Several angry shouts rang as the group of students chased the figure clad in lighting.
This group of students was from Blue City Academy. They had been besieged by a group of beasts when suddenly a purple light flashed and one of their teammates was gone.
Blue City Academy wasn't the only one to have faced such sneak attacks but a few others too.
These people were madly searching for the purple flashing figure.
This person was of course Wilson. Even though he didn't like the idea of sneaking behind, he still decided to use it as it was the best way to deal with the situation.
He had already kicked 3 weak people out and injured 2 from sneak attacks. In the end, he thoroughly provoked Blue City, Trinity and Orca.
He continued to appear from time to time and used flashy attacks to make sure these people didn't lose his trail.
He was carefully luring these people in the opposite direction from where their temporary base was.
Wilson stopped by a building and took a cover in the structure while keeping an eye on the people planning his next move.
"Zzmmn!"
A sharp noise rang as if something was slicing through the air.
Wilson's eyes flickered with a strange light and he immediately moved.
"Shnk!"
Blood dripped down Wilson's palm as he caught the blade with his bare hand.
"Tsk."
An audible dissatisfied click entered Wilson's ear from the figure who had thrusted the blade at him.
The guy has covered his face for some reason and was exuding a powerful but strange aura.
Wilson was about to counter when he suddenly felt a strange force from the blade invading his body.
A sharp pain shot through his head and he seemed to see flashes of some strange scenes and a vague figure who seemed to be telling something to him.
"Bang!"
The guy took advantage of Wilson's daze and sent him flying away with a kick.
Wilson crashed into a wall and broke through to the next room. The structure was already pretty shaky and with that blow, a part of the ceiling came crashing down.
The guy didn't seem keen on identifying Wilson's status anymore as if it didn't matter to him and turned around to leave.
"Zap!"
A purple light sizzled as a bolt of lightning flew straight towards the figure at a breakneck speed almost invisible to naked eyes and struck the unprepared guy square in the face.
As the covering turned into ashes, a familiar face appeared underneath it.
It was Neo…
Neo Yule from Ocien Academy.
Neo's face was slightly burned after the strike and he turned around to see Wilson standing there with a slight injury on his face and few traces of blood around the corner of his lips.
"Too bad for you...I am used to dealing with poisons…'' Wilson said as he raised his bleeding hand which was covered in lightning.
The sizzling thread of purple lighting seemed to be invading the wound on his palm and releasing strange Purple gold vapors….
Using extreme poison was one of the best ways to kill in this competition. Even if you forfeit, death would be inevitable if you couldn't find a cure in time…
And looking at Wilson's hand which had almost turned dark blue up to his elbow, the poison didn't seem to be an ordinary one.
Wilson looked at Neo a big confusion and killing intent in his eyes.
The question was why was this guy trying to kill him….
Wilson really found it hard to believe. It was true that he didn't know this guy but this guy belonged to his Mother's Family…
The Yule had been allied to the Scarlets for ages. His Mother was the previous Patriarch's only child and had been married to the Lord of Scarlet Family.
His maternal grandparents had passed away before his birth and after his mother fell ill, there was pretty much no contact as a family between them….
He didn't even know if the current patriarch was related to his mother or not...but they should have been on the same side for sure...even when Max had asked about Neo, Wilson had calmly replied that there wasn't anything wrong with him…
But now, it seemed that was not true….
Something was definitely up and Wilson clearly felt that the weapon in that guy's hand was weird….
"I don't think you plan on answering any questions even if I ask...right?" Wilson asked as he looked at him.
Neo smiled, "You really like to talk with your fist….no wonder you can't see through what's going around…"
Wilson frowned hearing him and suddenly lightning busted out of him and a blinding flash covered the entire place.
Neo immediately became alert but when everything returned to normal Wilson was gone.
He seemed to be fleeing away.
Neo heard the sounds of footsteps and realised that they had been found. It was no wonder that Wilson ran away…
Neo looked at Wilson. If he couldn't kill him now, the next opportunity would be hard to come by. As if coming to a decision, his figure slowly faded away.
Wilson was gritting his teeth in anger. This was out of his character. He hated for not beating the sh*t out of that guy and fleeing away. But he knew that he had to persist or else everything he had done would all be for nothing…

Namen had seen Wilson appearing in a few of the other Academies broadcasting screens has already reported what was going to the team.

He and Eren were forced to take a detour after encountering another Academy on the path and were still far from reaching their destination.

Not having his mother with him and then the incident with Anna had forged the tough Wilson somewhere along the path...
