Somehow, Kalin spoke happily about her future plans.

She said, "I have nothing to complain about, since she has entrusted me with the task of recapturing Taura. Kalin promised to back me up as much as possible in terms of supplies and human resources necessary for the recapture.

Kalene told me that she would pay me a part of the reward in advance for my great achievement in destroying the demon tribe and preventing the world from being endangered by the earthquakes.

I nodded in agreement as Kalene told me with a strong smile that a formal reward would be discussed with me.

If there was a problem, it was Karin's subsequent instructions.

"Rusto doesn't know this, so I'll explain, but Her Highness Lily woke up as soon as she got here. But she is incoherent. His Zoroastrian followers were so worried about him that they were in tears.

Kalin says this with a sly grin.

"Kalin-sama, as you can see, neither Mister Zoroar nor Mister Rysmist are crying. They were just showing their faces that they were upset that they couldn't hide it.

Ary adds, "I'm not sure that's a follow-up," and I listen to them quietly.

Rust's story finally made sense to me. His Highness Lily must have little or no memory after childhood."

"You mean to say that you have no memory of what happened after you were taken into the three seats of iniquity? Kalin-sama?"

Ary curiously confirms this to Kalin.

"Yes. That's probably the reason why His Highness Lily seemed more childish than usual, and why she was so upset by her own appearance.

"Is that possible, Mr. Rust?"

She shifts her gaze from Kareen, who is confident in her words, to me, and asks Ary.

Before I can answer, Kalene continues.

Before I can answer, Kareen continues. I'm going to use this."

Apparently, as far as Kalin is concerned, she is not interested in the principle. As she spoke, she passed over Ary's question and took out a transparent stone with a beautiful gem-like cutting - a magic stone with four seats of great folly.

Where did you get that?

"Her Highness Lily had it. Rose gave it to me when Rust fell."

Roa, who had remained silent until then, tells us. It seems that Rose had secretly retrieved it for me.

I am somewhat hesitant to touch it, so I just visually check it out and shake my head.

Karin shrugs her shoulders and continues talking.

"I'm going to call this the magic stone of the demon tribe we defeated this time. Rust is the hero who defeated the demonic tribe that had possessed His Highness Lily and saved this continent from the earthquakes. This is the proof of it. Unfortunately, His Highness Lily's memory is hazy due to the aftereffects of being possessed by the demons.

"Is that ......!"

I can't help but shout.

"Yes, will it work? Especially in the case of Her Highness Princess Lily, isn't there a lot of responsibility to be pursued?"

Ary raises a question. Ary is surprised that Kalin accepts his policy regarding the magic stone.

"Her Highness Lily is the third in line to the throne. And thanks to Rust's successes in the past few times, she has contacts in many fields. I'll leave that to you."

Karin turns around, puts her fist to her chest, and winks.

Apparently everyone agreed with that.

The memory of Kalin making a similar gesture when I was a student flashed through my mind, and I felt a touch of uneasiness. But I shake off my fears and concentrate on getting Taura back.

"Come on, guys, you're going to help me in many ways. What about Rust?

I decided that it was a question of what I needed to do to get Taura back, so I answered Kalin.

"I want to take ...... Loa with me."

"Okay. Loa, can you do that for me?"

Roa answers with a quiet nod.

"Yes. Long trip?"

"Pretty much, yeah."

Okay. I'll be right back, Mr. Aryeh.

"Rebbe Halhammer, please take care of the Kagero Agency for a while."

After greeting each other, Roa and I left Kalin's office.
