Yvonne's conversation with Baron MacIntyre came to a stalemate after she had mentioned the matter regarding the distribution of the profit.

Not wanting to waste any more of her time which she could spend in the comfort of her warm and cozy bedroom, she decided that now was the time to leave.

However, she would not be at peace with the situation if she left without speaking a few more parting words.

"The patrons, your staff, and the Princess' playmates are my witnesses." She commented in an off-handed manner but was sure that the man had gotten the hint that she was aiming towards.

Just as she had expected, Baron Quinn MacIntyre gulped nervously as he pondered on what to do next.

While he was coming up with a proper plan to placate the little girl whom he had taken as naive, he heard Yvonne speaking up once again.

"Would you wish to make an enemy out of my Papa for swindling me?" She muttered as a childish smile arrived on her face.

The face and expressions were that of a child but the words she spoke and the aura of authority that surrounded her were what had made his anxiety rise by another notch.

Of course, no man in their right minds would try to mess with the Eral who was a ruthless businessman and also a protective family man.

If the news of his daughter being bullied at this cafe reached him then the fate of this little store might be endangered.

'So he is scared of that man!' Yvonne speculated after observing the emotions on the Baron's face.

She had noticed the fear and trepidation on the owner's face on multiple occasions during their short conversation and Yvonne could only think of one reason for this fear.

Rutherford St. Claire was the only name that had popped up in her mind which could connect to the worry that laced the plump man's face.

Having hit the bull's eye, she did not waste this opportunity to make her words have more weight as she rose from her seat.

"If you do not wish to offend the St. Claire's family then pay us a visit tomorrow for lunch. We shall discuss the distribution of profit when the Baron arrives." Yvonne announced as she smiled at the man.

Baron Quinn MacIntyre was left speechless after hearing her confident words and nodded in response to the curtsied farewell that she had bid him.

Raylene had been the same silent spectator as before and all she could do was follow her daughter's actions.

Soon the mother and daughter followed by their maid left the store which was now officially closed for business.

The server hurried and shut the main door once the women from the St. Claire's family exited their store.

Turning around, he faced his Master who was now glaring at the child's back.

"That little girl just threatened me by using her father's name!" He gritted his teeth as he mumbled those words.

Though he had no enmity with the child and was quite impressed with how she dealt with the matter at hand, he was nonetheless hostile towards her.

The main reason for his animosity towards the little girl was the fact that she had asked for a piece of the profit from his store.

'My store, my men, my hard-earned money! Why would I give a single coin to an outsider?' He scoffed at the overconfident words of the daughter of the St. Claire family.

At first, he had been hesitant to speak about matters concerning money with a child but now he had no intentions of even visiting her at their estate.

Even if the others were present and had witnessed the incident, this could not affect the Baron who was the owner and also a man.

'Earl will not trust the words of a little child and the Countess seemed ignorant about the same.' He chuckled as he tossed this incident out of his mind.

The words of a woman held less weight when compared to that of a man so how much less would the words of a little girl weigh in the Earl's heart?

He was sure that Earl St. Claire would trust his words over the silly rambling of a child.

'If it was Earl's heir who had threatened me then I would have given it a thought but since it is the girl, I do not have to care about this any further.' He patted the shoulder of the baker who had done a good job.

However, he had overestimated the power of his gender in comparison to the power that Yvonne held over the fierce and scary man.

Baron MacIntyre turned around and his eyes fell upon the shelves filled with the treats that should have already been in the Royal Palace at this moment.

This caused a wave of panic to wash over him which wiped away all traces of the conversation he had with the daughter of the Earl.

"Why is this still here!?" He growled at the server who cowered the very next second.

Their master was a kind man but the kindest men had the fiercest temper when provoked.

The delay of the delivery that was supposed to be in the Palace by now had caused the Baron to lose his patience with the man whom he had left in charge of the store.

The baker was responsible for the mouth-watering creations that sat on the shelves and the server was to oversee the safe and quick delivery that was meant to reach the Palace.

However, while Baron was celebrating his grand success of serving and delivering the goods of his cafe to the Royals of this Kingdom, he was unaware that those goods had not yet reached their destination.

The King's steward had contacted him and had high praise for the cafe while mentioning His Majesty, King Ophire's interest in serving these goodies during his next celebration.

Such a golden opportunity had come knocking on their door which Baron did not hesitate to clasp with his two greedy hands.

Yet, here they were, the order that was supposed to reach the Palace was right here before his eyes.

'His Majesty will be angered at me!' He feared and then turned his darkening eyes towards his servants.

The baker stood next to the server to show his solidarity with the friend who was as close as a brother would be.

"Would someone speak!?" The loud and angry snarl made the two men flinch as they lowered their heads.

The server was responsible for the delivery, therefore he collected his thoughts and raised his head to answer their master.

"Master, the carriage you had asked for the delivery has not yet arrived." He muttered in a soft voice.

Baron MacIntyre felt the need to smack his servant for not informing him about this earlier but now was not the time for him to lose his temper.

"My carriage is here. Load them in that and ask the coach driver to hurry to the Palace." He instructed as he took his seat.

The desserts were large in number and if he were to accompany them in the carriage, then taking everything in one trip would not be possible due to his large size.

Hence, he sat at the side and watched the driver, server, and baker carry everything into the carriage which was soon on its way to the Rosenhyde Royal Palace.
