Captain Desmo Reel arrived at the St. Claire estate after the sun rose just as he had said that he would.

Yvonne yawned as she shielded her sensitive eyes from the bright rays which were now beginning to appear in the grazing field where they stood.

Demon and Precious were walking right next to their masters when the larger etcher noticed the little child's actions.

He took a step closer and in the next moment, the bright rays attacking Yvonne's eyes had vanished and she could open her eyes properly.

"Such a smart boy!" She did not hesitate to praise the horse for the caring gesture that he had made for her.

In a single day, Butler Limo had made sure that the artisans would complete the stable that was meant to house the large etcher.

Thus, at this moment, the two pairs of etchers were walking in the direction of Demon's new home.

'Not bad!' Yvonne exclaimed when she noticed the brand new stable that was erected a few hundred feet away from the other stable.

This distance was to keep the other horses from disturbing the etcher who clearly disliked anyone who was not his master.

Upon entering the stable, Yvonne scanned the place and was pleasantly surprised when she observed the interiors of the place.

'This looks like a mini house!' She declared as she looked around.

There was a large corner filled with hay, a larger than life trough of water, a window to let Demon gaze out while he was resting, and a table at the other corner which held his meals.

The other side of the stable was filled with equipment that might be used for helping to clean and bathe the large etcher.

There was also the saddle that the little girl would use when she rode the horse.

The person who was tasked with feeding the horse was none other than Butler Limo as Demon would scare every other servant who attempted to get closer to him.

Hence the old Butler accepted this extra task to make sure that his little miss' new pet would not go hungry in this estate.

Captain Reel ignored the wide-eyed child who stared at everything inside the stable.

'Money can get you anything you want. Yesterday this was a leveled field now there's a stable here.' He sighed at the richest man in the Capital and his vice of spoiling his only daughter.

Yvonne looked up when she heard him sigh and then tried to make out what he was thinking about.

'It's either the place is not up to his standard or he is just jealous that my Demon has such a great place to stay!' She smirked following which she rolled her eyes and stepped towards the window.

However, the captain was in fact thinking of how his old friend had changed into someone who was willing to do anything just to keep the smile on his daughter's face alive.

He did not bother with the child and then headed in the direction of the saddle that Rutherford had prepared for the little girl.

Carrying it over to the dark etcher, he stepped closer to place it on him and fasten it in order to let the child ride this etcher.

Unfortunately, Demon growled in animosity when he noticed the distance between them decreasing more than what he was comfortable with.

Precious had stayed outside since this was another etcher's territory yet when she heard the ferocious neigh of the larger one of her kind, she stepped towards the door, blocking Demon's retreat.

Trapped between the man whom he could not hurt for his master's sake and the other etcher who blocked his way out, Demon could only glance at his master with pleading eyes.

Yvonne could notice that her new pet had a certain aversion to anyone who came closer to her and this realization made her glare at the Captain.

"Do you want to fasten the saddle over the horse?" Captain Desmo Reel scoffed when he saw the vicious eyes that had been directed towards him.

This sentence made the little girl alternate her amethyst eyes between the saddle in his hands and then at the tall form of her pet.

'The only way that I could accomplish that task as if I was in my old body!' She snarled in her mind but could not make her thoughts known.

Miffed that she was once again reminded of her shortcomings, she pouted as she paused to think of what to do next.

'He does not like others to touch him yet I cannot help in this matter…' She pondered on what could be done in this scenario.

This left her with only one option and she knew that her pet would not like it.

"Demon, can you bear with being touched by this man? It will be for just a few moments." She tried to reason with the horse who shook his head.

Demon's aversion to being touched by others ran deep in his veins and the last time that he had stayed still to let Raylene touch him was because that was the first-ever command that his master had given him.

Desmo rolled his eyes as he watched the little girl trying to coax her horse into accepting this condition as without the saddle there was no way that Yvonne could ride the horse.

'I do not have time for this!' He scowled and then stepped ahead once again.

The deadly leer that he was bestowed made him freeze in his spot for a second but he quickly snapped out of the trance that those crimson eyes were pulling him into.

"Do you wish for your master to be harmed? Is that what you want!?" His angry words made the horse's leer fade away.

An etcher could understand the words being spoken to him and also felt emotions similar to those of his or her master.

Hence, Captain Desmo had decided that it was best to speak to the etcher in regards to his master.

Just as he had thought, Demon shook his head and then nudged his face close to Yvonne's.

The girl who had been frowning after hearing her trainer's words was now giggling after feeling the soft muzzle of her pet rubbing against her cheek.

"If you do not want her to fall off your back while riding then you will stay still as I put this on!" Desmo commanded while pointing towards the saddle in his hands.

'Did he just yell at my pet!?' Yvonne glared at the man who had dared to raise his voice at her new etcher.

The heiress of the St. Claire family had always been extremely territorial and possessive about things that were hers and the only people she was willing to share her stuff with were her family members.

Though she knew that this man was speaking up for her own good, she could not help but feel irked after noticing the pitiable look on Demon's face.

Of course, the etcher did not wish for anything to go wrong when his master first sat on his back therefore he gave a neigh of acceptance.

Desmo scoffed at the pair of master and etcher who both had annoyed expressions visible on their faces as he came close until he was just a foot away from the horse.

"Now stay!" He instructed as he got to work.
