Once Yvonne was out of her reminiscing thoughts, she called out to her nanny and just as she had guessed, they had been standing outside all along.

The maids entered the room and informed her that she had been asleep through lunch and that it was already time for evening tea.

"I want to have snacks." The little girl demanded and Roselie rushed to inform the chef about the Miss' requirements.

The old maid then helped her wash her face before leading her to the Parlor where the rest of her family was already present.

"Slept well?" Raylene inquired once Mrs. Jacinth escorted the child into the room and left.

Yvonne smiled which made her puffy face due to her oversleeping look as though her cheeks were bulging out.

Rutherford turned away lest he chortles while looking at her and anger her.

However, Howard wasn't as adept as his father at controlling his laughter and hence burst forth in peals of laughter.

This made the little sister glower at him before she harrumphed and decided not to bother with him.

'I am in a good mood right now and nothing can spoil it!' She scoffed before taking her seat next to her mother.

Rutherford and Raylene watched how Howard's face fell when she ignored him but the little girl had already made up her mind.

'Ruthy, do something.' The Countess glanced at her husband when the boy looked at her with pleading eyes, asking for her intercession in this matter.

Being a good father, the Earl nodded as he looked at the little girl who was merrily munching the cookies that she liked the most from the chef in this Mansion.

'The taste is the same as when I first arrived here.' Yvonne praised the man who had maintained consistency in his flavors even after a year had passed.

"Vonna?" Hearing her father call out to her, she looked up but did not stop chewing the delicious snack.

After all, she had skipped lunch to catch up on her sleep and hence had to fill her stomach up with snacks to sustain herself before dinner could be served.

"Since your CLOVER has already received certification, gaining the Royal Seal on the documents of the soap rights from the Hagen family will not take much time." He diverted her mind which would help her forget about her anger from earlier.

Listening to his words, the little girl nodded as the Royal seal on the 'Sale of rights' document was the next and most crucial step.

"Will we have any troubles?" She wondered out loud as the only person in this entire Kingdom to have those rights was Earl Blaise.

If he hears the word about a competitor then he might play tricks once again.

Yvonne raised her brow in curiosity when she saw the smirk that appeared on her father's ruggedly handsome face.

"You can leave that to me." He assured her that she would get the Royal seal on her documents before the end of this week.

From what he had observed in the past few months, he could tell that the King was also annoyed with Earl Blaise's tactics of amassing wealth by exploiting the contract that was in his hands.

Since the Royal family could not meddle in businesses other than making sure that they paid the Royal taxes each year, the King's hands were tied in this regard.

However, would he not be pleased to know that there was someone willing to stand up against Earl Blaise and also help the commoners who were struggling the most in his situation?

His wife and children grasped the meaning behind his smirk when he revealed these matters to them and saw that they might just get the backing of the King to further strengthen their business.

With that thought in mind, Rutherford made the Butler of the Summer estate draft a letter whose content he dictated to him.

This letter would be sent directly to the King with the documents that would need his Royal Seal.

Thinking of the reasoning behind why the Butler had to be the one to draft the letter, Yvonne could not help but be impressed with her father's sharp mind.

'The King has received letters from Father and I am not suitable to write official letters with my immature penmanship.' She applauded him for his foresight.

King Ophire could recognize the handwriting of Earl St. Claire as they kept in touch for official purposes and Yvonne's shaky hands would give away her age.

Therefore, the skilled hands of the Old Butler were used for this task.

Soon the letter was drafted and enveloped along with the documents needed for the King's Royal seal in order to begin manufacturing and selling their new soaps in the market.

'The faster, the better.' Yvonne frowned as with each day, the time for the plague's arrival was nearing.

Once this matter had been resolved, they could only wait until they received the King's reply.

In the meantime, Yvonne spent her time with her brother for she had already forgotten about her anger thanks to her father's timely intervention.

She visited the spot where she had first arrived in this world.

Standing in the stable where she entered the body of little Yvonne who fell off the horse, she had mixed feelings.

"To think that you would actually fall off a horse." Howard's snickering voice was heard from not too far which elicited another glare from her.

'He's been getting on my nerves today!' She huffed at him as he had provoked her for the second time today.

Demon had been with them since the stable prepared for him was close by and he supported his Master by glaring at the young boy.

'Master was just a little child so there is no need to be ashamed.' He tried to comfort her through his mind but this just infuriated her further.

'That was not me! There is no way that I would have fallen off a horse even if I was young back then!' She scowled at them both before walking away.

Through trial and error and also after consulting with her father, Yvonne had understood something important about her ability to speak with her etcher through her mind.

'Unless I make a conscious effort to connect with him mentally, he cannot hear my thoughts.' She sighed as the multitude of thoughts that passed through her mind was too complex and strange for her etcher to experience at all times.

The same went for Yvonne as she would not be able to hear what Demon was thinking unless he tried to communicate with her through his thoughts.

Thankfully, this way, her secrets were still safe with her because she did not know how they would react if they were to realize that she was not the real Yvonne but was an imposter residing in her body.

Howard and Demon shared a look of hurt as they had been left behind by the little girl who did not turn around even once.

Yvonne glanced in the direction of the woods where she had met the Male lead of this world and saved him from drowning in the stream.

However, she did not wish to visit it under any circumstances.

'That was a bad experience. Zero stars!' She rated her encounter with Prince Fritzen with a big fat zero before heading back into the Mansion as the Sun would set soon.

However, what she did not know was that during the next two weeks that she would be staying in this Summer estate, she would be dragged over to that same spot on numerous occasions.

___

As though it was fate pulling her back to this spot just like the first time she had come here, Yvonne visited the place that she did not wish to get near.

It had just been three days since she had hoped to never see this place but she was back here already.

The Sun's warm rays escaped through the branches which covered the sky in the woods as they reached the ground.

The sound of running water was soothing and the cold breeze in this warm temperature was a pleasant thing to experience.

This was the reason why Raylene had dragged her family of workaholics to the picnic she set up next to the stream.

'Dammit!' Yvonne cursed when she noticed that the spot her mother had chosen was the same where she had yanked the Prince out of the stream.

A large mat was placed over the lush green grass on which she sat with her parents while Howard was trying to climb the tree to pluck fresh fruit that was tempting to the eye.

"You always stay indoors, Vonny." Raylene caressed her cheek and reminded her that it was important to get some sun a few times a week.

Seeing how she could not escape from this place and that there was no more danger of meeting the Prince here, she sighed and nodded in acceptance of her mother's caring words.

Soon, Howard jumped down from the branch with his hands full.

"Vonny, look!" He exclaimed and proudly displayed what he had found.

The luscious red plums, the size of his fists, were mouth-watering to look at and smelled sweet as well.

Noticing the greedy look on her face, Howard chuckled as he dropped them on the picnic mat spread out for them.

"Let me wash them for you." He offered and held two of the biggest plums before heading towards the stream.

Yvonne's eyes shook when she heard his suggestion and whiplashed in the direction that he had headed in.

'That male lead fell into the water without any reason.' She recalled and wondered if the same would happen to him as well.

"Be careful!" She yelled when he had gotten to the edge of the stream and bent forward.

Rutherford chuckled when he saw the concern evident on her face and patted her head lovingly.

"Don't worry, Vonny. The stream is too shallow for him to drown." He revealed, succeeding in shocking her senseless.
