said with indifference.

"Do you think I don't know what you are planning for?" The Lord said with a sigh as he looked at him. He knew his son very well.

"So what if you do? You don't have any right to stop me now….you might be the Lord here but not in the true family, you can't even beat your younger brother...you are just a pathetic man who can be easily replaced..." Bayu said without a change in his look as he turned around to leave while he continued to speak, "If I can't even defeat the True Chosen one, there is no purpose for my existence….I don't plan on being a replaceable pawn like you..."

"Shing!"

A black scythe suddenly appeared around Bayu's side. It was giving an aura which Max might be very familiar with.

The Lord of the Tempest house looked at him and sighed. He shouldn't have allowed his son to fall in those monster's hands.

The door to the room close and Bayu finally left and silence engulfed the room.

The Lord had a remorseful look in his eyes. The kid had totally changed. He did t know what had they done with them...

''I am sorry dear….but I could only protect Tyler. But I promise that I won't let anything happen to either of them until my last breath."

Scarlet Villa, Capital.

"Are you satisfied now?" Wilson asked as he looked at Erina who had just walked out of the communication room with watery eyes.

"That damn geezer has truly given herself to that witch…." Wilson said as he shook his head.

"Don't speak like that…" Erina put her hand on Wilson's mouth trying to stop him from bad-mouthing their parents.

"I leave mom in your care, I will visit from time to time….keep her away from that witch and that son of her…." Wilson said as he shook her hand off and took his bag, planning to go looking for a place to stay.

When he was just about to get out of the main door, he suddenly stopped and turned around, "Tell him to not let that son of his appear before me….because this time, it won't be just broken bones and teeth…..I will tear that b*stard apart…."

Erin's didn't know what had happened for Wilson to have beaten the living hell out of their younger step brother, Travis.

Wilson who was about to leave, suddenly paused once again and spoke, "I am here all day around….so don't go crying all day for no reason. And if those b*stards force you into some bullish*t marriage deal, contact me…..I will handle it…"

"Slam!''

And with that, he left…
