GFR Ch26

#26

“Um…” So-Won tilted his head after feeling Tae-Woo’s wavelength.

The usual sharp wavelength was constantly pushed in, and too much was about to come in at once. It felt like the guidance was not working properly as if the passage through which the wavelength came in and out was blocked.

For some reason, the back of Tae-Woo’s hand, which was revealed as it was, seemed empty.

After thinking for a while, So-Won also reached out his other hand. He let it rest on the back of Tae-Woo’s hand.

After he wrapped Tae-Woo’s hands, the waves flowed through both hands.

The wavelength, which had been running wildly, was divided into two branches. Finally, the guidance that had been blocked now seemed to be working properly.

“Oh, it’s working well this way.”

So-Won’s hands were tingling, but he felt proud.

It was an emotion he had never felt while guiding.

It would have been better if Tae-Woo’s veins disappeared when So-Won removed his hands, but the dark red color seen between his fingers remained the same.

Ten minutes was fast.

So-Won kept checking the time and released Tae-Woo’s hand exactly 10 minutes later.

So-Won wanted to guide him a little more, but he couldn’t make Tae-Woo late.

So-Won tried to get up to get out of the car, but realized that he was not even loosening his seat belt, so he belatedly loosened it.

The tenseness on So-Won’s body disappeared.

“I’ll be back soon.”

“It’s okay to be late, so don’t overdo it.”

Tae-Woo said he would take So-Won to the waiting room, but So-Won refused.

The big-bodied tan in black was noticeable.

So-Won didn’t want to see people surprised at Tae-Woo.

So-Won didn’t want to put more burden on him because Tae-Woo felt burdened by the thought of entering the gate and fighting monsters.

So-Won said goodbye to Tae-Woo for the last time and got out of the car.

He  bowed to him, invisible beyond the closed car window.

So-Won was only sorry that he could only hold Tae-Woo’s hand until the end of 10 minutes.

He passed the parking lot and headed for the guide center.

It was smaller than the place So-Won stayed in Incheon, but seeing the clean exterior, he was in the waiting room, and he was already about to get extremely bored.

“Lee So-Won.”

So-Won, who was walking slowly while looking at the unfamiliar scenery, looked back in surprise at Tae-Woo’s voice from behind.

Tae-Woo was standing right behind So-Won.

So-Won hurriedly looked around to make sure there were no people around.

Fortunately, no one was seen now, but people seemed to pass at any moment at the entrance of the center and the open parking lot not far away.

“You left this behind.”

Tae-Woo delivered something to So-Won.

It was not until So-Won found a familiar smartphone in his hand that he noticed that his pocket was empty.

“Oh, thank you.” So-Won thinks he accidentally dropped it while getting out of the car.

So-Won received the smartphone with an apologetic expression.

Then So-Won tried to let Tae-Woo go before the others came, but he felt as if someone was coming here.

So-Won listened to the footsteps getting closer and nervous in preparation for the upcoming surprise.

“Wow, who is this? Isn’t it Esper Kang Tae-Woo ? I was surprised.”

So-Won turned his head and confirmed the owner of the voice.

Brilliant blonde hair and good looks.

So-Won, who thought he was a celebrity at the moment, immediately corrected him as

 “Choi Si-Hyuk.”

Choi Si-Hyuk is one of South Korea’s S-class Esper, who used psychokinesis.

He was famous as an Esper, but also known for his activities as a model and actor.

Rather than going to the gate, he felt more like a celebrity than Esper because he was a person he often encountered through entertainment news.

“Good morning.”

“Long time no see. What brings you here? Isn’t it far from Esper Kang Tae-Woo’s house?”

“I stopped by because of the gate.”

Like any celebrity, Choi Si-Hyuk is much more handsome in person than in pictures.

So-Won briefly admired Choi Si-Hyuk’s appearance even though he was also a man.

Esper, who has a shining face, a bright personality with a smile, and is well-known for good rumors.

He was the opposite of Tae-Woo in many ways.

Choi Si-Hyuk was also an S-class Esper, so he looked fine even when facing Tae-Woo closely.

Choi Si-Hyuk was dragging a chair where a woman was sitting, and she, who looked like a normal person, was also not afraid of Tae-Woo. So-Won thought Si-Hyuk’s guide was a little strange.

“Ah,” Choi Si-Hyuk made a short sound as if something came to mind.

“Clear the gate around here?”

“Yes.”

“That’s what I was supposed to go to.”

Choi Si-Hyuk continued with a smile.

