As he was thinking about this weird circumstance, his phone buzzed in his pocket.
Pulling his phone out, Takei realized that it was a text from Akari.

Takei could not understand how his girlfriend managed to save him from getting punished, but he didn't intend to ask in fear of learning the truth of what she did.
Putting his phone back in his pocket, Takei continued about his day while simultaneously thinking about how to thank Akari.

Takei suddenly texted me that he was going home early today to do something and told me to hang out with some friends after school until he was ready for me.
What could he be possibly preparing?
It wasn't any special occasion today, but I did tell him to thank me for the help with his attendance, so could it be that?
I'm surprised that he managed to think of something this fast though.
Anyhow, I'll play along with him since he's adorable when he tries his best.
Although, I want to refill up on some Takeinium...
"Yoo-hoo! Akarin! Let's go to that smoothie joint!"
Oh, looks like Helena wants to hang out.

As the sun finally began to set after a long day, Akari made her way home from a round of flavorful fruit drinks with some of her friends.
Arisa and Rikka had decided to tag along after they had heard of the plans, which resulted in a secondary girl's meeting happening.
The typical topics were talked about and the meeting ended on a very positive note.
Arriving in front of the Tanaka household, Akari slid the key into the front door and unlocked it.
"The lights are off?"
Oddly enough, all of the lights in the house were turned off.
Takei and Airi are usually home after school, so what gives?
As she entered the dark household, Akari realized that there were actually candles spread around the house that dimly lit her surroundings.
Looking down at the ground, Akari noticed that there was a trail of red flower petals that led all the way to the dining room.
Deciding to follow the trail, she walked into the dining room and was greeted by a ridiculously handsome gentleman.
"Hello, milady. I hope you've been having a good evening."
The handsome gentleman was dressed up in a slim-fitting suit that emphasized his thin nature.
With his jet-black hair slicked back, the gentleman looked like the ideal butler, albeit a bit young.
As some people may have guessed, this person was none other than the goddess's significant other, Takei Tanaka.
"Takei..."
Seeing Takei's handsomeness enhanced by the elegant nature of his butler outfit, Akari was overwhelmed with several emotions that were enveloping her body in a surreal warmth.
"Here you go, milady. The food will be done soon."
Pulling the seat at the table out, Takei motioned for Akari to sit down.
Doing as instructed, Akari sat down and admired the attention to detail that Takei put into the environment.
There was some classical music that was being played at a low volume in the background as well as scented candles that helped make Akari relax.
"Here's the food, please enjoy."
Bringing out the food, Takei carefully laid the plates down in front of Akari and began to explain what was on the menu tonight.
"Tonight's menu will be braised beef over rice with a side of asparagus. I hope you'll find it suitable to your tastes."
Continuing the butler act, Takei quietly stepped back and silently observed Akari's reaction after she had put a spoonful of the food into her mouth.
"Mmmm! Yum!" Akari exclaimed. "This beef is so tender, yet so flavorful. It must have been graced by the gods!"
Hearing Akari's genuine praise was just enough to make the edges of Takei's lips curl up, even though he was trying to maintain a stony demeanor.
I guess being praised by your significant other is just too strong of an emotion to be contained.
It didn't take too long for Akari to effortlessly devour what was on the plate in front of her.
"Haaah..."
Once she finished consuming the delicious food, Akari let out a satisfied sigh and slumped back in her chair.
"I can't eat anymore..."
"Hoh, what about dessert?"
"There's a dessert as well?!"
Thinking that the experience was over, Akari was quickly hit with a surprise attack when Takei acknowledged that there was more to this experience than she had thought.
Takei went into the kitchen and came back with a plate that was covered to ensure that Akari wouldn't know what the dessert was right away.
"May I?"
"You may?"
After receiving permission, Akari lifted the cover and found...
"Huh?"
Nothing.
There was absolutely nothing on the plate.
Confused as to where the dessert was, Akari turned to Takei for an explanation.
"Hey, where's the des-?!"
Akari tried to ask Takei for clarification, but she was met with an insurmountable amount of bliss as his lips were locked with hers.
She could feel a piece of candy being transferred from his mouth to hers, which resulted in an amplified version of the candy's sweetness due to Takei's warmth and feelings being transmitted as well.
After a few more moments of passionate kissing, Takei finally let go of Akari's lips.
"Hah... haah..."
Akari was gasping for air because her body was deprived of it due to the extreme amounts of kissing they did.
Seeing her still recovering, Takei gently lifted Akari's chin.
"How was your reward, milady?"
With a mischievous smile on his face, Takei chuckled to himself as he watched the meek Akari try to respond.
"It was... amazing..."
After a moment or two, Akari finally gathered whatever was left of her brain cells and conjured up a response.
In response to that, Takei leaned in close to Akari's face and gingerly planted a light kiss on her forehead.
"Thanks for your hard work, my brightest star."
