Having arrived safely at Harbor Fulton, I left my report to Kareen to Aryeh and hurried to my tent.

The time limit was two days away.

There are countless jobs to be done before then.

My mind was so occupied with the math that I did not realize it until later.

I saw a figure standing in front of my tent.

"Rust! You came back. Well, it looks like you've found a solution.

"Rebbe Har Hammer! I'm back. How can you tell? Is your face that easy to recognize?

I lightly pecked my cheek.

"Well, I've seen your confident face many times when you have an idea. You know, every time after you give me that look, you come up with something crazy. It's memorable, even if I don't like it."

When Halhammer says this to me with a hearty laugh, I can't help but shrug my shoulders.

I wasn't aware of it, but now that you mention it, many things come to mind.

"Come on, we'll help you. So where do you want to do it?"

"We?"

"Oh! I am the advisor of the Kagero Institution and these are the new members of the temporary structure of the Kagero Institution."

He pointed to a brick building that had been erected next to my tent before I knew it.

Just at that moment, people come out of the building next to mine.

They are all dressed as alchemists.

I am taken aback. I just watch them as they line up.

"You haven't heard from Master Kalin, have you? She asked me to surprise you at best, but it looks like I've kept my word.

Halhammer says something unheard of.

"Yes, I was really surprised. I had no idea that the Kagero Institution was in this kind of trouble without my knowledge. That's why Kalin told you to name it as soon as possible. ......"

While I was answering and swearing to myself that I would definitely complain to Kalin later, the story of Halhammer continued.

You remember those golems we saw when we came to Harberfulton? That was their simple alchemist. And while Rust was away, Master Kalin asked me to do some simple organizing. I'm sure you'll need it. I've already measured everyone's abilities and ascertained their aptitudes.

Halhammer smiles smugly.

Surely, Halhammer, who used to control the Alchemy Association, must be familiar with such things.

"How could you go that far ....... in the short time I was on a forced reconnaissance? That's the way it's done, isn't it, Mr. Haruhammer? So, what do you mean by "provisional"?

Of course, whether or not we officially hire you is subject to your approval, Mr. Rust, the head of the Kagero Agency. Here are the documents for all of you. This is an emergency, so it can wait. I recommend that you take the time to read them over. And you can decide how you'd like to work from now on. Now, give me your work orders. I'll assign the work."

He tells me this with a thump on his chest.

I take a deep breath.

In the same breath, I try to sort out in my mind what I need to do and what I can entrust to Halhammer and the others.

─ ─ Yes, if Halhammer will act as an intermediary and coordinate, I can leave everything but the most difficult part to him.

After making this decision, I began to explain the work process to everyone.