“It’s Friday today, and I suddenly got lazy, so I said I wouldn’t go. I thought I’d roll the guys down there, but I’m sorry.”

Choi Si-Hyuk, who said so, was smiling as if he was having fun. He didn’t look sorry at all.

 So-Won doubted his ears.

If Choi Si-Hyuk closed his mouth, So-Won thought he heard it wrong and tried to let it go, but Si-Hyuk didn’t stop there.

“Didn’t I say that I went to clear last time? You said you got a guiding machine, so is it worth buying?”

Tae-Woo did not answer.

So-Won thought they were close to each other just by looking at the greeting, but the atmosphere was strange when So-Won listened to the unilateral conversation.

So-Won made eye contact with Choi Si-Hyuk while looking between the two.

When So-Won saw his good looks, he made a stupid face for a moment.

“But you shouldn’t go around like this. Look, the public is scared.”

Choi Si-Hyuk pointed to So-Won with a chin gesture.

So-Won looked at Tae-Woo in embarrassment when the topic of the conversation suddenly became about him.

Tae-Woo looked at So-Won’s eyes and agonized.

Choi Si-hyuk was an uncomfortable person to deal with.

Sometimes he joined the gate attack, but he get used to the conversation with him over time.

Tae-Woo knew that it was the best option to pretend to be a passerby and not answer him.

But just this once, Tae-Woo didn’t want to treat So-Won that way.

“He’s my guide.”

“What?”

It was a brief introduction.

Choi Si-Hyuk opened his eyes wide as if surprised and alternately looked at So-Won and Tae-Woo.

Tae-Woo became increasingly anxious for no reason when he saw Choi Si-Hyuk who was rapidly interested.

“I wondered how monster Kang Tae-Woo and the Guide, who had a matching rate of 100%, were again……”

Choi Si-Hyuk looked up and down at So-Won and muttered quietly as if it were unexpected.

Si-Hyuk curiously observed So-Won, that Kang Tae-Woo introduced himself as his guide.

For a man, So-Won’s cute appearance and face are so different, even though he is an adult.

The look on So-Won’s face that feels like a good and gentle personality is showing signs of nervousness in front of him, so Si-Hyuk can’t help laughing.

It was a guide who appeared out of the blue, thinking that God would finally save him after neglecting the monster Kang Tae-Woo for over 10 years.

That too, along with an absurd number of 100% matching rates.

Si-Hyuk’s eyes narrowed, but no one noticed it thanks to a smile right away.

“I’m Choi Si-Hyuk an S-class Esper. Nice to meet you.”

Si-Hyuk smiled and reached out to So-Won.

For some reason, So-Won felt uncomfortable holding the hand, but he was attracted to Choi Si-Hyuk’s face with a big smile.

When So-Won came to his senses, he was already introducing himself while holding hands with Si-Hyuk.

“Hello… I’m A-class guide So-Won.”

As soon as Si-Hyuk held So-Won’s hand, a strange feeling flowed in.

 It’s incomparable to Tae-Woo’s.

At first, So-Won thought it was simply the body temperature felt in the palm of his hand, but So-Won gradually became convinced, feeling the calm flow up the arm.

Wave.

This is Choi Si-Hyuk’s wave.

This was the first time So-Won felt other people’s repercussions, not Tae-Woo’s.

Unlike Tae-Woo’s wave, which was even violent in a mess, Si-Hyuk’s wave was as soft as a warm wave.

However, rather than thinking that the positive wavelength felt for the first time was amazing, the embarrassing feeling preceded him.

It only one thing that when So-Won could feel the other person’s wavelength.

“Being Kang Tae-Woo’s guidemust be hard.” [Si-Hyuk]

But… he guess Si-Hyuk also noticed it, so the hands he held together added some strength.

“Ah!” He pulled So-Won’s arm.

So-Won’s body was dragged forward without a choice.

Si-Hyuk bent down and pushed his face close to the faltering So-Won.

The blatant gaze glanced stickily through So-Won’s face.

The wavelength of the other party can be felt only when the matching rate between the two exchanging guides is greater than or equal to a certain value.

This applies to the minimum guide matching conditions announced by the association, and to put it simply, if both Esper and the guide can feel each other’s wavelength when guiding, the two are in a matching relationship.

When So-Won’s eyes met with blue eyes, goosebumps formed all over his body.

Si-Hyuk raised the corners of his mouth as if it was funny.

So-Won, who belatedly came to his senses, tried to pull out the hand that was caught by him, but the tightly held hand could not move no matter how hard he pulled it.
