Chapter 862 Strange Encounters
A cold wind blew across the forest producing a whistling noise along with the rustling of the leaves of the trees. The noise was breaking the odd silence which lingered in the surroundings.
Blinken and the Chief stood on one side staring at the two men who had arrived with some ill motives, most probably.
"What are you doing? Don't you recognize me?" The Village Chief asked with a frown. The two people had called him out earlier. There was no way they hadn't recognized him. So, it didn't make sense at all, there was no reason for them to attack him.
"Well, the acting gets better and better every time." One of the men on the opposite side spoke with a smile.
"Can't deny that, not to mention he looks really good for the brat's mature self." The other nodded, a little impressed. "I wonder how everyone is doing.."
"I don't understand anything you are saying. Can you be more clear on what's going on?" The Village Chief asked with a frown.
"Destroy them.." The man totally ignored the Chief's words as he and his partner moved into action.
"Damn it!" The Chief cursed in anger.
"Get ready if you don't want to die.." Blinken spoke as he prepared himself. He knew the opponent was not someone that could be taken lightly.
"I know.." The Chief replied with a serious look on his face as his hands slowly started to turn red in flames. "Let's beat them up, I am sure they will have enough sense to talk then.."
"Sounds good to me.." Blinken nodded with a smile. He too was a little curious about these people. But, talking with them didn't seem possible in the current situation.
"Whoosh!"
Blinken's figure suddenly shot forward, and he clenched his fist and threw it a ahead with a gust of wind engulfing his hand.
"You dare?" The Old man laughed as he saw Blinken shooting forward with a fist and threw his own as well.
"Bang!"
Two fists collided in mid air and the next second, both men separated from each other in a tie. The result was definitely beyond the old man's expectation.
On the other side, the Village Chief and the other person had similarly clashed too with the Village Chief being at a little disadvantage. It seemed that the man against him with the long white beard was the stronger of the pair.
"Did I get the weaker one?" Blinken complained a little when a shadow suddenly fell upon him. "Why don't you try to handle this weak one then?"
'Fast..' Blinken's face turned grim when he noticed the man almost disappearing from his spot and appearing above him.
"Boom!"
The man gripped both his hands together and slammed together on Blinken.
But, Blinken was quick to act. Before the fists could touch him, a gust of wind seemed to gently push him away, sending him out of the way of those two giant fists. But, the ground was not as lucky as Blinken, the fist slammed into the ground and crack immediately spread apart in the shape of a spider web before the ground gave in leading into the formation of a huge crater.
'What the hell..this is insane..' Blinken stared at the man with a weird look in his eyes. He couldn't sense the man using some kind of energy. He couldn't understand where such power was coming from. It really seemed like a mystery.
'But, this is his weakness as well..' Blinken realized the fact, and as he waved his hand sent out a sharp scythe of blade, and the man almost seemed to have no idea about what Blinken had done until that Blade of wind crept close enough to him to have a grave sense of danger.
His instincts yelled at him, and he immediately bent towards the side but the blade of wind still managed to slice up a gash in the his neck, and blood started to gush out of it.
"Y-You!" The man looked at Blinken in surprise as he held his neck. Thankfully, the cut was not deep enough to kill him. But, if it was neglected, then the blood loss could surely make him run out of life.
"Not prepared for it?" Blinken aske with a smile as several more blades of wind began to form around him.
"You are an Anomaly too.." the man spoke with a frown. Until now he had failed to recognize Blinken's ability. As it hadn't been used in an obvious manner. All he thought of it was just pure physical strength and not something enhanced by his ability.
"How is this possible? Him makes sense..but you..Who in hell are you to begin with?" The man spoke with a frown as he looked towards the Village Chief who was being oppressed by his partner before looking towards Blinken again.
"I don't understand what you are trying to say. You spewing nonsense, because you are about to die?" Blinken asked as he looked at the guy.
"Huh?" The man shook his head, "I don't know why you, a person unrelated, have suddenly showed up. But, your attitude is certainly annoying, kid…" The man spoke as he suddenly let go of the palm that was pressed down on his neck, and the cut from before had already stopped bleeding.
Blinken frowned at the sight of this. That was not something which could be healed this fast.

"Well, this is a surprise.." Max muttered as he found his path being blocked by two figures with lean bodies, pale skin, and striking white hairs.
"Who are you people?" Max asked as he looked at them. He really found these people to be a little fascinating. It was because he could sense a strong life force within their body. It was definitely not natural but more like something they had managed to gather within them somehow.
"That's something we should ask.." One of the men spoke with a calm look. "I don't think I know you.."
"Well, sure we don't.." Max nodded.
"Then does that mean you are not an illusion?" The person further asked.
"What does that mean?" Max asked with as his brows furrowed a little.
"Are we really going to leave him because of that? What if this is some kind of new trick?" The other person said as he looked at his partner. He was against the idea of sparing Max.
"Of course, we don't. We will just beat him up and take him with us to see whether it's real or not.." The former guy spoke once again.
"If it was a normal situation, then you sure would have beaten me..but things are a little different now.." Max smiled as he slowly let his domain out.

"That's something we should ask.." One of the men spoke with a calm look. "I don't think I know you.."

"Then does that mean you are not an illusion?" The person further asked.

"Are we really going to leave him because of that? What if this is some kind of new trick?" The other person said as he looked at his partner. He was against the idea of sparing Max.
"Of course, we don't. We will just beat him up and take him with us to see whether it's real or not.." The former guy spoke once again.
"If it was a normal situation, then you sure would have beaten me..but things are a little different now.." Max smiled as he slowly let his domain out.
