"Master Rehalzam, here is today's catch."

So saying, Deden, who used to be an adventurer, offered a mouse to the wriggling slime. From its head grew a magnificent mushroom.

There are many other people around with mushrooms growing out of their heads.

Some of them were holding crude weapons. They were former lowly adventurers.

Another group of people were dressed in tattered clothes and looked as if they were wearing nothing at all.

All of them seem to have a little bit of ego left in them. However, their behavior was completely controlled by the mushrooms that Rehalzam had planted in their heads.

These mushroom people, so to speak, do not seem to be in a superior position to the former adventurers.

Beside Riharzam, who was digesting a rat with a messy mouth, a big man with a beard was giving instructions to other Mushrooms as a right hand man. His clothes are very shabby, and traces of his long years of inactivity on the streets can be seen everywhere on his body.

But for all that, he had a strange air of dignity and power.

Naturally, he had a mushroom growing out of his head, but that was not all. Numerous mushrooms can be seen through the gaps in his beard.

"Master Doga. Master Riharzam has a guest..."

The giant bearded mogul called "Doga" slowly turns around. It was Deden's fellow former bottom adventurer who appeared to report. Doga slaps him across the face as hard as he can.

The force is tremendous.

The slapped one flies through the air and crashes into a wall. It seems that the mushrooms growing out of their heads have the effect of removing the limiter of the human brain.

Doga growls at the wall as if to throw up.

"You stupid son of a b*tc*! Master Riharzam has no customers. He's the enemy. I don't tell you to get him. At least kill him and bring him to me!

Then a man appears, wearing a heavy hood.

Doga and the mushrooms move quickly to protect Rehalzam. However, neither Doga nor the mushrooms can move their bodies as if they were stuck to the floor.

"Well, well, they are really our guests, aren't they? Master Riharzam, it's been a long time. It's been a long time since your reincarnation into a demon tribe. Indeed. It's wonderful. A magnificent nest. It seems you have a full complement of workers. You seem to be on your way to becoming a demon king.

The hooded sorcerer looks around Riharzam's nest and comments on it. His tone was like that of a man who is pleased with the growth of his pet or experimental animal.

"Oh, no, not before! How dare you! You made me like this!"

When Riharzam formed a humanoid shape from the mucous part, he lashed out angrily at the sorcerer.

However, Riharzam, like the other mushroom people, seems to be unable to move from his position.

"What is this? I can't move!

"Well, well, well. Don't try so hard. It's like the curse I put on Master Rehalzam when I made him reincarnate and evolve. I've come here today with an announcement. It's about Master Rust, whom Master Riharzam is very much in love with.

The magician cut off his speech with a pretense.

"Ruth! What's wrong with him?

I was really getting in the way of things. So I killed him. Well, I used my treasured meteorite-dropping magic tool, so I'm sure he's all burned up and his body's all torn up.

"Oh, no. No, no. No. Rust can't be killed by you. I, I have to kill him.

A humanoid figure growing out of the mucous part of Riharzam cowering, holding its head.

"No, no. He's dead, he's dead. The star dropper is a valuable tool of primitive magic of the Age of Creation. It was a very precious item indeed. I tried to arouse Master Roust's anger. And I wanted to take advantage of the gap in his heart. It was cheaper that way. But unfortunately, he was calm. He was a total bore. In that sense, I like you better. It's really easy for me to let my emotions get the better of me like this.

The sorcerer then looks down at Rehalzam, smiles broadly, and leaves.

"Well, well, let's see how this will change Master Riharzam. I can't wait to see.

Riharzam cowering, seemingly not hearing the last of the sorcerer's voice.

He kept shouting, "No, no, no, no, no!
