Chapter 806 A Risky Plan It had been two days since the assassination attempt on Travis. The news of the incident had already travelled throughout the city. This has shocked a lot of people. Those who had suffered because of Travis were obviously happy. As for those who had nothing against him were just watching the current scene with interest.
Everyone knew that the Scarlet's wouldn't let go of this incident easily. In the midst of all of this, a particular guild attracted a lot of attention. After all, it was being said that the assassin had actually taken up the quest to hunt Travis from this guild.
There had been a few individuals who had shown up at the guild to question this quest taker. But aside from the fact that he named himself Fenrir, no one could find out anything about him.
Louis, the Branch Leader of their guild was obviously having a headache over this incident. She knew that the Scarlet's were upset with the guild, but what could she do about it? She had already done her best, and labelled Axle as an independent Mercenary who had just recently joined them.
But, she was also a little relieved on the other side as this incident had a little positive side to it too. Axel's action had indeed made a lot of people admire him, and made them follow up and join the guild behind him. After all, it was very rare for someone to pick up a fight against a powerhouse just for the sake of justice.
Yes, that was how Louis had framed this whole incident. Since they were already getting on the bad side of the Scarlet House, she didn't mind taking it a step further. Hence, she manipulated information, and gave out the list of Travis's misdeeds, and glorified Axel as a person who was seeking justice for the Victims.
It was obvious whom the people would support under such a situation.

Max turned his head on hearing the voice, and saw Synthia staring at him. She had been following him around constantly like an obedient puppy these days. Since Max had promised her to help with Rihanna, she seemed to be eager to complete everything in Ocien and moved on.
"Don't rush, it will spoil everything.." Max warned her.
"I don't think there is a problem here. We have achieved something we wanted, it's time to move onto next part.." Naze who was there beside them spoke with a calm look on his face.
Max nodded. He wanted to shift Talia's attention somewhere else as he planned to get involved with the Crimsons. And, with Travis's case, that had happened.
"Fine, then…" Max said as he looked at Synthia. "The next thing might be a little dangerous.."
"Hmph! I am ready for anything.." Synthia replied without hesitation.
"Good then.." Max nodded, and slowly turned his head towards Erina. "Try to see that nothing goes too extreme.."
"Don't worry..I will make sure nothing happens to her.." Erina assured Max, and then she looked at Synthia and nodded as well.
The plan was to cause chaos within the Crimson's dimensional pouch. They were going to send Synthia there. It was going to be something like an accidental discovery.
And, since the Crimson's wanted to keep their existence a secret, they had to capture Synthia or might as well kill her.
Max hoped that it wasn't the second case, and that's where Erina's assurance came. Anyway, once Synthia was captured, Max would infiltrate the dimensional pouch in her search.
It was better this way…
Max didn't want to be the one who would discover the place as it would put him in a position that he didn't want to. He wanted to appear as a person who had come there just to rescue a comrade. This was sure going to leave a good impression of Max, and make him seem more trustable in front of everyone.
And, all this had to be completed within a short period of time. If they waited, then the team with a member of higher up which was on its way here would surely get in Ocien. And, if they were to implement their plan in that situation and got caught by this person, it might lead to things in the wrong direction. "When can we start?" Max asked as he looked at Erina. It would depend on her. After all, she was necessary in this plan, and she had to be present in the Crimson spatial pouch.
"I am going in tonight. We can make it seem as if she followed after my trail. As for the reason...lets say she wanted to find more about me because of Preston.." Erina looked at everyone. She rarely gave out suggestions but whenever she did, it had something to it.
"Good then…let's get ready for this.." Max looked at them. There was no problem in communication with both Erina and Synthia for him. After all, he had taken them in as his followers.
Erina had knowledge about all the things, but Max hadn't told Synthia about the stories on their side. As for the screens popping up, Synthia was indeed surprised because of it. But, Max had downplayed it as the power of one of the fiver artefacts.
After hearing that, Synthia had nothing more to ask. She knew that Max was the chosen one. This was the reason that her family wanted her to push him to Max, too bad for them, she didn't swing that way.

It was finally the time to begin their operations.
Erina already had some excuse which had been made with her father's help so that Talia wouldn't doubt them. Hence, she easily got out of the place.
On the other side, both Max and Synthia were waiting on the back of the mountain. And, it didn't take long for them to catch the sight of a vehicle at the bottom of the mountain.
Erina soon got out of it, and after nodding to the guard she parted ways with him, and began to head towards the top.
"Leave it to me.." Synthia muttered as she looked at Max, and then disappeared from her spot.
"Let's hope things go well.." Max sighed as he slowly closed his eyes to observe the situation on the mountain.
