Chapter 860 Blinken in Action

"Did we get separated?" Blinken muttered as he looked around. As soon as he had entered the hole leading to the centre, everything seemed to have gone pitch black, and the next thing he knew was standing in this random place with no one around.

"This place seems to have some kind of spatial distortion. It seems everyone has been separated.."

"Crunch!"

'Hmmn..' Blinken turned his head on hearing that noise. It seems to have come from the bushes. He stared at it for a second before a smile leaked on his face.

He suddenly clenched his fist, and punched the air shooting forward a gust of wind which tore through everything in its path.

"Aahh!!"

As the bushes busted apart, a scream rang through them, and the next instant, a person fell out of the bushes.

"Stop! It's me!" The person immediately waved his hand and screamed at the top of his lungs fearing that Blinken hadn't heard him.

Blinken, who was about to punch again, stopped for a moment, and looked at the guy. He obviously recognized him. It was one from the group of four. And, like Blinken he seemed to be separated too.

"Why were you hiding there?" Blinken asked as he looked at the guy. "Why didn't you come out?"

"Umn…that.." The man obviously couldn't say that he was waiting to see if any opportunity of assasination was going to arrive. And, even if it didn't, he was not planning to tag along with Blinken but was going to find his other three teammates.

"I..didn't know who it was..so I was taking precautions.."

"Oh..really?" Blinken asked with a smile. "You really didn't see me? That seems suspicious…you were there the entire time. And, you seemed to be facing this way as well. Not to mention, when I attacked, you shouted as if you knew it was me. But, according to you it seems you shouldn't be able to recognize me at this distance.."

"What are you trying to say? I don't understand. I genuinely didn't recognize you.." The person feigned innocence.

"Bang!"

A kick suddenly landed on the guy's face and it sent him flying away before he crashed into the trees.

"Splash!"

The man immediately puked out blood with broken teeths when he came to a halt. He definitely wasn't prepared for that sudden assault.

"What are you doing? Our Chief won't let go of you! You were evil all along.." The man cursed as he looked at Blinken.

"You still are going to keep up the act? I held back until now because of that annoying red hair…but now that he is not here, I can do as I want. You are dead.." Blinken smiled at the guy innocently.

"Y-You!!" The man's eyes widened for a second.

"What? Didn't you want to kill us too? It's a fair fight if you ask me.." Blinken spoke with a smile as he took a step forward.

But as soon as he did, he felt a slight nudge against his ankles as if something had hit him, and when he looked below, his eyes caught a barely noticeable thread and on a closer look, his face twitched.

"Die!!!" The man who seemed to be heavily injured and unable to move suddenly sprang up as his fingers pulled onto something which seemed to be made of threads as well.

"Huh?" Before Blinken knew, several strings suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere, and his body was immediately tied, and the next second he was lifted upside down.

"Huff..huff.." The man on the other side looked at Blinken who was hanging upside down with sweat rolling down his forehead. Thankfully, he had made some preparations. He was planning to use this place as a trap and lure his opponents here. Hence, he had set it all up. Who knew he would run into Blinken as soon as he finished his preparation.

"You are dead now. I don't know what kind of sorcery you have. But, those strings have poison made from a combination of some of the deadliest posion. Even the Strong man from the village doesn't dare to touch it. Even if you break it now, you won't survive. I bet you already feel your body going numb.."

"Is that so?" Blinken asked with a smile, and the next second he began to stretch his arm out.

The light noises of the strings stretching and slowly starting to wear down was frightening to the man who was watching the scene from below. He knew how strong the poison was, this shouldn't be possible.

"Snap!"

With a loud noise, the strings snapped at once, and Blinken fell from above, and with a roll landed right in front of the man while his hand went straight for his neck.

"Grip!"

Blinked slowly lifted the dude up, and stared at him with a smile, "What now?"

``This…is not..poss..' The man struggled to speak, and as it seemed that he was about to go out, he suddenly opened his mouth, and shot out a sharp needle straight towards Blinken's eyes.

"Clang!"

But, the scene next left the man with eyes full of disbelief.

The needle which should have pierced through Blinken's eyes was hanging there as if caught by some strange invisible hands.

"Ever heard of energy barriers?" Blinken asked with a smile, "Guess, they haven't found it in this era?"

The man still had no idea what Blinken was talking about when his neck suddenly snapped by Blinken's strong grip, and everything around him turned dark.

"Interesting..but still a bit disappointing.." Blinken shook his head when he suddenly felt a presence arrive behind him, and he slowly turned his head around to see who it was.

It was the Village Chief.

"Did they really attack?" the Village Chief asked with a calm face.

"Well, does that matter?" Blinken asked with a smile as he threw the guy down and kicked him away.

This acthons made the Chief to frown heavily. Their beliefs didn't allow them to disrespect the dead. Any emnity was over with dead.

"He was weak though, everyone is like this in your village?" Blinken asked with a smile. The two still had grievances left unsettled.

"You wanna find out?" The Red Haired Chief asked as flames lit up on his arms.
