As I look in amazement, alternating between my hand and the translucent plate, the white dragon lets out a single cry.

"Cuuuuuuuuuuuuu!"

Then another, similar translucent plate appears. This time, it is right in front of the white dragon. It is a little smaller in size.

The timing of its appearance is clear: it appears in response to a cry.

The white dragon stares up at us. It is sitting on its haunches, its tail flapping gently against the floor.

I wonder. I felt like it was expecting something from me.

I try again to touch my finger to the translucent plate in front of me.

The flapping of the white dragon's tail quickens a little.

I retract my hand.

The flapping slows down and the white dragon tilts its head.

"Are you asking me to touch this? I ask aloud and gently touch the translucent plate.

"What are you touching, Rust?" Even the magic eye can't see anything." "Loa's clairvoyance slips through the perception-blocking technique, but the magic eye can't see anything. Is this primordial magic ......?" Kareen asked, and the loa and the others answered.

I listened to them in the corner of my mind, most of my attention focused on what was in front of me.

I could say that I was dancing with curiosity about something completely unknown.

Although the strings of letters were completely unknown to me, there was clearly a regularity in their arrangement.

And above all, the white dragon cub in front of me must have understood these strings.

When my finger comes to a sentence, the flapping of the tail becomes more intense.

The sentence consisted of two parts.

The first half of the sentence consisted of two symbols, and the second half of the sentence consisted of six symbols.

Now what to do... I think we need to do something about this to make a deal. ......

I am troubled. It is the magic of the unknown. I do not know what dangers there are. But, being a researcher, my curiosity got the better of me in the end.

My finger touches the sentence.

Then, in the latter half of the sentence, the six letters of the symbol change one after another.

This is...! They must be numbers, I'm sure of it. There is a regularity in the way they change, and the same symbols appear over and over again!

As I look at the translucent plate with excitement, I see something that looks like light moving from my side of the plate to the white dragon's side of the plate. It seems that something is flowing into the other side.

I release my finger to try it out. Then, the symbols which seem to be numbers stop moving and the light disappears.

This is amazing. Something is being passed on by the white dragon's primordial magic!

"Cuu," the white dragon cries sadly. Maybe, but it is not enough.

It touches the string again, and something continues to be passed on.

And then, when the string of six letters was reduced to five letters. The string stops changing. Instead, two new strings appear in the center of the translucent plate.

Both are short strings.

One is an affirmation, such as "execute" or "confirm", and the other is a negation, such as "abort" or "cancel". It's a flow.

I move my finger closer to the right side.

The white dragon shakes its head "squeak squeak". The tail sways sideways in tandem with the head.

Next, I move my finger to the left side.

A white dragon shakes its head vertically with a "squeak. Its tail flaps on the floor.

I touch the left side.

The translucent plate disappears.

And suddenly, a white light floods out from the wound I have just made on my left arm.

"Kya!" Someone screams from behind me because of the glare.

I am so startled that I freeze. I don't care about that, the light from my wounds gathers around the medallion around my neck.

The medallion shining brightly. The next moment the light leaves the medallion and flies to the white dragon.

The white dragon's body glows silver and white as it catches the light.

A loud "cooing" sound is heard.

When the silvery white light subsides, there is a white dragon that has grown twice as large as the medallion.

Its neck is elongated and its overall appearance is sleeker.

The white dragon slowly approaches.

"Have you made a deal with him? I muttered to myself as I watched the white dragon approaching.

The white dragon lets out a "squeak" and slaps its tail, which has also grown long, on the floor.

It brings its outstretched neck close to me.

I gently stroke its neck.

It feels cool.

I look closely and see the same pattern as my medallion carved into the middle of its neck. It looks like a silver birthmark.

"How about the name Sailuke?"

"Cu."

Thus, I succeeded in making a contract with Seyruk in exchange for something.
