The truth was something that Aria hadn't even thought of. This really came as as shock, and she turned her head to look at Lisa.

But, why did she feel that something was wrong here. She remembered Max and Lisa flirting in the Competition so blatantly. It was only possible between couples or very close friends. It was definitely not possible between a guy who had rejected the same girl before.
And, now that she thought about it, Lisa had once tried to suit her with Max.
Could it be she was holding herself back just because she thought that Aria had feelings for Max?
The moment Aria thought about it, she really felt a warmth inside her heart. She really had great friends.
But, it was obvious that Lisa had been unable to hold herself back in the end. And, she had been braver than Aria to actually confess to Max about her feelings.
At the time of the competition, Aria had thought that her decision to move ahead was right, after thinking of Max and Lisa as a couple.
But, what confused her was that Max had actually rejected Lisa.
What in hell was going on?
She clearly remembered the conversation between the two back then. Even though they didn't clearly state themselves being a couple, it sure did suggest them to be one. Not to mention, Max clearly had stated he had a girlfriend, when Aria asked if he liked someone.
This was getting confusing.
"Tell Elly not to feel so insecure? Max won't do anything like that," Rias shook her head with a helpless smile. She didn't blame Elly for it. If she had someone like Max, she would be worried about other girls making a move on him too.
'Huh?' Aria frowned as she looked at Rias. She had no idea where Elly came in this equation from.
"It's enough, Rias. Let's just go," Lisa glared at the girl. It seemed she had resolved herself to spill all the beans out today.
"Don't be sad, Lisa." Rias obviously failed to understand that gaze. She just thought that Elly was in a bad mood because of the fact that she had been reminded of the rejection. "Let me tell you. You are not a bit worse than Elly. It's just that Max is loyal, and he wouldn't leave Elly for you."
"You should have struck first. That girl has got such a loyal boyfriend. I wonder if I would find someone like that too or not." She further added.
Lisa really wanted to suplex this girl right now.
In the end, she just sighed and decided to continue her day planning to avoid as much as awkward eye contact with Aria.
Aria on the other hand was entirely dumbfounded. It was as if she had been struck by thunder.
The person whom Max was dating turned out to be the last person she had ever imagined to be.
It was Elly!

But one thing was getting more and more sure now. If this was really the truth, then no matter who was Fiancee or the cheater. This was one messed up situation.
And, Max was a scumbag for creating it!
She would really like to meet the guy. To think he dared to play with the hearts of her two friends.

"Where in hell did those guys run off to? They aren't even picking their phone," Eren mumbled with a frown as he continued to walk down the busy street.
"Hmmn?" His eyes suddenly widened when he caught a glance of Axel. The guy had a hoodie on. It was obvious that he was trying to hide his face.
'This b*stard..and he said that he didn't have any plans of going out.' Eren was pissed, and immediately bought a cap and pair of google from the stall beside before beginning to follow him in his little disguise. He wanted to see just what kind of place this guy was going to that he couldn't bring him along.
He obviously was imagining it to be some kind of dirty place, and a grin inevitably leaked on his face as he quietly followed the guy into the alley.
But to his surprise, he just found Axel standing there.
"To think that you people's standards have fallen so low? Not only do you send a human assassin behind me, but even a weak one like this?"
His words were not something that Eren could understand.
"Even though you most probably don't know, I will still ask you, who sent you here?" Axel asked with a smile, as a dangerous pressure began to leak out of him.
Eren's eyes immediately turned grim, and he took a stance instinctively.
